I had a good interaction with the two salesmen from dabella here in Nice California , these two young men represented your company well and explained and really showed me the value of your product , I also learned things that I didn't understand before after their explanation that made total sense. It took weeks and finally contacting the corporate customer service to get the dumpster picked up out of our driveway. Two pallets of siding and left over materials left blocking the driveway were never picked up; I finally arranged for Habitat for Humanity to remove the materials and had to pay for someone to remove the wood pallets. At 8:30 and 8:31 i got 2 phone calls from their "estimator" Jack Wiegle. he asked about the square footage of the home... 8 hrs before our appt.... and then intimated that I may not be able to afford the project. Jack called back an hour later urging me to cancel the estimate appt or he could be fired. I thanked Jack Wiegle for his service and cancelled the appt. Very bad, albeit hilarious, sales experience with Da Bella Very pushy sales tactics, bordering on confrontational, and all over the map pricing. First it was $39k, I say no, they come back 30 min later, "oh wait, now it's $23k" Am i bargaining for a tourist trinket on a tropical vacation? Does this work on other people? Night and day difference with the smaller family companies I've met since who are seasoned, professional, deeply knowledgeable, and give accurate pricing for the job. Oh and then there is the constant sales follow ups from the Texas office? Three times a day from various people trying to sell me windows, doors, siding, etc Comedy I've said im not interested and they keep calling I'm not even mad, it's truly hilarious how bad the Da Bella sales process is. This company targets elderly people relentlessly with extreme predatory behavior. My 93 year old neighbor was pressured into making a "free estimate" appointment, then she called me and asked me to help her cancel it because she didn't want it. I called and cancelled for her, but I kept an eye out at the appointment time anyway. Sure enough, the shady salesman showed up and I confronted him to tell him the appointment was cancelled and she does not want him there. He tried to go back and forth with me before finally heading back to his car, and I went into my house. A couple minutes later, he gets out and starts walking up again. I stopped him again and aggressively told him he is not welcome and needs to leave. He got back in his car again and waited, so I went into my elderly neighbor's house to wait for him to leave. The company then calls her house phone, so I answer and tell them to stop harassing my neighbor and leave or the police will be involved and hung up. ANOTHER salesperson showed up, and they stood outside their cars staring into the house to try to intimidate and/or wait for me to leave, so I called the police. They were spewing insults like the professional scam salesman they were until the cop showed up and told them to leave. This behavior is disgusting, vile, and probably how they are trained to act to pressure the elderly into signing overpriced contracts. This business should be shut down. I have submitted a complaint to the BBB and I will be contacting the Inspector General to ask for an investigation into these abhorrent sales tactics. Told the door to door sales rep I didn't need a "FREE" quote for new siding etc. Long story short I needed to leave as I was getting ready to leave for some errands and told him fine come back tomorrow. Well this is what happened (tomorrow November 13th) in the garage attic while inspecting the roof for moisture/leaks. Long story short they said since I was handy with projects I could submit a recipe for materials for a reimbursement ect. But that isn't how this should be handled... it should be repaired not by me, I don't have time! I've left multiple voice-mails regarding this issue after getting the typical runaround to other departments etc... I requested a roof replacement quote. A sales team showed up and did a thorough inspection including accessing my attic to check for leaks. Afterwards, the lead sales guy wanted to explain how they do things at Dabella. After 1.5 hours of their hard sell, I still had not received the quote I requested. I did receive multiple requests to schedule the work without a proposal outlining the scope of work. After five or six requests to produce this proposal, I asked them to leave my house. I found the experience very unpleasant. It reminded me of aluminum siding salesmen from the 1950s. I absolutely agree with other comments about high pressure tactics. read more

Dabella then proceeded to send a sales TEAM to do a hard sell with a 3 window minimum. They called me by the wrong name at the door. Didn't offer sort of identification when I was confused. Had to ask for the business card. When I explained what I wanted the sales team still tried to do a hard sell. I bought two roofs from DaBella. The installation was VERY rough and messy. They damaged my gutters in many place, shingles slid down windows, scratching them, plants and beds were damaged, rock walkways were broken, nails were left EVERYWHERE. Eight months later, I'm still finding nails outside where kids run barefoot. They clogged gutters. With the gutters, you don't know if they're damaged until it rains. Some things they fixed, but after that final piece of paper was signed, they do not care and will not fix any damage. Not that they fixed all the damage to begin with. Then they have the nerve to ask you to buy more from them. I was going to until they refused to fix a gutter that is sagging from their work. Don't let