Steak and garlic shrimp, potato salad, pasta and corn.

The food is absolutely delicious! We were there a few weeks ago and bought one takeout plate. Turns out that you need to buy 1 plate per person. You have options of side dishes. We got the pasta and potato salad (which is made fresh daily)

Amazing spot! Easily 5 stars! Owner is a great guy and the food is freshly cooked and full of flavors. The atmosphere is great by the lake!

Chances are that you've drove past here multiple times heading to the north shore and didn't even know multiple businesses exist there because I sure didn't! I didn't even know there was a lake behind that building either. They're located in school field barracks in wahiawa in those one story red building to the right hand side. You can pull in and there's parking in front or just go around the corner for the additional stalls if it's full. The restaurant itself is open air but covered dining if that makes sense. What I really like about it is that they're dog friendly! They'll even bring them water if you dine in with them, but I usually carry my own. It's such a chill area to just hang out. Most people took their food to go, but I decided to stay awhile for the chill vibes. Ordering was quick and easy. I got a steak and shrimp plate which came with two sides and noodles or rice. I opted for the salad and potato salad for $1 up-charge. The total was about $22 for a pretty hefty plate. Service was really friendly and I must go back to try other items on the menu!

Super delicious authentic Brazilian food! Jaqueline was very helpful and helped me to choose the plate and sides as it was my first time here. My husband and I had the plate with picanha, pasta with garlic, potato salad and vinaigrette and it was a lot of delicious food with an amazing view! Can't wait to come back! Aloha!

I found Kabana Grill through a Yelp search when my go-to steak place in Wahiawa closed for good. Really loved the taste of everything I received and also received a free order of very moist brownies when I spent more than $15 (received the offer through Uber Eats). I will definitely be back!

Picanha steak plate with garlic cheese bread. Hole in the wall must try....

Hole in the wall must. Tasted amazing. If you don't know where to go I would suggest it here right by Schofield you should get the picaniha steak pretty rare to get that in Hawaii. The weight was bearable but worth it try this steak.

    The Brazilian staple

As a natural born Brazilian this food is 100% authentic and makes my time in the military away from home so much better. They have all the staple Brazilian food anyone can ask for, even guaraná! I'm very grateful this restaurant exists, can't put it into words. The kitchen is very clean and the seating area is very calm and relaxing, great place to sit and eat or take to go. The owners are very friendly and know what they are doing when it comes to Brazilian food. I'm

Sausage plate with pasta, green salad and vinaigrette
    Meredith S.

Delicious and flavorful. Dennis and Mo who are the workers are very pleasant. We had the sausage plate today but also tried the chicken plate as well. Big portions, so expect leftovers. There is a seating area if you choose to enjoy your meal there. Free parking is also available. Definitely coming back! Gracias Mo & Dennis for providing exceptional customer service and quality and delicious food. - Meredith from Mililani

The perfect little getaway to eat Brazilian BBQ.

We ordered at the counter and then sat at a table to wait for our order. We had a short wait because we came in on the earlier side of the dinner hour. We tried the bean and cheese pupusa, pollo asado and steak fajitas along with a couple of sodas. With tax and tip and because we paid with credit card it came out to over $70. Definitely on the pricier side, but all of our food was fresh and tasty, and the portions are large- we had plenty of steak and rice left. If you're not familiar with Salvadoran food, it's a lot more subtle in terms of flavors. Don't come in thinking of bold, in your face flavor. Perfect for people who are sensitive to spice. I believe this is the only Salvadoran spot on Oahu - happy we got to try it out!

I would have liked it better as a plate if they added black beans, cream and cheese on the side. The good thing is I could have ordered those as sides. My daughter in law loved the empanadas. I tasted it and it was better than I expected and it had mucho sabor (flavor). Curtido was not as hot(taste) For dessert we ordered horchata which was surprisingly amazing!!!!!! And the churros were even better! Hot, sweet and filled with yummy goodness! Bathroom is extra clean! No changing table. Pretty happy with this place. If you need Salvadorean food in Hawaii this will scratch your itch for it pretty good.

The acai was not as sweet as I'm used to, which is a personal preference. The acai was a bit watery though so it was a bit hard to eat. However, the amount of toppings was very generous and the fruits were good. The portion didn't really seem worth it for the price though. The vibes were overall good here though, the truck is kinda like a surf truck. Like how they feature local surf news and riders. The service was also good as well, workers were very nice and we didn't have to wait too long for our acai. Not bad at all, but not the best acai in Haleiwa or on island.

They make them in a unique way, pressing the dough on a waffle iron so the outside comes out crispy and crunchy while the inside stays chewy. The four-pack is the way to go--plenty for one person and shareable for two, but I wouldn't try splitting it beyond that because you'll definitely want more than one for yourself. I've also tried the coxinha and the ham and cheese pastel, which were good, though not as much of a standout as the pao de queijo. Everything is served very fresh, so fresh in fact that I burned my mouth on the pastel because of the steam pocket inside, so it's worth letting things cool a little before biting in. Seating is all outdoors at picnic tables with umbrellas, and while there's usually space available, you might need to share a table if it's busy. There's no cooling, so it can get hot during the day even with the shade. Parking is on the street out front. I've never had trouble finding a spot, but pulling in and out can be tricky if there's traffic going by. Overall I'd give Crispy Grindz 4 stars. The pao de queijo alone makes it worth stopping for, while the other items I tried were good but not the best I've had. I haven't tried the bowls or other menu items, so I can't comment on those, but if you're in the area the pao de queijo is something I definitely recommend.

The bowl also included honey and I had the option of no honey, honey or agave. I just got the large bowl for $16.90. They do offer two sizes and I was very happy to see the calorie information on the menu. It was ready in about 5 minutes. There are tables there with a nice view of Wilson Lake but I took mine to go. When I returned to my office I dug in. Everything was perfect! Bananas, strawberries and blueberries were all nice and ripe. I did appreciate the amount if banana. The acai was nice and cold and had the right amount of sweetness. I ate it all and really enjoyed it. I deducted a star only for the price. It's definitely higher than other places I've seen but I will definitely return again, just maybe not too often.
