I have pain in my left heel. We weren't sure the cause of this condition. Dr Ro used acupuncture to try to help heal my heel pain. + The staff are nice and professional. ++ Medical insurance works very well here. + In addition to needles, they use TENS machine, cupping, and athletic tape. - For one visit, we struggled to locate the pain point since my heel pain is more difficult to trigger in the morning. Once we found it, I asked her if she'd like to take a photo of that spot so it's easier to find next time. She responded "Or you can work on the pain." Not sure the helpfulness of that response. - For one of my visits, Dr forgot to remove a needle, so I walked out with a needle still stuck in my calf. Realized it halfway walking to my car, so I walked back and asked them about it. She quickly removed it. - The medicine discounts posted around the walls are expired. I pointed this out to the staff, but the posters are still there. . They don't have xray machine, which can help determine source of pain. + Pleasant, quiet ambience. Later on, I visited a PCP who, without equipment (xray), diagnosed tendonitis and recommended me stretching exercises. I requested medical records for my son and was told there was a copy fee. However, the copy fee was not disclosed. Once I arrived, the printing fee was finally disclosed. For printing out of four black and white pages I was charged $25.50. I do not recommend this office. As the fee is high, the documents weren't ready when I arrived and I watched her print out the documents in under a minute. No invoice was provided prior to pickup. read more

I have been coming to Dr. Ro for about two years now. I originally came in with sciatica so bad that I could barely walk or stand up straight. She was able to see me very quickly and is very professional and friendly, as is all of the staff. The office is nice and soothing, and they have soft music playing during the sessions. Dr Ro and her staff are the best! I started with Dr Ro Match 31, 2025 after suffering from an exercising injury. I swore off any meds or (if it would have been necessary) surgery, fortunately surgery would not be an option just a lot of acupuncture and eventually physical therapy, I am almost back to being able to walking normally. Aside from the clean and welcoming environment, and the genuine kindness Dr. Ro exudes, the sticking point is in three acupuncture sessions I have gone from walking hunched over and with a pain level of 9 to playing tennis again. Dr. Ro spent quality time inquiring about my pain and ascertaining what areas were contributing to or causing the pain. For me it is a bulging disc at the L4-L5 area causing spinal stenosis resulting in sciatica pain. I exhausted time with chiro and PT first, as that's the path that insurance prescribes. They both honestly made my condition worse even though I have previously had success using them for other injuries. I initially came in with a pain level of 11 out of 10, and after a few sessions I was able to sleep at night without waking up to intense pain running down my right leg and lower back pain. The care and specialized treatment from Dr. Ro is nothing but extraordinary. Prior to trying out acupuncture, I had been in and out of hospitals where they would prescribe pain medication and topical cream to mask the pain. The longer I continued to take the pain medication, the shorter the duration before the inhibitors wore off and I would begrudgingly have to welcome back the pain. I had a few sessions so far with Dr. Ro this past few months and wanted to leave a review based on my visits. I am usually a bit hesitant to try new acupuncturist but since my last acupuncturist retired I'm glad to find new one to heal some of my nagging injuries. I've been dealing with chronic lower back pain and sciatica which has been more problematic while working as a bed side nurse. Dr. Ro will get a baseline assessment and blood pressure for new patients such as myself. She focuses on those areas of concern but also find trigger points leading up to my sciatic pain. For instance, I have tightness in other areas of my body that starts from my neck, leading down my shoulder, mid back, and hips. Dr. Ro will find trigger points and target those as well. In addition to the needles, she also goes out of her way to add electric therapy and cupping to the treatment. For me it's like having an itch I can't reach or scratch. Dr. Ro does an exceptional job finding those itch. The tightness and pain definitely gets better after each visit. I leave feeling relaxed, alleviated, and ready to face another week of work.
