As the sole worker most of the time, it became difficult to get in touch or book appointments consistently- especially emergent appointments. I also noticed that the shaping of my brows started to shift over time, and unfortunately, they weren't growing into the style I originally loved. It felt like the consistency just wasn't there, and the shape I had about 11 months ago was no longer being maintained. It's clear that Simky is doing her best managing everything, but I think the experience could really benefit from additional trained staff to help provide a more reliable and consistent service when she's unavailable. For now, I've found another place that's been working better for me, but I truly wish her continued success and would give this place 2-3 stars.

I had more ingrowns after this sugaring than the previous one, I'm not sure who's to blame. To be honest. I know I exfoliate. My eyebrows were gorgeous, no issues there. The face sugaring... she told me I had bumps because of folliculitis. This was the first case of her dodging blame and blaming the customer. It was my first time having the hair removed from my face. So I'm not sure if that's true or not but what I do know is. She does double dip in the wax. So it could have been a a slight infection. Today when she messed up my eyebrows, well.... the skin under them.... she tried to tell me that it was a normal thing just like she said the folliculitis was a normal thing. She went from saying all I made a mistake I didn't hold your skin tight enough..... to saying it's a normal thing it happens to everyone. I'm starting to think the "folliculitis" was not a normal thing. It caused a lot of hyperpigmentation on my face. For which she also wouldn't hold herself accountable for. The thing is, if it was just folliculitis, then my eyebrows and lip should've had folliculitis as well but it was just on the sides. I've had to explain multiple times if someone comes to you to receive a treatment, and when they leave their face is worse. You have to hold yourself accountable for stuff like that. Today I had to explain to her that you can't mentally manipulate someone and try to make them feel like it's their fault when you do something wrong. She tried to tell me if you're out in the sun too much or maybe use retinol or maybe it's just the wax the wax took the skin off. No you control the way you waxed the skin off my face. She said she never had a client try to make her feel bad before. And I was a bad person. But I can't make you feel bad if you feel bad.... it's because you know you did something wrong. She kept saying that I should stop accusing her. When it was fresh and it just happened.... and there is no one else to, as she calls it, accuse. She started getting loud she started talking over me all of the signs that people exhibit when they know they're wrong. She had a client that was coming right after me even though she said she didn't work on Mondays. I think maybe she was rushing. Imagine putting wax on a wax strip on skin, and not holding it taut. When you go to rip it off, the skin is going to lift with it vs holding it tight enough so it can't. But she tried to tell me "the wax grabbed the skin and the skin just lifted" at first. The skin doesn't just lift on its own. When she saw I wasn't buying it then she said..... "maybe I didn't hold your skin enough". She keeps calling it a minor "skin irritation" what I don't think she understands is.... she waxed multiple layers of skin off of my face. I've got quite a bit of hyperpigmentation on my skin from the sugaring.

Irma educated me about my skin, and what I mean by that is she took the time to explain what I need and what I don't need based upon her expertise as an esthetician. For example, all this time I thought I had moles on my face, but Irma said there weren't moles. Unfortunately, I can't remember what the scientific terminology name is, but she removed it. It took a day (maybe a few hours ) to heal, but when it healed my face was cleared of blemishes. It was unbelievable. It was like looking at my face for the first time just without moles. Three words: LIQUID GEL NAILS. Hana, the owner, talked me in to getting a liquid gel overlay on my natural nails. Now one year later I still have my nails. They're strong, never chip and never break. I am a hairstylist so I am in the water and using my fingertips all day, every day - I have never had one lift or break off. The initial cost of the overlay is more expensive than gel or acrylic nails, but I now only have to get my nails done once a month instead of every two weeks. One of the other really good things about the liquid gel is that you can either get it in a clear for a very very natural nail or in a slight tinted pink that looks extremely natural. If you choose you can also do a gel polish coating on top for different colors, or designs, or glitter nails. I do not regret getting liquid gel nails and I love Hana. She really is the best! I have been getting my nails done for 20 years and have never stuck with anybody as I know I will stick with Hana. read more

By far the BEST NAIL salon I have ever gone to. Don and Amy ( the owners) are great. When you walk in they know your name and what services that you will typically get. All their staff are friendly and welcoming. When I get my nails done every two weeks like clock work, Don will do my nails and Anna does my pedicure. I have never been disappointed since i started getting my nails done by them about 2 and a half years ago. In fact I love them so much that I dont even live in the area anymore and re located, and i still make the drive just so that I can get my nails and toes done by them. And it is not a short drive, if im lucky and there is not traffic I am able to get to the salon in about 30 minutes. They have been loyal to me so I will continue to stay loyal to them. This is the Best Nail Salon from Hallandale. I tried them all and I couldn't find someone who does liquid gel nails. And if they try to do ,it comes out very bold and you don't want to have bold nails.I was asking for some models on the nails, but nobody do that. Until I found LIN from NAIL IMPRESSIONS salon. She knows the technique and she makes whatever model I want. She's fast, and she makes me happy all the time. My nails look elegant and fine. The same thing on my feet. Gel Nails! I'm hooked! Nail technician Hana is amazing. She specializes in applying Gel Nails (I switched from Acrylics) and I am so very happy. A set of Gel Nails with gel polish applied will last me at least a month or more and they look fresh the entire time. I am very rough on my hands and rarely do I break a nail. When I go back to the salon it's because the nails have grown out and honestly, I'm ready for a new color! Nail Impressions is a lovely more intimate salon that is very calm and relaxing. LK's is located in Aventura in Best buy shopping center next to Boston Market. they just moved to that place, but i have been going to see Amy, the owner. She is great and i love the way she does my nails, I get a lot of compliments from people. They offered a warm, relaxing, and friendly place to unwind. I have been in Florida on vacation and my acrylics were falling apart. I needed to get them back up and running. I looked at a lot of reviews but LK caught my eye. The salon was not smelly at all and everything appeared clean. The tech listened to what I wanted and completely delivered. I am soooo happy with my matte black full set. The tech did an amazing job. Best salon I have ever been to. I'm used to being ignored during my manicure/pedicure, but everyone at this salon was talkative and nice. I've gotten so many compliments on my nails as well which is really nice. I kitesurf and go to the beach a lot, so I'm really surprised that my nails still look good after a month.