them into your house to fix anything! I need new windows. I already have 3 quotes. When their door to door guy stopped by, I figured one more quote can't hurt. I asked if they make their windows, because the 3 quotes I got were direct from the manufacturer or distributor & they said yes, they manufacture them here in Hillsboro. The guy actually tried to get me to believe that my original windows had been recalled a long time ago. This is such a dumb lie. They quit making this 1950s style of aluminum windows decades ago, but not recalled. I should mention here, that I am in the design & build business, so I know more about this stuff than most sales people will ever know. I told them I already have all the window dimensions, I just need to hand those off & they can email me a quote. They insisted on sending someone to look at the existing windows & how they are installed. They said it would take 60-90 minutes, I said I was too busy for that & would just show them a couple of the existing windows & hand them the dimensions, but could not waste that much time with the sales pitch. The next day, the sales person showed up, but would not just take the dimensions & quantities, she wanted to give me the full sales pitch. I really didn't want anyone coming in the house, but it was super cold & she seemed nice & not sketchy. I let her know I already had 3 other quotes, so I just need the pricing. I know all about vinyl windows. It turns out they DON'T make windows, so I immediately knew they could not beat my other 3 quotes, because they are buying & marking up the windows & then charging a ton for install. The 1st lie about them making their own windows is specifically why I agreed to let them give me a quote. When the quote came back at 4 times the average of my other 3 quotes, I said that I would have to pass for obvious reasons. And then just like a used car salesman, she called her manager to ask about discounts, if any other houses in the area are having installs done, so they could consolidate shipping/delivery costs, etc. They trimmed a little off, but it was still more than 3 times what I would pay the other window company, so she calls him back, they make up some BS about their marketing department just said that if they can take photos of the install & put a sign out front, it would shave a little more off. Keep in mind, this is a saturday & marketing is not working on a weekend. Now their price was still more than double my highest quote. At this point, I said that there is no way I am going to pay more for run of the mill vinyl windows than my highest existing bid, so please go so I can get on with my day. She was nice, she understood, I'm just sad that she has this crappy job that she probably doesn't enjoy. She left. Now DaBella calls me 2-3 times a day. How does a contractor grow so large with such sleazy & predatory business practices? It appears to be because they mostly target older folks who don't know anything about windows, roofs, etc & they lie to them about the hazards of their current (windows, roof, siding) & bully them into getting the work done. Do yourself a favor & read ALL of the reviews here, you will see a common thread. Didn't finish contract signing due to personal reasons . So I let them know that we would not be fallowing through with Several windows that we wanted fixed . I got told the appointment would last tops 90 minutes. Our appointment was at 2 , the meeting didn't end until almost seven and she sat in her car for almost an hour after . There was this text message I read after I woke up to the dogs barking it was a bunch of pushy texted messages and one that said hey are you home I have a gift for you I was asleep and woke up to the dogs barking and her walking away from the house . She texted that while I was sleeping I woke up to her walking away from the house. It freaked me out . The whole situation was shady. Now I got a letter saying our contract was canceled because of fiancé Decline and please allow 7-10 business days to refund deposit when they was not supposed to touch that account until 12 weeks at the very least because I needed to save for the deposit. Please do not trust this company it is a scam most definitely . They bait you in they have no morals or values and lie to get you to trust them . I did not fully sign Everything thing that process was not done plus she was waiting to hear from the financial department to okay everything. This is a Ponzi scheme. Honestly my husband wanted to give these guys a chance, but after the second visit, and the sales dude Connor Acting super aggressive and rude, I'm glad we didn't go with them. First visit was super unprofessional and awkward. We were told we would have someone come out at 10am on Saturday, two guys with no vehicle walked up to our house at 1029, when we mentioned that we had been waiting for them to show up at 10, no apologies at all, and they told us that they would take measurements, and I watched them take a measurement, and walk away. No call, no follow up until days later. Then, Connor And Samantha show up early to the appointment, and I went out to talk to them, to let them know my husband was not expecting them until 11am to go over their findings and I told them about the previous two guys that showed up late previously, and Samantha said "well we are early so..." That was super obnoxious, and like I told both of them...I just want them to show up on time.. That's not too much to ask. Then they measure the window, still early and my husband wasn't available until then, Connor goes on to a super scummy and cars salesman's pitch about how "he does good with yes, and does good with no's, but doesn't do good with