SO GOOD. the service was great, they were friendly and had vegetarian options (tofu) for the poke bowls that was just as exquisite, please come here show them some love bc they are cookinggggg in there‍

This street can be busy, they might have parking in the back but I'm not sure. The place was empty when we arrived and shortly after a family of 3 walked in. The guy who took our order was very friendly, seemed like the owner and seems like a family owned business but also not 100% sure. I got the citrus salmon poke bowl, my bf got spicy ramen and fried gyoza. Unfortunately I wasn't very hungry to begin with so that was throwing me off a little but the flavors were nice! I wish there was more citrus to it though, maybe I could ask for more next time. The rice was a little too dry for my liking as well. The ramen was pretty good! Might try their other items next time since I'm not really a ramen person. IG: @ammysalamii

Big lot with plenty of parking in a busy shopping plaza. Walked right in and was out of there within 5 mins. The staff was helpful, fast, and nice. There were customers ordering and picking up and dining in. It's a typical poke spot with a few tables and a counter. Nothing special. I ordered the 2 protein bowl (blazin salmon and spicy tuna) with half brown rice and half veggies. I added a scoop of crab salad ($1 extra), imitation crab, seaweed salad, with house and spicy mayo sauce. It filled me up. The portion size was perfect for me and I was a happy camper. Delicious. I would recommend if you're craving poke.

The service and the food is such a highlight both equally. Let's start with the service! I know how annoying it must be when a customer comes in and is somewhat impaired lmao. Most service nowadays doesn't add that element of care into their interactions with people. They wanna clock in do their job and check out. I should've gotten his name but the young gentleman was incredibly respectful and trying to be kind. I was asking questions as I can't see the menu as well and though he was taken back by that...instead of being basic like other places. He really stepped up by walking me through the way it works. He probably could tell I was pretty tired too. The food is phenomenal, decent prices and variety to choose from. Will be my usual place and excited there's healthier food options around this area. Thanks for the kindness and delicious food that is making energized

This is one of the few Mitsuwa that doesn't have a food court (San Gabriel is another one without). The premade food section was surprisingly pretty good, better options than the Torrance or Santa Monica locations, imo. They do carry the same poke bowl that is also sold at Torrance. The store closes at 9:00pm, so the premade food section is pretty much cleared out and the self checkout is closed by around 8:00pm. The late hours actually got the busiest because only one staffed cash register was open and customers had to get in line instead of the self checkout. The store is clean and spacious, lots of self checkouts that are open during the day, and the bathrooms were clean (just need to get the code from a staff member!). I came three times on a weekday, once a little after lunch and another right around 5:30 and then around 8:00. Parking was a breeze every time. They have plenty of parking adjacent to the store. The other side of the shopping center gets a little busy, but Mitsuwa is at the comfortable corner closest to the train tracks. Getting out of the parking lot can be challenging because Tampa is a busy street and some people try to make a left turn out (I have my opinions about that lol). If heading out towards CSUN, the shopping center also has two exits out to Nordhoff so that worked well for me. I was in the area for a few job interviews... If I am hired nearby I'm definitely coming to this Mitsuwa a lot :)
