I'm helping family members relocate and called this store to inquire about acquiring empty wine boxes for bottle packing. A staff member, Brandon, answered the phone & relatively quickly was able to confirm that they had a few empty boxes on hand that I could pick up. Brandon was friendly and helpful. Upon my arrival, I was greeted and after telling him why I was in store he hustled to the back of the store to get the boxes and carried them to my car for me. While waiting in store, I noticed it was well stocked and maintained. Prices are clearly labeled and there is a large variety of items in inventory. The overall feel of the store is like a warehouse -- like the Costco or Sam's Club of liquor stores. read more

Very conveniently located liquor store, now literally 5 min away from my house, but after only two times of visiting them, I decided I wouldn't mind driving the extra mile for better selection, and costumer service. The store seems so empty, and last I visited they had so many empty shelves. Two of the bottles we were looking for we couldn't find, and somebody was very annoying about asking what we needed. Idk dude, since you don't have anything in your store im gonna have to make up my mind and figure something out. Give me a break. Once we decided to cash out, the cashier wasn't very friendly. Wish she asked us if we found everything okay because I would've said something. I love the Cork and Bottle. This was my first bottle shop-in fact, on my 21st birthday I came straight here after work to make my first (legal) alcohol purchase. Overall they have a wide variety of inventory, carrying both the more traditional beers, wines, and liquors, to local and harder to find brands. My family is Canadian and my mother's side is Danish, so seeing a diversified stock of liquors from both countries is appreciated tremendously (especially Danish vodka, that is hard to come by). I also enjoy the diversity of products in general from other countries, such as Chinese beer or South African Brandy. The staff is awesome. When I was still an alcohol novice I often asked them for advice and suggestions for new types of drinks and experiences-such as what mixes best for a Gin and Tonic or what is a good starting bourbon to drink straight. Some of their suggestions I enjoyed, some not so much, but hey-that is part of the experimentation process. Convenient location, friendly and engaging staff, and healthy inventory make this my bottle shop of choice. read more

I didn't even know this place been here for 6 years. I've been driving nearly 20 miles round trip when I could have been driving 6 round trip. It's not a mega liquor store but normally you'll find what you need. I've read other reviews on this place that's probably been 6 months to 2 years old that were negative but by the same token I've never experienced that which I've read. Two stars because the store is nice and new, clean and very close to my house. I've been there twice. The first time, I thought the cashier just had a bad day. On the second visit, I realized she needed another job and shouldn't work in any part of the business thatvrequire customer service. What an evil woman. Bourbon selection is weak at best- went in to buy some tequila for the wife a few weeks ago and noticed a gentleman with some Buffalo Trace at the register and was SHOCKED to say the least. Not impossible to find, but not something I remotely suspected would be at this 7-11 of liquor stores. Grabbed a bottle and my total for the 1800 and the Trace was under $50. Not bad- definitely putting the Trace under $30/bottle...likely $25 or so. Went back today and the total with tax for another bottle was $46 and change (just the 750 ML of Buffalo Trace). Sorry- not this time. Talk about price gouging. I remember when they first opened and this slow-built business was false fronted with empty cases just to make the store look full. I loved shopping here and supporting a small business owner. Not any more...you've lost your way (and this customer) which I'm sure is no big deal to you- now that you can actually order product to fill your shelves. Good luck! I had never been to this place until today and I will not go back. I went to check out and the woman at the checkout counter was the most unpleasant that I have come in contact with in a very long time. She was on the phone and clearly not happy about something and after hanging up was roughly moving my bottle of tequila around and when I picked it up to put it in a bag she snapped and said she had it. I apologized and then she very rudely told me to have a "great" day. I will continue to go to Turtle Creek, due to the awful first impression and customer service. read more

Would not recommend this business. Called to see if they had any Weller 12 year. They said no. My friend had just purchased bottle that day within the hour. After I told her that, she said they do have plenty at double retail of course. I get there and actually purchase a $60 bottle of Four Roses as well. When I ask for the Weller 12, she said they haven't got any in. I used to frequent this store, but never again will I return to this establishment. Honestly, if I would've reviewed this store two weeks ago I would've gave it five stars. But with the new coronavirus going around I know everybody is a little on edge, and some stores are closed. But the stores that are considered essential winch the liquor stores are, there is the social distancing which is understandable. Up until now I have had nothing but positive things to say about this liquor store the employees are always nice they always say hello and help you when you need it. But earlier this week we came in and as soon as we walked in the door we said hello and we were told to get what you need and you need to leave. There is no friendship no anything that I would expect from a business being open at this time with what we are going through. I will not be back to the store and will take my business to turtle Creek in Bethlehem. read more

I've visited this location regularly ​since it's opening. Pros: Great location because before they opened, I had to drive 30 plus miles, to Buford drive, to purchase my selections. Cons: 1. Poor customer service. The staff cannot be accused of being polite, professional, gracious, welcoming or even appreciative that you decided to solicit their business. 2. On this occasion​, I noticed a white pick-up truck out front, with a confederate flag and a guy in civilian clothes got out, he was open carry his pistol. 3. Upon entering the store and making my selections, I noticed he worked there. I understand the risk of working at a package store. But this guy was obnoxious​, in a threatening manner, hovering while customers are cheerfully preparing for the Thanksgiving holiday. The atmosphere was very disturbing and very uncomfortable. I typically spend over $200 to restock my bar at home. When I left out the door of that store ​while recognizing the truck again, I decided, I can spend my money elsewhere. Somewhere ALL customers are respected and appreciated. I will make the 30-mile​ drive to Buford. read more

