came in for a simple eyebrow wax and left with a serious injury. The technician ripped the skin off both of my eyelids -- not irritation, not redness, but actual skin removal. I didn't even notice until I got to work and realized the area was raw, burning, and extremely painful. This should never happen during a professional waxing service. It's a sign of improper technique, poor training, or negligence. Instead of leaving with clean brows, I left with what is essentially a burn injury on one of the most sensitive parts of the face. I now have to treat the area carefully, spend money on healing products, and hope it doesn't scar. The way this was handled was completely unacceptable. Please be cautious booking here -- a basic service should not result in an injury like this. read more

Good for regular colors but don't go here for cat eye. The nail tech took about 4 tries on one finger to do the cat eye look and even after another employee tried to help it just kept showing up as glittery polish. I went back the next day to get it fixed and while the front desk staff was very kind the employee who was supposed to fix my nails just slapped another coat on and made me feel like it was my fault for not saying anything the first day - which I did! I went here January 7, 2026 to treat myself to a relaxing pedicure. Tina was providing the pedicure and was rough. I told her to be more gentle. When she was working on my left big toe she went in too deep with the metal tool and hurt the skin. I told them right away about it. The pedicure continued and I paid $95.72 for the service. That evening my left big toe was red and hot and itchy. I went to the doctor the next day and they said I had a bacterial infection from the pedicure and they prescribed me antibiotics and ointments to put on that toe. The visit to doctor was $25. I had to take a Cephalexin twice a day and use Mupirocin ointment on my toe. I opened a claim with my bank and D'lano refused to refund me. So not only did they give me a bacterial infection, they refused to refund my money $95.72 for a pedicure that was not enjoying and gave me such a headache to deal with. I will not be returning here and I will make sure to let others know about the service I received here. D'lano has yet to refund me or make this right. read more

I took my daughters here to get their nails done for homecoming, and honestly, I'm very disappointed with the entire experience. We started with pedicures, but none of the pedicure seats had working USB ports. My first daughter paid for tips and acrylic, but when she came out of the chair the acrylic was applied all the way down to her natural nail line -- not at all what she asked for. When we asked for a price quote on nails, the staff gave us different answers each time. At first, they said they don't charge for length, but when my second daughter asked again, suddenly they did. The inconsistency was frustrating. While getting her nails done, the technician told my second daughter she needed a manicure for an extra $10. When she asked what the manicure included, the answer was basically just cutting and cleaning cuticles -- something that should already be part of the service. For nails as short as her natural line with French tips, the total came out to $130, which feels outrageous. The owner came over mid-service and offered a $10 discount to cover the manicure, but when we checked out, that discount was nowhere to be found on the receipt. The only "discount" applied was for paying cash instead of card. On top of that, we were charged a $10 "convenience fee," which was never explained beforehand and just added insult to injury. To make matters worse, the manager, Marissa, was rude, dismissive, and made it clear she didn't care how our experience went. We left feeling brushed off and unwelcome. The one bright spot was that my daughter's nails did come out looking great, and I appreciate the gentleman who actually took his time and listened to what she wanted. But unfortunately, the poor management, inconsistent pricing, hidden fees, and rude service overshadowed everything else. Do not waste your money here. You will leave frustrated, disappointed, and feeling taken advantage of. read more

