Cancer screening is done by them. Insurances won't cover that they don't tell you that so that's a $44 bill you'll get hit with at the end. They don't call the dental insurance that you have to see what they will cover and won't cover or when your last x-ray was so you'll do an x-ray and then you'll have to pay for all of that. Then the big one is they will say that they're gonna clean your teeth, but never clean your teeth and what they'll do is they'll just recommend a deep cleaning done which cost extra on two separate visits to do half of your mouth one time the other half of the other time, but they'll still charge you for a cleaning, even though they never even cleaned your teeth. I was in there a week ago the hygienist never cleaned my teeth, never did anything to my teeth, except for shove a pic between my teeth and gums to tell the helper how deep my pockets were and that I'm gonna need a deep cleaning. But in term, they'll charge your dental insurance the $82 for a cleaning that never happened or you'll be paying the $82 for a cleaning that never happened. But I'll definitely recommend these deep cleanings which is an extra couple hundred dollars per visit and it'll take two visits to get that done.. I even called my dental insurance and they confirmed that they were charged for a cleaning that never happened and they were never contacted about what procedures they would cover would not cover because the dental insurance company said if they had been contacted they would've told them that they would not cover an x-ray for me.

My mother had work done with Dr Hershman and scheduled me for a cleaning with her. I was around 16 at the time (this is 10+- years ago). As a young kid, my teeth werent spotless, but the aggressive cleaning by Dr Hershman was done with such a lack of care and aggressiveness that I remember it to this day. She would dig into my gums so roughly the pain was like 100/10. I told her I was in pain yet she seemed to not care and continue torturing me. No easing up, no local numbing, just HAMMERING away. I ended up ripping the pads from the arm rest's and leaving fingernail marks on it from gripping it so hard. Nightmarish experience, Ive had many cleanings before and after and NEVER had pain like that.
