I appreciate it that they have washed my hands when I arrive. They also showed off the room where they sanitize all the equipment. You get to choose your scrub and lotion sent as well as your color. I was going to get the spa manicure but they were running late so I just got the basic one. The technician did a wonderful job on my nails. She made sure I was happy with the color before she painted them. She created a custom color based on what I was looking for. I would definitely come back the next time I need my nails done.

First they had to remove my previous manicure from my nails, which took a while but I did not mind because I'm trying to keep my nails healthy. My cuticles grow fairly fast, so they also needed to be trimmed, and during this, my manicurist nicked my cuticles on numerous fingers- causing them to bleed. The manicurist was aware of it and apologized throughout the appointment. The manicure also wasn't the cleanest job I've had either. She was still very apologetic for my cuticles, and gave me a coupon for my next visit to make it right, acknowledging that this is not a normal experience. Given all of this, I still really liked the service and would still consider going back.

I asked for a pedicure and SNS. I was immediately seated for a pedicure and started on promptly. The pedicure was the perfect length. Not too short, but not so long that I was over it. For the SNS- Although I had cut my own nails down to the length I wanted, they respected it and did a beautiful job! These are the most perfect, natural-looking nails I've ever had done. She actually built the nail up a bit with a natural SNS and polished it with gel which surprisingly feels so much better! Yet, no one seemed to care that I was going to have to wait at least 30 minutes. This was a Sunday afternoon, and they open at noon. I had received a confirmation from the salon for my appointment time. WHY would you start a client, knowing you have a fairly regular client coming in in 15 minutes? I live in Lexington, and I drove 25 minutes to get to the salon. I make appointments for a reason...I have other things to do. I do not show up late for them.
