This location has changed ownership since I first visited but I can tell it is in good hands now. Ni performed my service, but all the staff showed me kind hospitality. It was a busy afternoon with 3 customers in town for a convention and 1 model prepping for a photoshoot, plus me. Everyone was handled with care in a timely fashion. Extra staff was called in. Mimosas were offered all around (I opted for coffee). I'm a creature of habit, so I never felt the need to change from my classic acrylic white tips to the gel dip, but Ni brought me into the modern world this trip! This place was my hidden gem, it was getting hard to make an appointment at my regular nail place so I found RuBy. I like that you can make an appointment online and the day of they send you a confirmation text. June always did my pedicures and did a great job, really took her time. I started doing my own Gel-X but I was going on vacation and wanted to get them done, so I made an appointment. My appointment was for 6pm, she didn't get to me till 645 and I declined to get my nails done. (my husband was getting a pedi so I couldn't just leave earlier) I know as soon as I said no they were talking about me, but you can't expect someone to wait 45 mins and be cheery. My time is just as precious as theirs and sadly I will need to move on to another salon. read more

I saw the love they put in to their new business, investing in remodeling the whole place from wall to wall to every detail. All their love and dedication to this place shows. Everything is new and clean. As far as the service, I always get gel manicure and deluxe pedicure. I have been here more than a dozen times and can say that 100% of the times I have had the best mani pedi ever! My hands are literally perfect every time. I am paying a little more than I used to, but I think that's the case for everything these days - and I am getting so much more for my money. My manicure has lasted 3-4 weeks every time. As far as the people, it's pretty sad to read reviews about the expectation of conversation from the manicurist (given that it is supposed to be a relaxing experience), or even think that the workers are talking about them because they are speaking their native tongue. Obviously people who make comments like that are the issue themselves, not the workers. The workers are sweet, earning their money doing an amazing craft, and focusing on serving clients back to back. And yes, I have waited long waits here before (not always), but that happens when they are busy, so make sure you call before or have time to wait. read more

I specifically make appointments days ahead because I drive from LA and I usually get one lady to do my nails because they just opened so there's literally only two ppl that work there and one lady is more dominant in nails whereas the other older lady I've only seen do pedicures. I came in at my appointment time and she was busy with someone else's nails. So they prep me with taking my old set off and the guy points to the lady who does nails and says she'll do you next and I said ok I'll wait for her. I realized it was going to take awhile because it seemed she just started on the other girls nails. It took two hours for a simple gel manicure because I showed them a picture and they could not figure out what the color was to emulate it. I wanted a design also but decided to just leave because I have dinner plans soon. When I complained to the guy when I went to pay he said I needed to tell him who I wanted, then why did you tell me in the beginning she was going to do my nails when she ended up not??. I left a 20% tip still because the older lady doing my nails still put in effort and it's not her fault. Anyways they lost a loyal customer who's a big tipper. Update: what kind of business that caters in customer service blames the customer for everything??? I literally said I still tipped because I can recognize where someone puts in effort. And I said I was picky to make you feel better and not feel so incompetent. The issue was the misunderstanding of who was going to do my nails and you telling me that specific lady was going to do me next when she ended up skipping me! Yes please refund my tip. Just came back from my appointment and I'm impressed! The place is clean and quiet! Everyone is very friendly!The ladies are very professional, gentle and patient! There's usually stuff I can nitpick when I go to nail salons but I'm really happy with the result here. They took a lot of time removing my cuticles without being rough and took extra time to remove any excess nail polish on my fingers. Highly recommend their services! read more

I don't get my nails done here but my feet 100000000% recommended they are very nice, they do a very good job. So gentle and take their time. My mom got her dip nail done the first time she loved. I've thought about how to write this review for way too long. I've been to this salon 3 times now. The first time was great. I got a pedicure and my daughter got a full set of gel extension nails. We both left happy. The second time we both got pedicures and gel manicures. I got regular gel and my daughter decided on dip gel. Hers turned out so well that I brought my friend here and we both decided to dip gel manicures. I don't know if my nails just don't take well to this kind of thing but I am very less than impressed. They looked pretty good when I left but almost immediately they started to chip. I couldn't go back the next day to have them fixed so I returned Sunday afternoon (aug 8th). They were very nice and fixed them at no charge. I noticed when I left I didn't really love how they looked. They were sort of uneven. She didn't remove all the color and just used the Dremel to remove the chipped parts. So now it's thicker in some spots. It's also lifting on the side of an entire nail. It's now Tuesday and the same nails have started to chip again which started yesterday. So barely 24 hours later they're chipped. Some of my nails also have vertical cracks in them. Which makes me think more will be chipping soon. I don't really know what to do. Do I go back and have them fixed again? And just decently fixed? I don't really want to go in every 2-3 days to have them fixed that entirely defeats the purpose of the pricier dip gel manicure. This manicure cost 38 dollars plus tip so I would just expect it to last much much longer without multiple trips to have them fixed. The gentleman who seems to run the front is very nice and attentive. Which is why I'm giving 3 stars. I don't think this is a BAD salon I just don't think whoever did my manicure knows exactly what they were doing?! I'd like to keep coming so perhaps I'll give them another shot. read more

They can always get me in fast, are very nice and attentive, I wont go anywhere else now!
