I didn't get to the bakery until late mid morning and most everything was gone, with 2nd batches in the oven. I bought a couple of rounds of sweet bread, and the sweet bread here is amazing. It's just like my late grandmother's recipe. On my second visit, I ordered a mista sandwich and a couple of pastel de natas (and more sweet bread). The sandwich and tarts were divine! I was so happy that I stopped by again. I don't drive up north as much these days, but this bakery is a 45 min drive, and I plan on going again soon.

The atmosphere felt so clean, cozy, and welcoming with such a fun vibe all around. As it started getting busy, the workers quickly organized everyone into a line which made the process smooth and efficient. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait long before it was my turn, and I had the pleasure of being helped by Brittany. She was absolutely lovely, super friendly, and incredibly helpful! I genuinely enjoyed chatting with her during my visit and really appreciated all of her recommendations. A1 customer service for sure -- she truly made the experience even better, so I definitely wanted to give her a special shoutout! Even though my visit was brief, I still enjoyed it so much and could already see myself coming back again. For my birthday freebie, I chose the carrot cake flavor and it was delicious! While I was there, I also picked up the cutest sparkler candle. They had so many adorable candles, packaging options, and little extras throughout the store that made everything feel extra festive and gift-worthy.
