The paint was ok, but I need another pedicure to take care of the dryness that usually is managed in a pedicure. I don't go for the paint as much as for the foot care. I've never had a pedicure that seemed so half-assed and missing in quality. $50 for a gel manicure, and I did not get my money's worth at all... and that is the most basic pedicure they offer. Went in for the ultimate pedi with gel polish along with my mom. Vibes were fine as we entered but turned quickly. Moon serviced me and a man serviced my mom. My mom needed an add on for acrylic and they didn't get the acrylic right the first time. They added more acrylic to her liking but the man that was doing her nails seemed to be bothered since now he was "behind" schedule. They were not busy didn't have clients waiting. Moon on the other hand did a great job on me went through the whole steps listed on the pedicure. But my mother was highly upset they skipped almost half of the same steps with her service even though we paid for the same services. They did not do the wax on her feet, massage was cut extremely short, and they did not paint the entire nail the man had left some areas unpainted. I still paid for the service but will not be going back and do not recommend. I paid $200 for half assed service and I would rather go somewhere else where we both get the full experience and service. read more

In terms of service and personality this place is fine. But my nails are tragic. I got them done 9 days ago and I have broken an entire nail, two have chipped and one is peeling off. I have received dip. When I went back with the broken nail they were happy to fix it but I'm truly just disappointed. The customer service here is 5 stars - let Me start with that. I called one evening and asked if they could work me in for a mani/pedi. I was close by at Costco & got over to them later than Id intended to (long holiday shopping lines and traffic congestion at every light). The owners were gracious, letting come in and get started even though I was late. I didn't realize it then but my being late ended up keeping the owners (husband &wife) as well as two of their staff members to work after their normal closing time. The inside is kept clean; no nail dust covering anything, floor swept & mopped every evening, no chemical smell with good ventilation. The two girls that did my mani/pedi were young, easy to chat with, gentle, and tried hard to give me what Id asked for. My pedicure looked amazing, was relaxing, and lasted three weeks before starting to show their age. My manicure was thick and uneven, chipped within two days, and left me feeling disappointed. The girl that did it was so sweet but clearly struggled while doing it. Considering the situation I didn't want to comment or complain. read more

I had high hopes for this place since it has excellent reviews. I recently moved to Fresno and was trying to find a good nail salon to replace my beloved nail tech were I used to live. The manicure experience itself wasn't bad, people were nice and the place is clean. I did a builder gel manicure on my nails. The first thing that was not great is that the nail technician buffed the structured gel I had on my nail without using acetone. It burned and I could tell that my nails ended up more damaged than if she had just used acetone (like every single time I have ever gotten gel removed at other places). However, the main reason I only give two stars is that three of my nails chipped within 4 days !! That had never happened to me at my old place and really at any other place I had been on the odd occasion when out of town. The corners of my nails were so sharp they kept catching in everything and ultimately chipped. By the two week mark, 7 of my nails had chipped significantly !! The gel pedicure turned out okay but the other nail tech did cut the cuticle too close which hurt and I could tell my big toe was inflamed for a couple of days afterwards. Ended up going to NEON nails to fix it and they were amazing so don't waste your time here. read more

I have been going to several Gel X nail salons to compare places --- and I think I found my favorite. I booked an appointment for Gel X nails with Kim and she was amazing! I told her that the previous salon I went to had hurt my nails in the process of getting my old Gel X nails removed and that I wanted her to be a bit careful of it. She was very careful and asked me if it hurt or not throughout the whole process. I loved her! Not only that, she applied my nails perfectly, with the perfect shape and color.
