I haven't been to Raise but Jess has treated someone I love. I have encountered many therapist and…read morethere are many out there who are clinically sufficient. What Jess brings to the table is something more, which was a genuine concern for my child. On one of our conversatios she said " I went on this run and I was thinking about"... she was thinking about my kid and how to help. She made me feel like we ( we because as parents, things that affect our kids affect us) were "seen." I think more often than not people get complacent in their careers, including the medical or mental health field, which I would chalk up to human nature. However, she never made me feel like my kid was number or just another patient. She was someone going through something and Jess was going to figure it out. We had to stop seeing Jess due to some circumstances out of my control. Which only lead us to a merry go round of therapists and it wasn't until then, that I was able to fully appreciate her, not only for her emotional investment in my child but also for her instincts, which were proven to be spot on. While on that mental health merry go round, I learned that not every therapist has the capability to convey a genuine sense of commitment and concern for their client/patient , however Jess did. Taking on someone else's emotional pain, trauma, anxieties and fears has to be one of the hardest jobs I could imagine, especially when it comes to children...so I can understand having and internal shut off valve and not fault anyone needing to enact that protective mechanism. But as a parent who's child hurts....I sure as shit want someone who sees my kid, as I see them. Once again I saw Jess early in her career. Not only do I magine that she has gotten better with time but I imagine now that she has her own practice, she chooses people who values their clients as much as she does. ...I did recently refer someone here and they had positive reviews about Jess, Teena and the facility.

Racism, classism, and homophobia are alive and well here, and leadership does nothing to stop it. In fact, they contribute to it. The services offered are only okay if you get a decent human as your provider. BE CAREFUL During my time here, I was going through a traumatic situation involving domestic violence. Instead of offering compassion or basic human decency, this company weaponized my personal trauma against me. They had the audacity to include my experience as part of a "corrective action plan" -- as if surviving abuse was a professional shortcoming. Let that sink in. Rather than supporting me, they punished me for it. On top of that, coworkers and management alike made discriminatory remarks based on race, sexual orientation, and background -- and HR? Useless. Concerns are brushed off, gaslighting is rampant, and retaliation is real if you dare speak out. It's a place where your value is determined by how well you fit into their outdated, whitewashed standards. Do not apply here if you are a person of color, LGBTQ+, or from a working-class background -- unless you're ready to be constantly undermined, disrespected, and dehumanized. This company doesn't just lack integrity -- it lacks basic humanity.

The situation was so traumatic for him that he doesn't even want to speak about it with his family or therapists. His mom and family were also traumatized as she could hear him begging for his mom when she ran in the door. This child is verbal and not aggressive as he tends to isolate himself when he is upset. The providers here handled a child's crisis in the worst way possible. Children deserve better- especially children who need help and care and expect to get it at a center made to help them.

We had the initial intake in mid September 2017, started ABA by late November 2017. We have been here about 11 months, and the changes in our kid's behavior have changed so drastically for the better! It is important to note that many of the therapist here have been around for a while. The turnover is quite low- therapist usually only leaving because their studies are complete and are moving back home or to a bigger city for employment. The receptionist is very lovely and a very welcoming face for CARD. When schedule changes are needed on our end, the office manger almost always helps us find a solution. Keeping the line of communication open here is VERY helpful. Couldn't be happier with the progress the kiddo has made. Have also made some (hopefully life long) adult friends here.

I can say HOPE Group is truly amazing right now. I am currently receiving habilitation and vocational rehabilitation services through HOPE Group. I am on the path to achieving more independence through these services. At work, I work with my HOPE coach to understand how to do my job well. We have frequent conversations on the phone about how to handle certain situations at work or even to just share joyful updates. I wouldn't be where I am today at work without the support of my HOPE Coach and I will apply the systems she taught me as I continue to do my job independently. In my personal life, my habilitation provider Ali and I work on goals like cooking and walking across the street. We also talk about life and work. She even met my parents a few weeks ago. The paperwork that I submit for him is irrefutable and have opened doors for him to get the support he needs. The location is very nice and, of course, kid-friendly. My copay was over $700, however, I still say it was the best $700 I ever spent. I had one weird moment when I was leaving the office and an employee jumped in front of me and blurted out that my insurance hasn't paid yet. It was very odd, embarrassing, and uncomfortable. Still worth the money. My lower score is because their follow through and support after the diagnosis is awful. After your diagnosis if they're over the age of 5, they send you out the door and you have to figure the rest out on your own. I called them twice after his diagnosis and both times they refused to help me. They were nice about it, but they wouldn't help. My insurance required validation from the psychologist and they refused to call them. So now my son can't get ABA therapy that they said he needs. Its very frustrating.