I really enjoyed my mother's day weekend me-time at this new nail bar here in Helotes! I got a shellac gel manicure and a regular pedicure with the cucumber spa. I simply called and asked for a first-available appointment and was able to get in later in the afternoon, which was great! When I arrived I checked in, picked my colors, and within a few minutes were seated. The place is really nice, everyone made me feel comfortable, and they have a full bar! My mom and I were walk ins, they tell me it's a 20 minute wait for me, and the 20 people who walked in shortly after us were given that same wait time... shocker? It was a much longer wait time, I didn't even mind! Even the receptionist tried to have me sit next to my mom because she knew we came in together, let's be real here you come in with your girls you WANT to sit next to them. Anywhoo, after much longer than 20 minutes they sat me down to soak off my dip. Totes fine. Then the dude does a crap job of soaking off ALL the product off my nail. And proceeds to use his coarse drill bit on my NATURAL NAIL!!! then used ceramic bits on MY SKIN!??? No sir! Then when he's applying tips on my nails, he uses the same size on over 3 nails!!!! And then glued a tip UPSIDE DOWN AND TRIED TO JUSTIFY THIS... I started to have an anxiety attack I was shaking. All I could imagine was that nail he didn't bother to size breaking and causing serious damage(we all have had that one traumatic nail break where it broke farther down than you thought possible) that happens when tips aren't properly sized! I freaked out so bad I told him to just clip the tips down, and I had to get out of there. Btw! When I brought it to his attention that the nail tip was way too small that he needed to SOAK IT OFF WITH ACETONE, he wanted to try and peel it off my incredibly thinned out nail! Don't get me started on the crap RUSHED job they did on an overlay and simple black polish on my mom. Basically I had to come home and REDO her overlay and gel polish application. The work was so bad it hadn't been 3 hours before her polish was CHIPPING! The girl rushed the curing process during the polish, the paint hadn't even properly CURED, so if I touched it, it was still WET. Anyone who has gotten gel polish knows it's supposed to be cured all the way through. Just WOW! You think a place that looks super nice on the inside would hold Their employees to be CLEAN, nope, old files reused implements that are DIRTY AF! Unorganized and dirty were the thoughts that came to mind once I finally sat at a station. And don't expect your tech to have conversation, they'll just be as uncomfortable as any other crappy salon, hoping and convincing yourself they aren't talking crap about you. And before anyone comes at me " we'll why did you guys go get your nails done if you can do them" my family is dealing with a sudden unexpected death and me and my mom enjoy the relaxing feeling of someone doing our nails.... PROPERLY THOUGH. So yeah never coming here again. I almost thought of applying here because I have a book of clients waiting for me to get back to work but HELL no! I'm officially done with this nail shop. It was fine when they first opened, but the last few times the quality of the work has been terrible. The place is clean and nice, they serve drinks .:but I'm convinced they hire brand new techs and almost all of them are male. Not a huge problem, but they tend to rush through the service, rougher and I'm sorry - much less attention to detail. My last set was horrible, horrible. I showed him a picture and he kept trying to push other colors on me, even going as far as to paint one nail a color he "knew" I would like. Umm no, it was burgundy and I wanted strawberry red. He then tried to sell me chrome nails, which cost more. Again no, just give me what I asked for. He didn't even want to show me the shellac book, I had to ask for it. Then the shape, oh my gawd: I said square oval, no sharp corners. Proceeded to basically give me blunt, square nails. The heart design was fine, but it was simple so he should have no problem with it. I had to go home and file them to my liking myself. Also, ZERO shaping or cleaning up the cuticles... when did this start being extra ? My cuticles look rough and mishaped and make the entire set look cheap. This last time was my third bad experience which is why I finally decided to write a review. I tried to give them a chance, but honestly - there are too many other nail shops for me to waste my time being overcharged for poor work. Instead of making a fuss and having to start all over I just paid and decided to take my business elsewhere. Beware because they try to sell you colors that cost more by telling you the colors you do want aren't available. read more

Prices are a bit crazy and service has gone down a lot since opening. The simplest pedicure is almost $40 and add on $20 minimum for shellac. The inside is very pretty and drinks are offered about 75% of the time I have gone. When they are busy you will notice the rush they do. I have had to return multiple times for shellac not being dried correctly. read more

Had an appt for a gel-x with accent nail design. Provided a pic of what I wanted. When I asked for it to be fixed, they told me it looked just like the picture. When I pointed out all the differences (dark nude background, no black outline, etc), they told me that costs more than what I paid (I paid $128 with tip). They also told me that the pic wasn't possible due to the length of my nails (mine are longer than in the pic) I explained that the tech saw the pic and didn't express that there would be any issues with the design. The mngr eventually said I could schedule an appt to come back another day to get it fixed, for an additional cost, on another day cause they were too busy. I just left. The tech is very nice and I was willing to give him another chance but now never again. I used to come with my family and friends and we will now be finding a new salon. read more

She kept hitting my hand and would constantly talk to the person next to her and wouldn't continue my nails. Then the other nail tech who was doing my friends nails asked me if i wanted to do a powder chrome instead of a french tip because it's faster.
