For size comparison here are the dumplings.

Ordered from this restaurant because it was recommended. Turned out to be too little food for too much money. The portions and content were WAY off what I ordered. A large Egg Foo Young was two patties. Most restaurants do not have small or large, it is just THREE patties with sauce. Not here! Two patties served in a carton is a large. No sauce on the side, either. A pricey order of boneless spareribs came in a small (dumpling-size) container and was on top of a bed of broccoli (not in the description) instead of the meat I paid for. Ordered two specials with fried rice, and tried to have allergens removed. Was told fried rice for specials was made in advance so changes to content for allergies was not possible. Got white rice instead and wonder if customers know fried rice is made in bulk instead of fresh to order. Would not order from here again because the food is overpriced for the amount that they deliver. I've never seen portions so small for common dishes or so much unwanted filler added. For the same money spent at any other restaurant we'd have another serving of Egg Foo Young and four more servings of spareribs. NEVER AGAIN.

I am giving the restaurant 5 stars for the food & delivery 0 stars. Whomever they used for delivery, delivered my food to my next door neighbor. Luckily my husband was waiting by the window & ran out to ask if it was Da Chen. Driver said yes & told US to get it ourselves. REALLY? I tipped $15. I wish I did not tip on the app. He would have gotten $0 from me. My husband yelled at the driver & made him get our food back from the neighbors. I will not be lazy & I will pick up my food next time. But anyways.. I remembered to take some pictures this time! Second time ordering from here. Food was still yummy like the first time I ordered. Hot & sour soup: Soup was filled with tofu, bamboo, mushroom, egg, chicken & pork strips. It was good! The vinegar smell did not over power the soup unlike other places I have tried. Four seasons: filled with so much meat! I would say the dish is comparable to a KUNG PAO dish. It was yummy! Twice cooked pork: pork was not dry even though it's cooked twice. Lots of cabbage with some mushrooms & bell peppers. Nice flavors. Had to order the house special fried rice again. Dad loves it. He took a whole quart for himself. LOL.

Once again another great meal. They never disappoint. This particular Friday night the place was unusually packed. Even though they only had two servers (one actually working phone and being the cashier) they did an amazing job! At times they we're running from one table to another. Great customer service.

5 star rating based on what this business is - a local, old time Chinese restaurant which has been in the area over 20 years serving locals and many of the people who work at Boeing who fill the place at lunchtime. The food is always great. The service is always great. You still get that free pot of tea. They make all of the Chinese restaurant staples. What I have noticed in the last few years is they have branched out with their specials, incorporating different ingredients and cooking styles while retaining the Asian flair. Their prices are great. Worth a stop in if you are in the area.

Apparently it's Chow Mein.

They got our order so wrong lollll not worth the $$$$$$$$. My boyfriend ordered chow mein and got just vegetables (see below). We got extra plain rice that we didn't order. I asked if there were crackers and they said no but there were. The vegetables didn't taste fresh. The only good things (each deserving of a star) were the fried rice and fortune cookies. To be seen if they are accurate. Will report back if I get that call from my long lost uncle.

Tea

The tea did not reach my standards. I am very disappointed in it. It tasted artificial. Recommend bringing extra sugar

Great food at a great price..everything's good The lobster…read moredishes are most noble portions!

Since moving to Delco just over six years ago, there has been a part of me that is slightly…read moredisappointed. This isn't because of a lack of good Chinese places to eat, but because after living in Philly for many years before that, I have come to expect a certain something when I am looking for a quick and easy pick up from a corner store Chinese food joint that simple doesn't seem to exist down here. Well, apparently, that wait has finally ended for me, and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm not entirely sure how this place was overlooked by myself and my family for six years, but Hong Kong checks all the right boxes, and now that I know it's there, tucked away in a faded and overgrown strip mall on Chester Pike, it will be in heavy rotation. The secret to corner store Chinese food isn't a heavy variety, volume of food, or even that the staff is friendly. All that helps, but the real value and charm from places like these comes from the core selection of dishes that they do, they execute perfectly; full of flavor, served piping hot, at a great price, time after time, at a wide range of hours during the day. Deciding to go with lunch specials, which were very reasonable, each comes with a soup and a pretty hefty portion of your choice of dish, served with either pork fried rice or pork loin mein. My wife went with her staple test meal of General Tzo's chicken and Wonton Soup. She said both impressed, and while I enjoy those, they're not my go-to. However, they were delicious. I instead chose the Szechuan Chicken with lo mein and also the egg drop soup. This is where I knew I had finally found the place that we had been searching for, for so long. The egg drop soup is perfect....and I mean perfect. It is delicious, with great consistency, and at the same time, is no frills, and you can see that it is clearly made by hand. Nothing from a bag here! The only reason Hong Kong has lost a star is because what I received was definitely what I would have called Hunan chicken. Finished in a spicy brown sauce, rather than a traditional red pepper Szechuan sauce, it was still absolutely delicious and hot, perfectly cooked with a great ratio of chicken to vegetables! If you are in the area, especially if you live nearby, do not skip on Hong Kong Chinese. It may not look like much. You may not be greeted on the phone that well, and I'm pretty sure you have to pay in cash. But sometimes that's exactly what you're looking for and what you want when all you really need is perfectly prepared quick Chinese for a great price that will make your stomach happy and make you smile with satisfaction.
