I came here looking for a lemon tree and some bougainvillea plants. Their variety of citrus plants they have here is amazing. Everything from orange trees to lemon trees and grapefruit to kumquats. I purchased a dwarf pink lemon tree, which I didn't even know existed. Supposedly, these lemons are yellow with greenish stripes on the outside with pink flesh on the inside, but still have that classic lemon taste. I didn't purchase any bougainvillea plants this time around, because of the lack space of my car, but there is a gorgeous selection of bougainvillea plants in every color and variety here. I also purchased an aloe plant that they had on sale, marked down to $24.99 from $50! If you're looking for succulents their selection is a little on the small side, but they do have a ton of tradition outdoor cacti and large palms as well. Beyond plants, they carry every sort of gardening, tool, soil, and outdoor decor you could ever need for your house. During my visit here, everything on the grounds was 10% off because they were celebrating their 10-year anniversary. Im so happy to see a local business thrive and I hope they're here for another 10+ years!

Then we move further away but always make a stop whenever we nearby. We stopped Friday night and they have live music and food trucks. A nice evening to stroll the garden and listen to the live music and while at it we also get thai tea and orange cream ice cream from the food trucks. Also the employees are always helpful and know about the plants. Give them a try either just for the plants or enjoy the evening on the Friday night with live music and good foods.

Definitely my highlight of the trip though was meeting the friendly, knowledgeable staff and the most adorable cat - Basil! He is there is protect the Belmont Nursery grounds and make sure no plant goes uncared for. My sister and mom come here more frequently than I do to get all their garden essentials, and they say it's pretty affordable and is the best place to go to for its wide selection. I definitely would come here if I was a more frequent gardener, but for now I'll have to stick to getting maybe a basil plant here and there for my garnish.

After I received advise on my grass, I asked about different trees that I could plant in my front yard. I don't have a large front yard and I needed some thing that had a non-invasive roots. The entire time I was there I was given such wonderful advice and such great suggestions on trees that have non-invasive roots that will not overpower my yard or grow around my water pipes. As soon as I walked in the lotus gardens, I felt so relaxed. It is such a wonderful place to walk around and to shop. The employees are so helpful and so nice. I wish I would've known they were there a long time ago. I will totally be visiting again in the near future. If you have it, then you're really missing out on a little hidden gem .

I am grateful for Fresno Ag when spring comes and I am planning my vegetable garden. They are the only store that offers vegetable plants in the pony pack. This allows me to plant what I need and also share with my neighbors. Darlene answered questions about the plants and let me know when certain plants would be arriving. I made a request for the yellow tomato (Lemon Boy). She let me know the date it would arrive and I received a text the day before to remind me. There were also two other employees, a young man and young lady who were also helpful and kind if not cheerful. This kind of knowledgeable personalized service is rare. The plants were healthy and economical.

Their diy dog wash area is very nicely laid out. It has plenty if ventilation so that it doesn't get humid and smell like mildew. They have a decent selection of shampoos and conditioners to use. I really like the wash stations. There are 2 with a separation between them. There are also brushes/combs and nail trimmers you can use. They have towels and high velocity dryers. What i reslly appreciated was the ability to dry my girl on a dry table. Most places have you drying them in the same tub you just used, so their feet never get dry. I was very impressed with the set up and if I need to wash my girl again, this would def. be an option. They are quite a bit far for me though. That said, there are also lots of restaurants around so, may be worth the drive. Lol. I suppose this is where I mention that I live life with a service dog and we had zero issues. 4 paws up!!

I was blown away by diverse selection of outdoor and camping gear, holiday home decor, isles of tools, and a huge garden center. Which for now is a little lacking, but I'm sure will be full soon. This store just opened so everything isle is full, very clean, and organized. Don't sleep on this place for holiday decor. I bought some Halloween items here and they were 75% off! Probably because it's so late in the season, but I'm sure they'll do the same for their Christmas decor; which they've already started putting out. To quote the movie Old School I love having "a nice little Saturday at Home Depot", but the nearest one to me is about 25+ minutes. This new Tractor Supply location is right across the street from my neighborhood and it definitely scratches that "nice little Saturday" itch. See ya soon Tractor Supply!