maybes" This was VERY evident when he tried to force his way into my house to go over his findings, when I told him "no, I have dogs, I don't want you coming inside" and then when I told him it was not a good time, he took an even MORE of an aggressive stance towards me on my front porch and refused to leave my porch, (Samantha read the room and walked away) and he just kept glaring at me until finally he left .... Also, he told my husband that when the two other guys showed up previously, "we didn't answer" and actually when I told them what the guys looked like, it was proof that we were home.... Made the mistake of taking them up on a free inspection. The gentleman who did the inspection were very polite and did a thorough job, I told them we aren't in a place to do any work yet, but will reach out to them in the future when we are - maybe a year. Then, their company has called dozens times a day for the past month. I have told numerous telephone operators to put me on the do not call list. Then the next day, they call again. I've blocked multiple numbers from them, but they just call back with a new one. Absolute nightmare. Had they respected my decision and request to be on the do not call list, I would have gone with them when we are financially ready. But after this predatory behavior of calling every single day, even in the evening, I will never do business with them. If they knock on your door, do not answer. Should have been a clue to me, as I have a "no soliciting" sign and they still knocked. I was just in a good mood I guess, but they killed that for sure. 3.5 years later, I am still dealing with DaBella soliciting my elderly mother. The sales tactics of this company are unethical and gross.  A canvasser approached my mother and set an appointment for a quote for a new roof despite the fact that it is evident she does not have the capacity to handle such matters. I spoke with the canvasser via a camera; he immediately started in on his pre-scripted we're a family owned company pitch. I explained that we are not interested in a roof, that we've already been through this with DaBella and that he entered a property with a No Soliciting sign (the sign was at eye level next to the door he knocked on). His response was "never mind" and then he walked away.  When you call the local 971 number, you are sent to a call center in Texas. The call center does not have visibility into canvassers. I have no idea who was on my property.  I have made multiple demands to remove this property from DaBella's hit list.   The hard sales and scare tactics DaBella encourages their sales team to use are reprehensible. They prey on the elderly. Shameful. Go earn your money in a respectable manner and leave the community alone. read more

We recently had a visit from Dabella offering a free 60minute roofing estimate. We do need our roof done, so I allowed it. They wanted to come in and quickly go over their findings, I said ok. They went over the basics and then started trying to push me to make a decision. I asked them to come back when my husband was home, because he is the financial and I wanted him to hear all the info too. Jack the salesman, told me that in his experience that's a nice way of saying no and he'd like to stay and get an answer. He got here at 2pm and stayed for around 7 hours, it was 8:30pm when he left. As a female stuck alone with 2 men, I did not feel comfortable and felt like I had to sign to get them to leave. So I signed after making sure in the paperwork that it said i could still cancel with no penalty. I also didn't unfreeze my credit and gave them a bank card that had no money in it, all things I was being told I had to do. They did leave once my husband got home. I also felt like I couldn't turn my back to get anything done while they were here, because when I did turn my back to get food for my kids, I turned around and one of them had my 3yr old daughter sitting in his lap at our bar height table. The height is important to note because he had to pick her up she did not climb up. This is unacceptable to me. He tried telling us that they had the best warranties and best materials. The 6 other companies I've talked to, use the same materials and offer transferable warranties as well. Dabella wanted to charge us $62,000 while the other companies never went above $30,000. They are extremely pushy. We went to speak to our elderly neighbor because dabella had said they just closed with him. Our neighbor who is a veitnam vet, said he told them to go away and he had no soliciting signs. They wouldn't leave, he cussed and yelled and they banged on his window after he started walking away from the door so he was forced to yell at them again before they finally left. I would not recommend DaBella. Their subs work looks nice on our house and that is a positive. The sales team & customer service seem nice but they are extremely misleading in both times we work with them. Every time we called to follow up after our jobs were done to speak to our sales people, they both were mysteriously let go.The first time we had done we replaced our windows. We were promised framing and you wood around our windows, that did not happen. Not only did the subs have a day where they did a no call no show but my husband lost a day of work waiting on them. The day they did arrive, they refused to do the framing and said that was not part of the quote. The subs claimed a miscommunication & said that happened a lot. We told the company this and they did not provide much sympathy. They did not care that was part of our original quote and we had to beg for a little bit of money back, for the minimum of missing work to wait for subs. I wanted