Talk about a total professional and perfectionist! Anasheh…read moreis super welcoming and extremely sweet. I've had some pretty terrifying hair coloring experiences but after seeing her work, especially the before & after photos she's been posting, I knew I should give her a try. My roots had grown own a lot and I had about a million different shades in my hair. She asked me what my goal was and if I have any photos as example. I told her I wanted to go blonder and I want this brassy / orange look to be gone. I also showed her a photo I had found off of Pinterest. Usually when I ask for lighter roots and highlights the stylists do the highlights and then touch up the roots between the foils. But not Anasheh! She gave it to me straight. She was very honest about the fact that if she did that then I'll still have some discoloration and not an even blend. In order to achieve the color I wanted she had to color my roots and bring it down more, wash & dry, and then start highlighting. She told me to go with 7.11 level which is darker but will look lighter once highlights are added. She was so confident in the process in which she was describing that made me feel comfortable and confident to know I'm in great hands. And so we began. She colored my roots, I waited about 35 minutes. She washed and dried my hair and started on highlighting top half of my head. That process also took very quick. I waited another 40 minutes or so and then she washed my hair again. *drum rolls* moment of truth: I LOVE MY HAIR! Did I really just say that? I've never said that so passionately walking out of a salon. Anasheh literally brought my hair back to life. The color was exactly what I wanted and showed her in the photo. She is a true artist. The blending technique she used made my highlights blend in so well. I love love love my hair. I'm so happy I have found the right person got my hair. I'm forever going to her for my hair. Needless to say I highly recommend her :)

Because of her work, my hair is now long and healthy. Other people would do my blowouts and it would last only 2-3 months but with her, it's straight for 2-3 months and the frizz is going for 6-8 months. You can really see the difference between the treated hair and the top near the roots She's also done an ombre and redid my highlights a few times and I always get compliments. I have nothing bad to say about Anashe and would recommend her to anyone

Uh oh! A monster was created when I got this lovely new sew in and it's all thanks to stylist…read moreKergie at the Extended Beauty bar. I've added a new beauty routine to my arsenal and I don't think I'm ever looking back. The TikTok gods have a chokehold on me and convinced me to try the viral flipover sewin. I bought some nice bundles and needed a serious professional to install them for me. It had been nearly 2 decades since I've stepped foot into a salon and was happy when social media did me another solid and led me to EBB. I made it on time to my 1:30pm appointment and was greeted by the lovely Kergie who calmed my first time jitters with a mimosa (and she kept on bringing them through the entire appointment - I lost count after 4). She got me shampooed and trimmed me up (a major necessity after years of not seeing a stylist) and went over my hair health needs as well as my vision for the style I was going for. After a few hours of braiding, installing, and styling, I was a brand new woman. I absolutely loved the results and there is no better feeling than looking great once you step out of a stylists chair. Totally incredible experience over at Extended Beauty bar. Kergie absolutely killed it with my hair style and the customer service. I'm already looking forward to my maintenance appointment in a few weeks.

I really wanted to like this salon because I've seen great work from them, but unfortunately my…read morepersonal experience wasn't good. I drove an hour to get here for a curly sew-in, but the placement of the wefts was done poorly. The lengths don't flow well, and too much of my natural hair was left out at the top, which makes it hard to blend, not because of curl pattern, but simply because of placement. I paid $400 (bringing my own hair), and I left with a style I can't really wear out confidently. My bigger concern, though, was how my natural hair was handled. I have 4b/4c hair that requires being washed with lots of water, product, and detangled while wet. Instead, my hair was detangled dry, tugged through with a blow dryer and brushed from the root with little to no product. It was painful and damaging. The stylist also suggested I do a keratin treatment, calling it a "protein treatment," but a keratin treatment is actually a chemical process that loosens curls. I shared with her that I have past trauma surrounding my hair, so the way it was handled and the comment that my hair wasn't "manageable" felt hurtful. It left me feeling like there wasn't an understanding of how to properly care for my texture. On top of that, I felt like speed was prioritized over quality. The result was uncomfortable both during the appointment and after, and I may have to take this sew-in out much sooner than expected. I don't think this reflects the entire salon, since I saw other stylists doing beautiful work. But based on my own experience, I personally wouldn't return unless I was matched with someone who really understands and respects natural 4b/4c hair care.

Very rude and unprofessional salon. I waited 30 minutes…read moresimply to get pricing information. During that time, the stylist says she's busy go talk to assistant. the assistant doesn't know prices, she has to "look them up on her screen" and has to find her login password.. I wait then she.. gets a phone call, but she doesn't not put the phone caller on hold; instead, she prioritizes the call over an in-person guest who had already been waiting. At this point I'm just over it.. this salon has no basic service standards. So I write a short review. But the real issue is the salon manager, Cathy. See screenshot Rather than acknowledging the experience or taking responsibility, her response to my review was defensive, dismissive, and borderline hostile. She reframes the situation and even added a passive-aggressive comment along the lines of "too bad we can't review you." Wow! That last remark says everything about the culture here. Customer feedback should be met with accountability. A manager who responds vengefully instead of constructively tells you everything you need in how guests are valued. If this is how concerns are handled publicly, I would be very cautious about how problems are handled here about your hair!

The stylist was very knowledgeable about curly hair which I attribute to the cost of their service. I don't think I'd return for color again but will definitely return for the deva cuts. It could be helpful to give customers a rough estimate of the booked service so we get the chance to financially plan instead of being told the price once we're in the chair- at that point, I feel most customers could feel obligated to comply.
