Kevin has been my trainer for exactly 8 weeks now and he is awesome! I made the decision to get a trainer after my birthday to truly invest in myself. You can invest in your own skills and education, but the return is almost always indirect. But with a trainer, specifically Kevin, I gained 8 lbs of muscle mass and lost 8% body fat (approx. 13-lbs of fat) after 8 weeks of training with him. Also, at the start of my training, I had back pain (from past injury to T12) and knee pains (from under the kneecap). Through Kevin's program and coaching, my pain has been reduced to near 0 with full mobility -- like squatting all the way down and up with 200-lbs of weight on my shoulders with no knee pain. I would give a 1-star review to keep it from getting crowded, but it would be hard for me to not tell others about the good that comes out of this place. My mom is 70 and she's training with Kevin too! And the story is the same for her... knee pains - GONE. Back pains - GONE. One of the things I loved most was the atmosphere--it's an all-women's studio, which made it feel comfortable, supportive, and never overcrowded or overwhelming. All of the trainers are amazing--encouraging, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed. I especially appreciated how welcoming everyone was, no matter your fitness level. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to renew my membership due to what I initially thought was a minor walking injury I experienced in June. After an X-ray, my doctor said everything looked fine, so I continued working out at Peach Body with modified exercises. Toward the end of my membership, I even transitioned into personal training sessions with Cheli, which helped me tremendously. I had every intention of rejoining after my six-month membership, but I had a trip to Spain planned. When I returned, my knee still wasn't improving. I ended up seeing a new doctor and, after an MRI in January, found out I had a torn meniscus. Fast forward to February, I underwent meniscus arthroscopy surgery. I'm currently on the road to recovery (still in a full leg brace), but I'm hopeful and looking forward to rejoining Peach Body Studio in a few months once I'm fully healed. I would have never considered myself "overweight" but knew I needed to lose a few pounds. I've tried the traditional membership gyms but always found that I would lose interest or motivation. When I started inquiring about personal trainers, Mia was very prompt at answering. During our consultation I did a body fat scan and was shocked to find out that I was nearly 25%. We talked and I learned that it was less about the weight and more about body composition and fat/muscle percentages. Due to my work schedule we were able to meet twice a week for an hour a session. Mia adds good variety to our workouts and I definitively know that I push myself more during our sessions that I normally would have if I were doing the workouts by myself. So I booked a DEXA scan, RMR test, and VO2 max assessment -- and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made on my health journey. From the moment I walked in, Kim made me feel completely comfortable. She openly shared her own health journey, which immediately put me at ease. There was zero judgment -- just understanding, encouragement, and genuine care. And then there's Brian -- my numbers guy. A skill I never mastered. He lives in the data in the best possible way. For example, there was a May "bingo" challenge to fill up the entire bingo card with different small goals & prizes for participants. My meal logs were accessible to the owner, Fani, & her team to help me stay accountable, my body was measured using measuring tape at the beginning and end of my time there, and my body metrics were analyzed using a body composition scale.
