That experience consisted of needles placed throughout my back, a heat lamp for 20 minutes, and some topical cream afterward. Unfortunately, I experienced no noticeable relief. My experience with Dr. Ro was completely different from the very first appointment. She immediately identified my specific pain points and took a much more targeted, hands-on approach to treatment. She uses a combination of techniques, including injections directly into the affected areas, followed by the placement of smaller acupuncture needles that remain in place for approximately 20 minutes. What impressed me most was how individualized and focused her treatment was. Rather than a generalized approach, she concentrated on the areas actually causing my pain. Except for some weeks, I have been here in Garden Grove , from Lake Forest, 1x a week for almost every single week for the last 3-4 YEARS. He is absolutely worth the drive !! I go in the afternoon and it takes me 1 hour to get there and then another 45 minutes home. He is worth it 10000% every single time. He has removed the nerve pain in plantar fascitis (which i healed from with PT in 2025). He has address joint pains from my lifelong chronic disease of lupus. He has addresses chronic migraines and headaches. He has pretty much helped shape and improve my quality of life immensely and I recommend to anybody looking for acupuncture to please go in to Dr. Han (the only doctor and the greatest good doctor) at Seoul Acupuncture. He uses a TENS style cupping machine as well as needed, a manual cupping system on your back and then acupuncture/needles you on your back. Then he flips you over and addresses primarily fingers and toes along with other areas of your front. They give you hospital gowns and will give you basketball shorts if you come in longer pants. They have nice heat and heat lamps and blanket sheets as well. His style is TCM pulse acupuncture and he is very good at his job. He will also teach students at acupuncture school as an intern style position.

This one was like cupping, massage, and e-stim all in one. It was fabulous! After cupping, Dr inserted needles while I was still on my stomach. After some time, he instructed me to turned over and he inserted needles while I was on my back. I thought I had escaped having needles in my feet, which I was very scared but he added them during this last phase, and honestly, I was shocked that it didn't hurt as much. He's a very good, conscientious man with professional integrity and fits people in where he can, I literally called him yesterday and his like come tomorrow! My session took 2 hours. I endured it for 5 days and could not take it anymore. I contacted Dr. Cho to see if there was an appointment for the same day and she was able to squeeze me in. After tons of needles and Dr. Cho trying to isolate the part that is causing the pain, she was able to alleviate my symptoms.
