Let me start of by saying how clean this place is. As soon as you walk in you begin to feel a sense of relaxation. Although small, you can feel that this will be a positive thing for your recovery as Dr. Han will never have more than 2 people at his office at a time. I woke up one day with my face droopy on Jun 4th 2021. I took two pictures and I shared the dates that I took those pictures. I came across Hoa Da Acupuncture because I had read that acupuncture was good therapy for Bells Palsy. I was hesitant at first to try this therapy but I did because my parents pushed me to trying it. The doctors did not prescribe anything for Bells Palsy besides steroids to relieve inflammation to my nerves. I started therapy with Dr. Han I believe on the 18th of Jun and I saw immediate results that I decided to go for the full therapy. Dr explained that the more times I come to the office the better my recovery time. I've gone to acupuncture approximately 7 visits and I share my results which is at approximately 85% recovery. Dr. Hoa is such an excellent doctor. He treated my wife and I for some time. My wife had tried other acupuncture places before finding this gem all the way here in Westminster. Even though is quite a drive for us, coming all the way from Rancho Santa Margarita, but the results are well worth it. Prices are REALLY good! Treatment is excellent. Dr. Hoa's medical knowledge is also excellent. He will take the time to explain everything to you, before starting any treatment. He will not push you or pressure you into anything. The treatment really works, but you do have to give it time while your body starts changing. Be patient, but be sure that the treatment will work. It worked on my wife and I. He will also recommend some herbs that he sells, but he won't push you to buy any! Please call in for an appointment, specially during these weird times. Parking is ok, could get busy. I got bell's palsy 4 months ago. My facial muscles on the affected side are completely paralyzed...a severe case of bell's palsy. My friend took me to try laser treatment but after 2 weeks my face still looking really bad. It didn't seems to work at all. I went online to look for an acupuncture near by and was very lucky to find Hoa Da. After the first treatment I felt much better. Seems like something were released after it being stuck for a long time. After that day I couldn't wait to do it again so I come every time the office is open. My face is 95% back to normal now so I don't have to come that often anymore. I love going to Hoa Da that I won't even try other acupuncturists when they are closed. I have sciatic pain along with some other nerve pain, so I go when I need it. Dr. Han was extremely helpful and provided some suggestions to help ease pain. He's not even pushy about acupuncture use at all. His wife at the front is also sweet. Plus, their balm oil is awesome! I had long term back pain, and muscle tightening around my shoulders so bad my left arm would go numb. I've tried massages and a lot of pain killers and nothing solved the problem until I came here. Dr. Kevin Han, and his wife Laura, are so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. She runs the front office, and is an Herbalist, while Dr. Han takes incredible time with each patient. Takes your pulse and blood pressure EVERY TIME. He listens to all of your stated symptoms, then cleanses the areas he treats. RARELY have I felt the needles go in, as he is so gentle and quick at the same time. What sets him apart from other Acupuncturists, is that he puts a heat lamp on the needles to encourage nerve and muscle relaxation. After about 15-20 minutes, he removes the needles, and follows up with a wonderful fragrant oil which he massages into the treated areas. PURE HEAVEN! I've been going to this place for 10 plus years, and I can honestly say Dr. Han has gotten rid of my sciatica with one, sometimes two visits. He is a REAL FIND. I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis for two years. I havnt been able to wear shoes in over 6 months. So far, this is the best Acupuncture place that I have been to. I am a manicurist and I work a lot using my hands for my job. I come here a lot to fix my wrist and arms issue due to over used my hands. One time, my wrist was swollen and couldn't hold a light plastic bowl. I came to get an acupuncture and the same day, I felt a lot better. Shortly after 1 day or 2 days, I am back to normal with no pain.
