I came across Goodyear, which was barely 0.5 miles away from AAA. I was greeted and welcomed by Felicia Finch, and I quickly got a new tire. I got rewarded by going to Goodyear because I got a free rubber valve stem. (This was due to me damaging its sensor.) I don't think I would have gotten a free tire part elseware. I recommend this store to anyone that wants a good tire service!

I got to my appointment about a half hour early because I was running errands after work, and it didn't make sense to go back home only to turn around and come back out. But they were able to get me in before my scheduled appointment time and they were quick. They even did both headlights for me and only charged on labor for 1 of them. They also told me some other things I should get taken care of, but I didn't have time today so they scheduled me an appointment for this weekend. When I arrived I was greeted by a gentleman at the desk (sorry I didn't get his name) he addressed my concerns right away about replacing my two headlights & was able to give me a price on the job/labor before my car was even serviced. I had recently purchased a 2012 Mini Countryman and was making preparations to get it inspected and registered/tagged when the check engine light came on (this is after about a month of ownership and driving with no problems at all). Driving down route 40 in Edgewood I saw J.C.'s out of the corner of my eye and pulled in. Spoke to John and Renee (seems to be a family run shop situation) and while they had a few cars they were working on at the time, they said they could take a look in about an hour - which I was SO grateful for. They also shared that a number of folks they knew (family and others) who drove Mini Coopers which made me feel even better to have found J.C.'s and they were able to take a look at Lil Blue (my Mini) that afternoon. I left to run a quick errand and on the way back guess what? The check engine light goes off on the way back to J.C.'s. I arrive and ask if they can do the Maryland Inspection (because wow - I saw a sign that in addition to tires and auto repair, they conduct MVA authorized inspections). John said he has time to do one or the other but not both (it was about 3:30pm by this time so I completely understood). I chose the inspection. Due to the pandemic we couldn't wait inside, but there was a snowball stand two stores down so we had a cool one and sat on their outdoor tables (which were under shady trees). While John said the inspection could take up to an hour, he called me about 40 minutes later to say the inspection was done. We walked back over and received our documentation to say Lil Blue completely passed inspection - great news! I appreciate John and Renee of J.C.'s Tire. They were honest, transparent, and relatively flexible when we literally just pulled in from the road without an appointment. Their price was fair (for the inspection and the price quoted for the diagnostic). If I need work done on Lil Blue and I'm in the area, I'd definitely return to J.C.'s Tire.
