If you're looking for a stylist that will listen to you and pay great attention to detail, go to Salon Moda and ask for Gianna. She is amazing. I always leave happy and feeling glamorous. Gianna is also incredibly skilled at makeup and eyelash extension application. Usually I'll go in for a cut and color but I recently had an appointment with Gianna for a formal style for my high school reunion. I showed her a picture of what I had in mind and she didn't even bat an eye. My hair came out perfect and it lasted me the entire night. I was really happy with how it turned out and I got a ton of compliments. The salon is super clean and decorated nicely. Not to mention, the rest of the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. This place keeps a nice atmosphere however some not all the workers there are not qualified to cut hair. I gave clear instructions on how I like my hair cut, I gave the length and how I like my face framed. Two easy things, I don't go over the top at all. At the end it turned out "cute" but not at all what I was going for. My hair months later is still not framing my face how I like. Personally would pay more for a better cut in the city that I would enjoy. Have not yet liked one salon in the bucks area. Lesson learned on last minute haircuts. read more

This is a place where you really feel at home, although you can feel comfortable knowing your privacy is also completely respected. I humbly tell you that I get compliments ALL THE TIME (really!!) on my hair color, thanks to Dominic and Gianna!! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a friendly hello, a smile, and a request for something to drink: coffee, tea, or water. From then on, whoever takes care of you, whether it's Dominic, Gianna, Nicole, Bart, or anyone else who you've come to see, you will leave happy and satisfied. They listen to your needs, and pay attention to detail. The new product line, L'Anza is awesome. The keratin oil treatment (currently $40.00) has changed my life. I mean it. I have exceptionally thick hair, and it cuts down on my drying time by about 30%. I was apprehensive about the cost, but you only use a dime size amount, and it lasts a very long time! They offer many different products for all hair types. Why does MY opinion mean anything? Both my husband and I have been clients since the 1980's. (The salon was previously located in Philadelphia). Salon Moda absolutely is the best salon I've gone in the Huntingdon Valley area AND any surrounding area! After months (years?)0 of getting average blow outs at other locations, I needed a style for a wedding that required my clip in extensions to be used. A friend recommended Nicole, right when I came in for my consult, you could tell you were in the presence of someone extremely talented. For that event, I had Nicole do my hair and I also had my makeup done- I was blown away! I have went back since for another formal hairstyle and she was so good that I switched to Moda for my hair coloring as well. Nicole is able to take a picture and turn it into reality. I am so impressed with her talent and am excited to do many more styles. I also want to add, everyone who leaves the salon seems thrilled with their end result.
