do not go here if you are truly a sick, cancer patient. not only is there 0 parking, the people who work there actually do not give a f about you. i attempted to bring my mil here who just completed chemo-radiation. we had to park in a shifty lot down the street. my mil fell twice, as there were huge rocks everywhere & she is sickly obviously. no warning was given at time of apt making that there is no parking. i called from the car (on the way to urgent care) to let them know & no one answered. then was told the $75 charge for the apt would not be refunded as i didn't cancel 24 hours prior...even sent a screen shot proving i called at least 4 times. was given many songs & dances as to why they were straight robbing my mil. maybe they are good for able bodied ppl. i wouldn't know read more

Worst Experience ever! BEWARE and educate yourself. Reviews are the worse. The website states "Your satisfaction is our priority" this statement is an untruth in my experience in dealing with Myisha. I contacted Myisha by telephone in regard to an install The piece of hair that she used on me was actually made for another customer, but she /Myisha suggested it was a match to my hair. She would just make the other customer a new one. I agreed to give it a try, per her advice. This was my first experience with this type of install. Within 5 days it lifted/came loose. When I contacted Myisha, she immediately, without any hesitation, blamed me during the entire conversation. She stated what I do to keep it, you have hot flashes your body makes it lift. I was on the phone gasping from her responses instead of offering help. She was very negative and gave not one solution in how she could help. No response to help and let me take a look at it and see if there is a solution. She has the worst people skills in my experience talking with her after this poor install. I paid $190.00 for my hair to be done and for the hair to be lifted within a week. You would think someone who is a professional would want your continued business and try to find a solution. Not her! I sent her an email after a discussion with my husband that we were not easy to talk to, asking for a partial refund, which I would think would be fair. Her first line in the emails she wrote, " I am going to try to be professional". This statement proves that she doesn't have the proper skills in my humble opinion to handle customer satisfaction; again, going off the statement from her website. This is not customer satisfaction, communicating effectively. A quick and effective response, please accept my apologies, or here is a solution here is a $70.00 refund. The mere fact that you gave me someone else's piece of hair may have been an indication that it wasn't for me, maybe take ownership that you may have slightly done something wrong. I Would NOT RECOMMEND Myisha for any services if you thought your voice matters, this is not the place for you. I purchased a human hair wig in the color 33 and received a synthetic wig in an unknown color that I paid a total of $270 plus $13 shipping. As a business I don't understand how you don't care about the quality of the products that you're selling and putting the blame on the vendor quality and the customer instead of taking accountability. Post the real pictures of the wigs that you're selling instead of using pictures you pulled from the internet. The unfortunate part is I was patient with this business after they sent me the wrong wig the first time. As long as I remain a decent person and do right by people I'm quite sure God will put the money that I lost back into my pockets. God saw what transpired with this purchase I made and what this business did. Changing up the website the next day after I purchased the wig and changing the return/exchange policy, removing the picture and description of the wig I clicked on to purchase and putting a different pictured wig with no description in my order shipping confirmation. Truly diabolical business practices to say the least. They did all of that for $270!!! LOL!! That's crazy because I would have been a repeat customer who would have spent thousands of dollars with them buying human hair wigs over time. I was a new customer at this salon and there are women out here such as myself who don't mind paying a few hundred dollars every 2-3 months for a quality human hair wig. I remember coming here thinking I would get a weave - I wanted to check out the place and have some questions answered beforehand so I had my hair washed. When finished, the woman at the counter told me that I had to pay an extra $10.00 for the woman taking out my hair. I felt conned because when I originally asked her how much it was to do my hair - she never included a price for taking out my twists. She never even asked my stylist if she did take out my twists (Which took me all but three minutes to take out) - she assisted me with literally ONE of them. No one should charge $10.00 to take out hair for 3 minutes. Mind you, I'm the one who took out 98% of it! I can maybe understand if you have extensions / braids - or something complicated - but really? Now that I'm reading about this late fee review - it makes me wonder if the salon is just looking for any reason to get people for their money. On a lighter note - the woman at the counter was very informative on the types of weaves /wigs / styles you could get. My stylist didn't put any protective barrier, oil, or cream before blow drying my hair until I asked (because who isn't afraid of heat damage???), but she was nice - just make sure you ask for anything to protect your hair before it gets blow dried. The owner (I believe she was the owner in the back room) was super friendly with a most beautiful aura. I wonder if she would have done things differently. I want to go there to get my hair done, but it's a bit pricy compared to the competition and my experience was not what I expected. read more

I wanted a wig repaired and maintained--the job was great. I had spent a lot of $$ when I had it made and needed to be able to wear it again. I also asked to have my natural hair cared for since I have alopecia and just wanted directions for care. I decided to just have it cared for there since the cost was within my budget. I've followed her from the Northeast to, Bridgeport, PA to her most recent location in the Olney section of Philadelphia. I feel comfortable in the salon because she has a private area so everyone doesn't have to see my entire process taking place. Scheduling is very simple and she is also flexible. I had a 1pm appointment at this salon to get my hair done. I was 13 minutes late due to unforeseen traffic. This salon is very unprofessional and incompetent. First, it took them forever to service my needs (almost 2 hrs.) There were 10 people working there and 3 clients. After they were finally able to service me at their convenience, I had to pay for my hair treatments. The lady who took my payment charged me a late fee of $10 because I was late...I questioned her about it. She said "oh, I forgot to tell you, we charge a late fee if someone is 10 min. late" What? Really? a salon charging a customer a late fee for being late? unheard of???!! I was less than pleased. I have never heard of such a thing. Complete turn off. They also did an awful job with my hair. The results were barely noticeable. Complete waste of $85 (including their $10 late fee). I was so disappointed. I left in angry but said nothing. Visited the salon today and had a great experience. I have natural hair that reaches to my bra strap when stretched. I have searched for a stylist who respected my decision to wear natural hair and didn't use excessive heat and doesn't talk negatively about my hair in another language assuming I couldn't understand. I think my search is over. Scheduling via Style Seat and texting with Myisha the owner was a breeze. Amber, the Jr. Stylist, was very gentle with washing, detangling, and blowing out my hair. When I ask for some additional detanglng to make the blow out go more smoothly, she quickly changed her technique and did not revert back to the prior way for the balance of my blow dry. Myisha was equally gentle with my hair with her use of the flat iron and to trim my hair. Only a fraction of an inch was trimmed where needed and my ends look much healthier. I never felt they applied excessive force or heat to my hair. I have ALOT of hair to deal with, and they were patient and gentle from beginning to end. I'm only deducting one star because they don't use heat protectant, so I brought my own, but their willing to use it.