If I was just going to buy a six pack of natty lite, I could run in and out of a gas station in a matter of minutes. If I was running a business where customers may actually come in and spend sometime looking around and maybe spend more than 7 bucks on a six pack of beer, I would at least offer them a restroom to use if needed. Lucky for me I found another place to spend $120 on some craft beer that didn't mind letting customers use their bathroom facility. I had frequented this place a number of times in the past year of discovering it's location. However, in a conversation with the owner regarding NEW signage to deter possible THEFT, the INTERESTING discussion soon became political and uncomfortable regarding Colin K's choice to not Vote & NFL player's interview on why they were kneeling. He imitated some of the players in a less articulate manner; I listened since he initiated the discussion. In the contrary, this is a community with a growing, diverse demographics. I haven't shopped here since. I felt as if "some ethnicities" aren't appreciated. read more

They have a great selection of just about anything you could want so it's fun to browse. The staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable. It isn't generally very crowded,there is plenty of parking and it's located in a nice area. This establishment is well worth visiting if you live nearby or plan on visiting. Very convenient location, but horrible customer service. I patronized the store today. In my cart was 3 bottles of liquor and 1 six pack of beer. Upon check out, I asked the clerk if they were able to order my favorite beer in twelve packs--I had made this request on my prior visit and was told that they would "see". Today, the clerk stated that if they were to order it, I would have to buy whatever their minimum order was--probably 4 twelve packs. I told him that was fine--I normally buy that much because the place that does carry it is further away. He then told me they couldn't get that beer in cans anyway. The imbecile then said, and I quote, "Dude-this is a liquor store...." apparently he had forgotten that I had just purchased 3 bottles of liquor and therefore well aware that it is a liquor store --Turtle Creek now has yet another loyal customer that will never darken the door of Dacula Cork and Bottle. read more

I can't believe the level of customer service I experienced here. They advertised 1 price but charged another price at the register. The difference is 2 dollars out of a 30 dollar bottle of liquor. They REFUSED to adjust the price although the sign had the correct name plate. Will never go here again read more

I really wanted to like this place. There the FIRST & ONLY liquor store in Dacula. Every time I have talked to the owner he has been short and rude. He's doesn't appreciate the community support we give. My friends that have ask for his help in the community have been treated the same way. He's been ask to donate "small" things and he acts like it's a major inconvenience? I think every business should support your community. You don't have to do big things, but you should support and give back. Friend's Bar and Grill is a good example of supporting your community! I would go somewhere else if I was you. read more

I was excited when I stumbled upon Dacula Cork & Bottle several months ago, as it is conveniently located near my home, and I no longer had to wait in line at Costco or drive a far distance, that is, until today. When it was my turn in the checkout line, the cashier asked if I was going to pay with cash, debit or credit. I found the question odd, because none of the customers ahead of me had been asked. However, I answered anyway, and proceeded to insert the card chip into the reader. After the sale was completed, he asked for my ID, and again, it occurred to me that none of the other customers had been asked to provide ID, although each of them had paid with cards as well. As I presented my ID, I became curious, so I asked why he needed to see it. To which he replied that he needed to make sure the name on the card is the same, in a way that inferred I must be mentally challenged for asking. There are two problems with the identification process he claimed to be using: (1) Unless the cash register displays customer names as their cards are being processed, there's no way he would have had a name to compare. He never gained access to my card, because I put it into the reader and pulled it out upon approval before returning it to my wallet. (2) Even if the name was on the display, it would have been a different name. The name on my card is my middle name because I've never used my first name, with my married last name. My driver's license has my fist name and my surname as I haven't had an opportunity to get a new license with my married name on it. I chose to ignore the verification inconsistency, and told him he had not asked any of the other customers for their ID, at which point, the cashier at the adjoining station said they always ask for IDs when accepting credit cards. I said, if that is the case, he should have asked the other customers for theirs as well, and that no one had asked for mine before, he said they should have. The entire exchange was conducted in a calm manner, and I do not make disparaging remarks frivolously, but I was the only customer in the checkout line that was scrutinized and asked for my ID. Consequently, I have no doubt whatsoever that it was racially motivated. I don't have a problem presenting my ID at the point of sale as long as everyone else is asked to do so, but I have a huge problem with disparate treatment, it is unacceptable to me. I voluntarily provide alcohol for our weekly community social events, and have purchased from Cork & Bottle exclusively since the beginning of the year, but from this day forward, I will gladly drive those extra miles, because I will never patronize this store again. read more

The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They have a wonderful selection of craft beer. They have a wide selection of just about anything you could want alcohol wise. It certainly is a Godsend to have a package store so nearby now. They have plenty of parking and it never seems too crowded. I strongly suggest checking them out if you drink and live in the area. This is the only package store I shop at anymore. My only complaint is that they don't carry moonlight meadery's mead. read more
