    Stroganoff (chicken)

Love this spot with all the food trucks. There's multiple things for everyone. It's a nice vibe with lots of seating throughout and places for all kinds of tastes. Da Brazilian Braddahs has a great selection of food. We tried the stroganoff and it was tasty. Herbert was awesome and super helpful! Great chatting with him. The only real issue we had was with the portion size of the meat and sauce. Wish there was more! But that could be more of a personal things-Worth a try!

    Chicken cacciatore was fantastic

Oh man!  This food truck rocks!  Ate their food three times from Waianae, not Kahuku.  It's a truck...so it's mobile but there's only one Yelp listing... Ate the chicken stroganoff twice and sauteed ono once.  Wifey had hamburger steak twice and loco moco once.  All were delicious!  The owner clearly loves to cook and is very helpful and friendly.   Super glad the operate out of Waianae frequently.   Have to admit that I am sad I didn't have their food for our final O'ahu 2024 dinner.   But, I do know where I will be eating frequently upon my next trip to O'ahu

This Brazilian Braddah makes yummy food. I have had feijoada once before and loved it. I had to get it again when I saw it on the menu. I called it to place the order to avoid a wait and thankfully he said he had 1 portion left. It was awesome and even better than the one I had earlier. The chef was super friendly and welcoming. Easy 5 stars!

Beef stroganoff (custom without mushrooms as I can't stand them) and it was da bomb!!!

Food was awesome! I had beef stroganoff and I can't wait to come back and try it again. Stop reading and start eating this stuff soon.

i forgot the name, but it was delicious!

We came to this food truck 2 nights in a row. That's how much i loved the food here! The guy was super nice and made sure his foods are good. There were other food trucks in the area but some are either closed early or non-operating. Would've loved to try other food trucks but this one is definitely will be a repeat when we're in the north shore of O'ahu.

Stopped by with our Brazilian friend who said she had been here before! She ordered for us as we had never had Brazilian food before. Let me tell you, the food and service were amazing!!! The guy taking our order was friendly and funny and got our order out quickly. The food was soooo yummy and I absolutely cannot wait to come back. If you are unsure of what to get, just ask the owners/employees and they will guide you in the right direction. Thank you for the amazing food and laughter.

    Catch of the day

Big bonus this food truck stays open until 8-8:30pm, I had the catch of the day and it was excellent! They had marlin. The seasoning is great the rice and salad sides very a nice touch. Highly recommend trying this food truck!

My boyfriend and I came to spend our vacation in Hawaii. I am Brazilian and after hearing a lot of good comments about this food truck I couldn't help but try it. I can say for sure this place has authentic and delicious Brazilian food. The owner is super friendly and the food is excellent, so it is definitely a must have when you're on the north coast. Trust me it's so worth it.

    Surf & Turf so ono!!!
    Essie K.

SO ONO! Brother works hard back there making delicious fresh food. The surf and turf was excellent. Super flavorful and a big portion! Must be a 6 - 8 oz steak in there cooked the way you want. Shrimp was bomb - not all soaked in butter but light and fresh tasting. He's a one man show so be patient, be respectful of small biz. Call before you go to make sure he's open since the man deserves a break once in a while. If he's not open he's taking a little time for himself so be kind.

    Stroganoff

We are staying in Laie and we needed to grab food since there isn't anything open in Laie we ended up going to Kahuku and the area with food trucks only a few were open. There is ample amount of parking. So we came here never actually had Brazilian food so I'm not sure how it's supposed to taste my dad got the surf and turf and my mom and I shared the stroganoff. It's not your usual stroganoff that you think of with noodles and beef theirs is chicken with a cream sauce the only comment is the chicken was dry and tough I didn't even realize it was chicken from it being so dry. The shrimp was good the sauce had a little kick to it, but the steak was ok a bit tough. My dad doesn't like olives and egg whites and they put it in their Mac salad. Kinda wish we choose the Feijoada since someone said it was a short rib stew and it was good.

Had steak, shrimp and stroganoff. Everything was delicious. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. Thank you!

This place is great because there are some different options that you can't get anywhere else, like condensed milk and Brazilian milk powder (leite ninho) which supposedly makes it creamier. We weren't adventurous enough to try those though and just stuck with the basics, but maybe we'll try those next time. We ordered the sunset blend with goji berries and two build your own bowls. My daughter loved her bowl of just the açaí base and strawberries and peanut butter, hold the granola. She said it was one of the best she's had! My husband loved his as well with almond butter, honey and strawberries. He said this was one of his favorites along the north shore. My sunset bowl was very good as well. My favorite bowls have the tangier fruits like passion fruit, but for a basic bowl this really hit the spot. It's a cute little place with a good vibe next to Foodland in the strip mall. It looks like it has great food options as well that we'll have to come back and try some other time. But if you're wanting a great açaí bowl, this is your place!

Crispy Grindz in Haleʻiwa has quickly become a spot I recommend, mainly because of their pao de…read morequeijo. They make them in a unique way, pressing the dough on a waffle iron so the outside comes out crispy and crunchy while the inside stays chewy. The four-pack is the way to go--plenty for one person and shareable for two, but I wouldn't try splitting it beyond that because you'll definitely want more than one for yourself. I've also tried the coxinha and the ham and cheese pastel, which were good, though not as much of a standout as the pao de queijo. Everything is served very fresh, so fresh in fact that I burned my mouth on the pastel because of the steam pocket inside, so it's worth letting things cool a little before biting in. Seating is all outdoors at picnic tables with umbrellas, and while there's usually space available, you might need to share a table if it's busy. There's no cooling, so it can get hot during the day even with the shade. Parking is on the street out front. I've never had trouble finding a spot, but pulling in and out can be tricky if there's traffic going by. Overall I'd give Crispy Grindz 4 stars. The pao de queijo alone makes it worth stopping for, while the other items I tried were good but not the best I've had. I haven't tried the bowls or other menu items, so I can't comment on those, but if you're in the area the pao de queijo is something I definitely recommend.

The acai was not as sweet as I'm used to, which is a personal preference. The acai was a bit watery though so it was a bit hard to eat. The vibes were overall good here though, the truck is kinda like a surf truck. Like how they feature local surf news and riders. The service was also good as well, workers were very nice and we didn't have to wait too long for our acai. Not bad at all, but not the best acai in Haleiwa or on island.

He boldly went up to the vendor and asked for a sample which I embarrassingly looked away but he was given a piece (hey, closed mouths don't get fed) and he was immediately set on getting something from here. He got the ribs plate, I was $35 and came with salad, rice, and fries. It took a while for it to be ready, like 30 minutes, but I do understand as when it came out, it was literally a GIANT rib piece. He cut the meats off the rib and started nawing on it like a cave man. It was a very enjoyable experience for him, although, it was clear that the meat was a bit chewy and tough. The chewiness and toughness was a big let down for sure, as for all the meat that he cut off from the bone, they were all very hard to eat. HOWEVER, it was very flavorful, so I guess it is the trade-off from the way they smoke/cook it. We also added a chorizo, it was flavorful and juicy, obviously much easier to eat. The fries were good, some pieces soaked up the meat flavor which was yum. The salad was underneath the meat and got sooo greasy I couldn't eat it, the tomatoes were good though. Overall, I feel like the ribs plate was super worth it. However, you just have to be ready to put your teeth and jaw through a bit of a battle.
