I really didn't want to leave a bad review especially being an owner of…read morea BOB I know how detrimental these reviews can be, but as the days went on and I become more and more disgusted by my nails, which only 5 days later I had to go get them redone to my liking. Let's start at the door, you have to be buzzed into the salon (idk, but I felt that was weird) and the lady who opened (who seems like more of a bad receptionist than a nail tech based on my results) the door gave me a crazy look like "who are you and why are you here" type of look so I had to ask "you guys do take walk ins right?" To which she said "yea, what do you need" I needed a full set and a pedicure. I was instructed to choose my color(s) which I did. She had me sit down and SEEMED nice enough but throughout my visit I could tell she was REALLY TRYING to act nice and it wasn't genuine at all. I was annoyed by her, she was annoyed by me and I could tell she didn't do nails REGULARLY just by how she handled the tools and kept cutting my fingers. Now, in regards to my actual nails, I was at the salon for TWO HOURS and NEVER GOT MY PEDICURE. At the end I was told that "everyone has appointments coming so there would be no one to do your nails and Keisha don't do feet" don't get me wrong, I already know that the owners typically don't do feet but the way she said it annoyed me further. Now let's talk pricing... $25 for my full set, $10 extra for coffin shape, now I chose a gel polish which normally is $10 extra to which they charge $25 EXTRA so now I'm looking at $60. Now at the place I usually go to, I get 2 designs, I asked for the cost of rhinestones on the 2 fingers and was told I it would cost $15 per nail which would put me at $90 so instead I asked for a glitter paint to which I was told was going to be $5 extra... which I guess I had to pay for her to put one bottle down and open the other, I'm still confused as to why another polish color would be extra, but whatever. By this point, I'm over this place and just want to leave. I should have said something to the owner about my nails before I left but that's my fault I didn't. In the end I knew I wasn't going to be happy so I said "you know what, let's scratch all the extra stuff and just do regular paint" for which I paid my $35 to get the hell outta there. The edges of my nails weren't painted and when I said something to my nail tech, of course she got an attitude, but I had her paint them all correctly. I also mentioned the the shape was odd I said to her "why do they look so round and bubbly??" She acted like my English wasn't that could and gave me another one of those looks (this was the 3rd time) I couldn't put my finger on it then but now I realize they looked like that because the acrylic is laid OVER my cuticle line so they look oddly shaped. Ugh. Anyway to think they almost tried to charge me $90 for this CRAP that was on my nails just pissed me off. To the owner, I've read some wonderful things about YOU but be weary of employees who don't care for your business the way you do, they will literally run you into the ground! I wish you the best of luck and all the blessings but I personally will not step foot back over there. I regards to the paint in the pictures, don't judge the salon because maybe I didn't let them dry properly. She told me to run the machine 4 times which is 16 minutes. I did 5 times but they seem to still have gotten damaged in my commute home. Oh and I had to pay EXTRA to use my card smh - $3 at that! Ugh

It shares half its space with a hair salon. The owner for the nail shop John is disrespectful and treated me like trash. I entered the nail shop on 7/3/21 at around 2:10PM for a gel pedi and refill. Instead, I received awful service and complete hate crime treatment. As I'm sitting waiting to be assisted, John has his friend who doesn't work there begin soaking my nails while John is juggling 3 people to include people who came after me. While sitting for a pedicure, nails still soaking, I received several discriminating rude comments from John. Towards the end of my pedi, I asked if he could file my nail as he had filed it slanted. Mind you, I had not said anything the entire time. He tells me to be quiet, he knows his job and don't ask him any questions. He then proceeds to tell me to "shut my mouth and don't ask him nothing, just sit and shut it, he has done this a long time, no one tell him nothing". It's like an evil spirit was among his soul and he treated me so bad. In disbelief, I say excuse me, how dare you speak to me in that manner. Please put my gel on, file off my nail so I can leave, I will never come here again. "He says good, I don't need your little money". He slaps the gel on very sloppy , no foot massage, crooked filing and tells me to pay and leave. He was the nastiest person ever. My nails still being wrapped with acetone and clumpy acrylic, I asked him to file off the clumps of acrylic. He refused, I'm in sheer tears, everyone witnessing this awful treatment as he is now in a rush to get to his next client Cindy who is having both her hair and nails done. He then goes outside, calls the police, tells them a black Woman doesn't want to pay, that I ran him over with my car, I hit him and tried to leave without paying. This was complete falsification. I was sitting in the nail shop the entire time. He completely made a horrendous hate crime lie against me as I had not problem paying.. Meanwhile, I'm standing in the nail shop the entire time in complete tears while he's outside being dishonest . 3 Police arrive, I'm in the shop in complete tears and explain to them how mistreated I was and that he did not finish his job. The police did not care and ask me to pay $50 for the pedicure that was incomplete and acetone nails sitting on my hands with foils. I asked the police if they are going to question him for false accusations which I had several witnesses sharing siding with me. and they told me to file a civil matter and that they had other things to do. This was Officer Madeira badge number 341, Officer C Castillo badge 323 ( whom was extremely rude) & St. Officer Handcock whom was pleasant- All with the North Miami Beach police department. I will be filing a complaint against this monster John and filing in civil court for return of my funds and to also pay for my eye lashes as I had just come from getting them done on which several came off due to my full of tears and for humiliation. I pray this shop is closed down and he never gets to serve people again due to his hateful heart. No one should ever be treated this way. This world has so much pain and we should be kind to one another. I was discriminated against and lied on and I will not stand for it. I wish him all the best and may he reap what he sowed. Do not go to this shop. I went somewhere to have my nails serviced a feet polish and filing fixed. Awful Experience!
