Hubs ordered the 3 hard shell tacos with steak. 13.50 and comes with rice and beans. We ordered 2 drinks and chips and salsa (4.99). First red flag came when the bill was 47.39 not including the tip. When I saw the receipt, they charged 20.75 for my meal and 5.99 for the chips. I asked the cashier about the discrepancy and he got the manager who refunded me the 7.00 over charge in cash, but not the tax I paid. The steak is stored in a beef broth, and appears more like chewed beef not diced steak off the grill and had no flavor. The chips are also bland, without seasoning or salt. The salsa is more like spicy ketchup, The upside is that the ingredients they offer as free toppings appear and taste fresh. I would recommend that they find a different way to display the meats, offer salsa that doesn't resemble taco sauce perhaps add tamitillo salsa. Put some seasoning on your chips when they come out of the fryer and add salt. Season the meat more if it is seasoned to improve the flavor. They are competing with Voodoo Taco across the sidewalk. If the quality of the food, not to mention not overcharging the customer doesn't improve, they won't be able to compete here.
