The food was very mediocre do the price. I got the mix grill with corn as the side and the salad for the side. The meat wasn't anything special. This is a hidden gem and a must-visit when you're in the area! We stopped by on the way to another spot and it didn't disappoint. Parking was a small lot and there's a small patio in the back to sit and eat, the space is shared with other businesses. During warmer days though, watch out for the mosquitoes since there's a big lake on the other side of the patio. We got the picanha plate and the picanha & shrimp plate. The price is a bit steep at around $20 per plate which is understandable given the circumstances but the quality of the food far exceeds the price. The picanha was cooked perfectly and we couldn't leave the parking lot without eating a good amount first. The shrimp was also super flavorful and cooked well where the shells were crispy and easy to digest. The salad was fresh and the sauces paired with everything only highlighted the items even more. One of the plates even came with a side of beans and I'm indifferent towards beans,, but the flavor for this was so worth it. Upon first bite, I could tell that all of this was made with so much care. The beans even had bits of meat inside and it wasn't just majority fat. Chances are that you've drove past here multiple times heading to the north shore and didn't even know multiple businesses exist there because I sure didn't! I didn't even know there was a lake behind that building either. They're located in school field barracks in wahiawa in those one story red building to the right hand side. You can pull in and there's parking in front or just go around the corner for the additional stalls if it's full. The restaurant itself is open air but covered dining if that makes sense. What I really like about it is that they're dog friendly! They'll even bring them water if you dine in with them, but I usually carry my own. It's such a chill area to just hang out. Most people took their food to go, but I decided to stay awhile for the chill vibes. Ordering was quick and easy. I got a steak and shrimp plate which came with two sides and noodles or rice. I opted for the salad and potato salad for $1 up-charge. The total was about $22 for a pretty hefty plate. Service was really friendly and I must go back to try other items on the menu! read more

My group of 10 (age ranges 5-83, with multiple food allergies) showed up hungry on a Tuesday road trip between Christmas and New Year's Eve. One of the owners was working seemingly by himself that night, so lucky for us, he was able to tell us the exact ingredients of things. Gluten intolerant folks should avoid the sausage as I believe that is made elsewhere. But his ingredients were so simple, so real, no pre-made spice mixes, just real food but the magic know-how of a Brazilian. It was SO DELICIOUS. Everyone in my group was so pleased with their selection. It is EXACTLY what I had hoped to eat that night, and I was thrilled my picky 5 year old twins found their meal delicious too. I had a 3 meat combo so it was shrimp, steak, and chicken over rice with sides of green salad and corn. The steak was the best (I'm now inspired to investigate Brazilian steak tutorials) but everything was absolutely divine. We had a quiet night together on the porch, overlooking the lake. Man! I was skeptical about ordering this place from Uber Eats. I've never heard of it and it looked average. They need a Social Media person who can take pictures to show just how freaking good this food really is! Super impressed. I'm usually so disappointed with Uber Eats once it's delivered cold and soggy but even though it wasn't hot due to delivery time, it was SO YUMMY!! Best potato salad on island. Brazilian husband wanted to eat food from home that was close by. The food was tasteless - didn't even seem like the meats were seasoned nor was the feijoada. We also ordered linguica (sausage) and instead of getting a whole sausage, we got shavings of it - literally looked like they took a potato peeler and passed it on their sausages because when we saw the plate, there were 5 shavings of a sausage, looking like shriveled up pieces of bacon. Beware portions are small - and you'll notice it when you feel the weight of your plate...could probably get a mini plate from L&L at a cheaper price that's better seasoned.