to speak to the sales people but they said they had been let go.We moved on & asthetically the windows look nice. However, it's absolutely freezing in the rooms, with the poor insulation around it for lack of the job done right. Years later we foolishly gave Dabella another chance. We happened to mention needing a new roof while the Bella was canvassing our neighborhood. We also have a no soliciting sign at our door, which they ignored both times they came to our property. Despite that, they talked us into a new roof, gutters, fascia, & went into a long presentation about our mold problem. When the subs came out they told us that a lot of our work was not necessary and the mold problem was not as bad as the company led us to believe. This was so questionable and disappointing, especially since we spent $30,000 & that was just the second time. Once again, I called in to talk to the sales people who came out originally and they were no longer at the company again. I also told them that our mold in our attic was still there on the insulation and they stated that they do not work with mold. What!? That was extremely infuriating since all this work was based on the fact that we had a devastating problem according to their sale people. Next comes Berry, He works the phones gets you setup for Inspection, measurements and a quote. Nice guy we had some fun messing with Austin. Then comes Braedon and Dakota, they measured and put a quote together. We spoke of options for my home discussed what the company was about, materials used and warranty's. These two seam to have all the answers to your questions. Again very professional, courteous, Knowledgeable and fun to talk with. I will say, although no deal was made the education was well worth the time, and i did not feel pressured. High pressure sales. I signed a contract and read the long contract after I signed (big mistake). I found the contract was opposite of what the salesman promised we would get. Idaho law gives you 3 days to cancel a contract before you're stuck in it. I canceled on the 3rd day. It had to be in writing and all these other rules. I hired a professional telegram company that understood all the Idaho laws to release me from the contract. The Telegram cost $371.00 but it saved us $23,000.00 and the potential of many headaches. If I would have read Yelp and Google reviews and Better Business Bureau reviews I wouldn't have signed the contract. BEWARE!!!!' read more

I had to cancel due to illness and they pressured me to reschedule within 4 days even though I had the flu. After reading some reviews I decided to not move forward with the estimate due to their high pressure sales tactics. When I called the second time on Monday to cancel I made it clear that they were not to come to my house or call me. Wednesday was New Years Day so I am sure they were closed but from Thursday to Friday they have called me six times. I haven't answered but this feels like harassment. He was contacted by door to door ppl within the last few days from this company. He of course played into the free estimate, etc. I got word of it and went over there, they were still doing the estimate. The 2 individuals i spoke to were Rashawn and Samantha aka Sam. I approached them to let them know he is elderly and fragile and Not in the right frame of mind to make decisions like this right now. They didn't seem to care. As a matter of fact lied to me several times by telling me things such as the elderly man had called them himself to set up the estimate. Which in fact he did not. They were going door to door. I live in the same neighborhood and the same company knocked on my door. They told me so many lies. I then told them you are only leaving with an estimate given to him for now. They didn't like that. Then tried using the same scare tactics on me as they did him about how bad parts of his house is. Does it need some work ? Yes. But he should have freedoms of choosing from at least 3 estimates. These ppl from this company ended up trying to strong arming me and the elderly into taking up so much of our time with the goal of him signing up. They were rude in the beginning but the gal, Sam ended up being nicer. Anyway, there are more things that were said especially by manager Rashawn that I don't want to type it all out. Let's just say I do not like ppl who are pushy like that. ESP when you lie. And especially when you can physically see and hear how fragile this elderly gentleman is! Gross! I have read other reviews on here that others have had the same problem with their elderly family member being targeted from this company. I realize they have a job to do but do better DABELLA. !!!! I'm so sad I didn't check Yelp before accepting the "free" quote. Here are my complaints: Don't start with a lie! The initial doorman said they were "doing work with my neighbor." After asking my neighbor, he confirmed he's never heard of DaBella. Don't act like a used car salesman. Examples: 1) quoting the price as a monthly fee, to make it sound affordable, at their 10% interest rate!, 2) offering me a new lower "sign-now" option, 3) calling their manager to get the "best price" after I've said no three times already. I've been getting constant robocalls about replacement windows. Over 50 calls day and night. I finally wanted to track down who was employing these overwhelming roboalls. So i answered yes i need a window repair estimate. Within 24 hours i was reached out to by Dabella for a window repair estimate saying i had filled out an online form which i never have. I would never use a company like Dabella who direclty or indirectly uses oversees robocalling. Its been overwhelming and constant. read more
