This was my first time at this salon, and I had Malu. She did a wonderful job, and I really appreciated how kind and welcoming the entire staff was during my visit. I went on a Saturday morning. Maybe because it's the beginning of summer and the timing was just right, but I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was in and out. I've never been to a Dominican salon and been serviced and out the door in just two hours! After my trim, my hair felt bouncy, soft, and healthy. Beware if you care about your natural hair. My curl pattern is gone. Hair is fried. I believe they use chemicals (relaxer) in their shampoo or conditioner. They are not there for hair health. My hair smelled completely burnt even after 4 washes. Never again! read more

Got my daughter a blow out and thought they did a good job. Washed her hair 2 weeks later and there's a foul chemical smell coming out and half her curls are straight. Whatever spray or shampoo they used has completely damaged her hair. Terrible! I will never take her back there. read more

One star for friendly receptionist, another star for parking and last star for cleanliness. I went with my daughter, 9 & we spent 3 hr 30 mins to get a regular blow out. Stylist cut her ends very badly and lazy in a way that she just cut the ends at the end of my daughters service, she didn't even take her time to cut all her ends just for it to "look" even, and they charged me $15 for that cut. We spent a total of $125 and came in with hair washed and deep treatment. All they had to do was rinse. Vibe was off too, stylists were cranky as if they were providing a free service. Lastly, one of the stylist didn't want to do the rolos in my hair, unbeknownst to her, I understood what she said in Spanish. I Wouldn't be back if you paid me and I'm Dominican. read more

This salon is Everything Great when for servicing creoles and African American customers. The prices are competitive and the stylists get you in and out. No appointment is necessary. I went in at 9a for a wash, deep condition, roller set and blow out. I walked out at 11a. I have never had a bad experience here. The staff is all so welcoming. I came in today almost an hour before closing and was NOT turned away. The wash lady took special time to make sure my flaky scalp was clean. And my scalp is super flaky. My go to girl is Antilla however all of the ladies does wonderful hair. Look no more. On Saturdays, I recommend you arrive early! If you are looking for excellent hair care...look no further. My hair is in the best shape it has ever been in...extremely healthy. I usually get the blowout with a deep conditioning. I have also had a keratin treatment applied a few times as well. Hair care is their specialty. They work with all hair textures and lengths. First let me start by saying I'm a curly girl all the way. So my salon experience is minimal. My salon experience is a trim every 4-6 months. I usually straighten my hair about once or twice a year. Most of the time I do I myself and not very well . I don't care for salons because you do a lot of sitting and waiting. So yesterday I must have been ready for an adventure, plus I'm new to the area and saw this little shop in passing. I called and got some information and found out they did walk-in only. I wasn't sure if that was a good or a bad thing so.... So I went on Saturday. The salon opens at 8am and I arrived about 8:30am. Needlessly to say there were about 7 ladies in front of me. I was a little concerned when I only saw one stylist, but about 15 minutes later reinforcements arrived. There were about 5 beautiful Dominican women marching in. The spirit of the salon started pick up and the music started to play The waiting room slowing began to start emptying and I was NEXT!!! (Constant flow of customers the whole time) I received a good shampooing and a deep conditioner. Well..... here comes the waiting, and waiting, and waiting under the dryer and waiting for my stylist to call me next. The upside is they provide free wi-if to try and keep the troops calm. Although, I couldn't do this every weekend because I just can't sit that long I did appreciate the time and excellent job she did on my hair. This is a group of women that work HARD!! Every customer that walked out looked amazing!! I would highly recommend this salon. I would have given them 5 stars but the waiting was a little long. read more

I received a silk press on my thick 4c hair because a family member recommended me. Sadly the lady damaged my curl pattern from all the heat applied! I didn't notice until I washed my hair 3 weeks later and my tips along with other parts of my hair were still straight and wouldn't go back to its natural curl pattern. Waste of 60 bucks plus I had to wait 6+hours for my friend because her hair took a little bit longer. My friend only paid 40 bucks ... Which I didn't understand. She got her hair in rolls, sat under the heat, then did couple blow outs, then a straighten couple times.
