As soon as I got to the place (my first time) there was a big dog at the entrance I was standing at the door for a while and nobody said anything so I jumped in (it was the owners dog) as they are asking me what service do I want the dog was in my ass I jumped and still they didn't say anything.. I just went to removed a acrylic set that I had on for a while and get a manicure I didn't want polish or gel. The lady that was going to do my service was fighting and screaming with a guy that works there I don't know why but omg I come from work to relax before I go home you know.. that's not even the worst part she took off my nails with another nail literally ripping my nails off I could of done that myself honestly I thought they were going to soak them in acetone or something but no I told her that it hurt that way but didn't listen and I was cryinggggg. I thought it was going to be fast but no she got up at least 4 times to help other people took forever not counting the times she answer the phone. But anyways she cut me a few times and that was $20. I never write bad reviews but honestly this time was a waste of time and money. read more

I never like to write reviews, let alone bad ones, but I felt like I had to. I went in wanting to get my acrylic nails removed, and asked to keep my natural nail length (which I had grown out for almost two months), and for a gel manicure only. However, while removing my last acrylic nail, she clipped my natural nail short, exactly what I'd asked her not to do. Although she tried to put a plastic tip on it (which is not what I said I wanted), I instead just asked her to cut all my other nails down to the same short length, but in an oval shape. However, as you can see in the picture, the finished shape was more of a square. Because I have small hands, I really don't like square shapes, as they make my hands look even smaller. If it were only these two things, I wouldn't be writing this review. However, when I got in the car, I realized my skin had been cut at one point during the process. This salon doesn't sanitize often or use fresh nail files for every new client, so I am concerned about the fact that I was cut with one of these instruments. The only reason I gave them two stars is because it is a cheap salon, and therefore affordable. However, I would rather pay more at another salon than run the risk of another experience like this one at this salon. read more

I also came in with very damaged nails , I had traveled out of state and tried to give a nail shop where I was a chance and ended up removing them myself , he was gentle and helped to remove what I could and made sure to do no more damage than what the other plan had done . From the quality of the work, to the care they put in, I can't say enough good things about DN Nails. This family genuinely cares about their workmanship. They ask because they want to make you happy. And happy does not do them justice. I am on week 6 and going in because of grow out. No chipping/peeling/breaking. Other than grow out, they are perfect. And I am hard on my nails!! Trust me... I usually need to go in once a week, that's how tough I am on them. I'd like to point out that when you walk in to a salon for an appointment, typically you get the 10 minute standard, whether it's 5-20 minutes. These guys are honest, and straight with you. If it upsets you, then you should make an appointment. I seriously feel like I've found a gem. They care. They're real. And they are good. read more

Because of my serving job, I asked him to do the shortest, most natural looking shape and that's exactly what I got. The employees are very sweet and made me feel very welcomed when I came in. I was disappointed at my experience here. Typically I love going to another nail salon, but decided to give this one a try. My mistake. I came in on Tuesday afternoon with my sister to get pedicures and when we walked in there were no other customers (figured since it was the middle of a work day)! The one technician who was there seated us and quickly made a phone call for another technician to come in. We weren't in any hurry, so we didn't mind waiting at all. As we sat to get started, the water for us to soak our feet was barely even luke warm. The technician started working on my sister and she was rough. Every time she picked up or placed my sisters foot down, she was aggressive. 15 minutes into the pedicure process, she was already painting and putting the clear coat on my sisters toes. I was still waiting for the other technician, so my guess was the first technician was rushing to finish my sister so I wouldn't have to wait any longer. Finally the additional technician came in and started on me. She was very kind and apologized for the wait and when she started on me, she seemed to be more detailed then the other gal. Sadly though, she didn't finish my pedicure. The first technician who started my sisters finished mine. I was very displeased at the results. She left polish stains in my feet and the times she would paint outside my nail, instead of getting polish remover to remove it she got the nail clippers and clipped the painted skin off! Neither my sister or I got any type of foot massage or rub, no lotion or anything to end our experience. When I left and walked outside, you could see the "detailed" work that was missed. My feet felt more dry then when I first walked in. Ultimately, I wouldn't come back. The only reason for 3 stars was cause the "late technician" was kind and apologetic for the wait, and for the fact that my sister has previously gotten a manicure there before by the gentleman who works there and had a great experience with him. read more

But at midpoint when I was almost done with my pedicure- I wanted some flower designs - the owner messed up on one of the design and things just went downhill. What the owner didn't realize is that I understood everything she said to her employees. The remarks made about me and other clients at the salon in Vietnamese was rude. All she did was complain how much I was taking up her time to get my mani and pedi done but she is so nice and fake to my face. In the end, I walked away unhappy with fill manicure by the owner. She did such a rush job painting on my gel and kept on messing up the design. I won't be returning there and leaving a negative review of my experience. She probably talk smack about everyone. I went to D N nails and spa once and I will not go again after the first day of getting a full set a nail has broken by me just making my bad and on the second day another one broke doing laundry. I'm always very careful with my nails but on the first couple of days they should not break that easily. A week goes by and I notice a mark under my acrylic. I took my acrylic off and found a fungal infection under my nail, which has never happened to me before. I was not happy at all and now I have to wait a few weeks to get my nails done with the wedding coming up. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Went in for a pedicure and got a short acrylic set, my toes came out cute but she did not scrub my dead skin off of my feet that well. I paid for the deluxe pedi so I expected a good scrub so my feet could be smooth, and the hot towel she used was really hot it was burning my feet. She made me bleed on my cuticles because the drill bit was kinda harsh, washing my hands hours later kinda burned still from my cuticles being cut too harshly. Overall paid $75 for feet and short acrylic, just wished my feet were scrubbed better and she was gentle with the drill, the nails came off 6 days later, the cuts on my cuticles lasted longer than the actual nails :/ read more
