Complete waste of time. I walk daily a minimum of 3.5 miles and decided to give my aching feet a break and booked a foot massage. Arrived for my appointment and in less than a minute she was trying to upsell me 'a combo for $10 more'. Although I declined, she still asked me two more times. Then I go back to the massage table and she wants me to lie on my back and put my feet in a bucket of water about 18" below the edge of the bed. Unless she was going to go Kathy Bates on me, there was no way I could both lay down and put my feet in a bucket 18" below the edge of the bed. The only way was to sit, or scootch down and angle my legs into the bucket. Doing that, the edge of the bucket dug painfully into my calves. I tried to explain I could either lie down or put my feet in the water, but not both. She just kept telling me to lie down and put my feet in the bucket. I got up and left. read more

My sister and I decided to try the 2-hour hair and foot treatment and it was amazing! I started with the foot treatment, which included a short shoulder, neck and arm massage as well, but the majority of the time was foot focused. im very tall so the initial request to lay with your feet in the bucket is a bit awkward but just ask to have the back of the bed raised a little and it much better. The foot massage was awesome and hit every inch from ankles to toes. The hair treatment was very relaxing and also included a short arm, neck and shoulder massage. My hair feels great - so soft! My sister and I just went in today for a 120 minute head and foot spa treatment and it was FABULOUS! Both of our estheticians were friendly and very knowledgeable. The facility was very nicely decorated, extremely clean, and quite zen like - soothing color palette and nice plants. Even the mirrors where they dry your hair after the treatment were exceptionally flattering! After our treatments, we both said we'd be back without question on our next visit. In my opinion it was a better, more relaxing and comprehensive, treatment than we have had a high end resort spas in the area in previous trips. And certainly the value for your money was excellent! Today is my birthday, and the last thing I want to be doing is crying in my car leaving a review about an experience I had that I was so looking forward to. I have seen so many amazing reviews and Tik Toks about a scalp massage, I told my husband this is what I wanted for my birthday. My review is made solely on my experience in Anthem, as I cannot attest the one in Glendale. Positives first: my husband was able to book, and then change my appointment time, without any concerns. The customer service online was a breeze. Upon my arrival, I was met by the nicest worker whose spirit was so wonderful and sweet. She is the reason I am even giving it two stars. She didn't have me sign any paperwork, she just went over somebody else's with me to ensure she knew the answers I would have answered. This was bizarre to me because I arrived almost 15 minutes early to fill out any paperwork I needed to. The massage itself was okay; the pressure on my scalp was hard but fine. The staff did check regarding my comfort and the pressure throughout the massage, but otherwise let me relax to the music - which I appreciated. However, the scalp service that I had during and following the massage was anything but relaxing. I did not receive a scalp analysis, which I thought I read was a part of the 90 minute service paid for. She didn't look at my scalp at all. Then, during certain parts of the massage, I felt my hair being ripped out. This was confirmed when I got up and a chunk of hair in the bowl (pictures attached will show front sections of my hair that are now missing or broken). One tool .... best described in my house as the head scratcher, got stuck in my hair and she spent a few minutes trying to get it out without ripping any more of my hair out. The gloves appeared to make the massage worse, but I didn't ask for her to remove them because I don't know their policy. Like another review said: "The head massage wasn't bad, but not comparable to a wash at a Dry Bar or even your local hair stylist." When I got my hair blow dried, my hair was an absolute rat nest. When she went to then brush it out, it was extremely tangled and due to the sensitivity of my scalp, it hurt. She asked if I wanted "tamer "in my hair, which I was grateful for because I'm assuming that was the only heat protectant I was going to get on my hair. Then, when I read the bottle, I realized it wasn't even heat protectant, it was leave in conditioner. She then half blow dried my hair and asked me if it was "good enough ". She proceeded to then put serum in my hair and told me I was not to blow dry my hair or wash it until maybe tomorrow night. There is no way I can go to work like this tomorrow, so I will be going home now and trying to salvage my hair. Still, I gave the staff $20 as a tip, and proceeded to go into my car and cry. This is not the way I thought my birthday afternoon would end up. I definitely would not recommend this place if your hair care matters. Though scalp treatment is important, if they're not taking care of your hair, I don't see the point. read more

We had a very nice and relaxing Mother's Day at D Best this past weekend! We did one hour head spa and one hour massage for $160/pp, which was a special deal. It was so worth it! They start by washing your hair deeply, massaging your head/shoulders/temples, and then run cool water from the rainbow-shaped fountain over your scalp. So relaxing! They finish it off with a quick blow dry (very basic with no styling, which was totally fine for me). The massage was great too and their technique is great! The treatment area is semi-private with curtain dividers but it did not bother us, since we went as a group. It would not bother me if I were alone but if you need a full room then I'd go elsewhere. I was given a gift card to D Best Foot and Head Spa for my birthday and decided to have a 1 hour head massage. I have extremely long thick hair and was a little concerned how it would go. I can honestly say this was absolutely amazing, I am so relaxed and my hair and scalp feels so great, nothing got stuck in my hair, it now feels very smooth, and being particularly dried was perfect for me. Would definitely recommend this as a relaxation technique, and I will be back for other treatments. read more

This was the best experience of my life. I got the combo foot and head massage, (total of 2 hours) and I can honestly say I left there a better person both physically and emotionally. The massage therapists here are seriously no joke. I'm pretty sure whatever they did to me made me taller, and thinner. I cannot wait to go back and tell everyone I know to come here, asap. This is purely relaxation, they do an amazing job at that. I noticed another reviewer worried about her blowout, etc. this is not the place for that and shouldn't be rated as such. It is so much more than that. Don't be coming here before your birthday dinner expecting perfect hair! You will be relaxed and very moisturized. 10/10 experience! read more
