Rented a limo for the prom here got a call 20 minutes before they needed to be at our high school saying that they weren't going to make it!! I told them even if they were a half hour late we would still get in the limo but needed to be at a reservation in time and if they didn't make it by six we were out of there.... well they never made it!! instead they ended up going to the restaurant and waiting for all of us parents to drive our kids there and our kids only got to ride in a limo for 5 to 10 minutes to get to their venue for the prom and then they had the audacity to charge us the whole amount when they broke the contract!! I would never ever recommend this company they false advertised about their limousine saying it was an updated limousine the limousine was crappy had no music or air conditioning! -we were told the reason the limo was not ready was because they needed to fix the air conditioning and the air conditioning still wasn't fixed!!! very impossible people to deal with and I do not trust them! No sympathy for the fact that we had to go way out of our way because they never showed up.. read more

I agree with Amy Z. If I could give a 0, I would. My driver arrived at 1:10 instead of 1:00. This was after talking to him earlier that morning and confirming the time. The limo was NOT clean; there were1/2 empty bottles of water in the limo. We were traveling to Woodland Lake in Bitely, Michigan. The driver's google maps would not come up. I gave step by directions as we drove. Once we got to White Cloud, the drive stopped for gas and snacks. It seems that the limos should have had a full tank and my paid time should not have been used. Once we were rolling again and turned on 11 mile Rd. I told the driver he would be making a left turn once we past Woody's bar onto Blair St. I told him it would be 1 block past Woody's and spelled the street several times for clarity. He drove many miles past Blair. Once the driver finally turned around. Our host was waiting at the corner of Blair and 11 mile so that the limo could follow. We finally arrived 30 minutes late. After the trip I was billed an additional $207.00. I asked the owner was that for the gratuity and told him that I had already given it to the driver 20% of the total bill in cash. I was told that was between me and the diver. The $207.00 was a service fee to cover the cost of cleaning the limo. Then I get a text where he let the driver know that I was not happy and kept referring to me as guy. Then I get a text another where the driver says he called at 6:50 PM and said the trip would be 45 minutes overtime. I booked the limo 1:00 -7:00. Mind you the driver came 10 minutes late, stopped for gas and snacks, and went miles out of the way, and had to have someone come and lead him to the destination. We returned to my pick-up spot at 7:20. After all of the texting back and forth I was billed another $157.50!!!! I hope this helps someone to think 2X before using this company. I read more

4 husbands surprised our wives with a limo ride and dinner. We had a Great time. Making reservations and setting up the event were very straight forward on the web page. Our driver _Nathan_ called a couple of times before the event to make sure timing and everything went according to plan. He picked us up on time and we had a great ride from Rockford to Grand Haven for dinner at the Snug Harbor Inn. The limo was showing it's age a bit, and the name plastered on the side gave the feeling of a younger crowd out on a bar hopping night. The ladies were impressed and a great time was had by all and we didn't have to worry about driving. read more

Worst experience ever. I secured transportation for my wedding and it couldn't have been more of a disaster. The bus arrived late. DADD's told us it was because the bus was having trouble, which turned out to be a lie. The driver ended up admitting that she had arrived late for work and didn't leave their facility on time to pick up my wedding party after the ceremony. Once we got on the bus it got even worse. The inside of the bus was not clean, the seats swayed front to back when we accelerated or stopped, and the stereo system was blown out and sounded like an AM radio my grandpa would have kept in his basement. I tried to speak with DADD's management to see what could be done about the bill I had paid for such a subpar experience. The best DADD's ownership would rudely offer was a free one hour of rental on another date. Obviously that was not acceptable because I didn't like the experience I'd already had - why in the world would I want to do it again? In summary, go with ANYONE else besides DADD's. read more

During the last week of January, we requested DADD's services to bus a group of students from the Grand Rapids area to the State Capitol. The original bus broke down. The driver contacted a direct office line, not the main office number where someone would have answered, to leave a voicemail when we had given a cell phone to contact us since the event was not in our office. The driver communicated that the bus was leaving in less than 10 minutes when he called at 7:47 a.m. The second bus did not arrive until after 9:30 AM. The drive from West Grand Rapids to the school is just over 30 miles. More than an hour and a half for a bus to arrive is unacceptable. A colleague and I attempted to contact DADD's numerous times without success because the line was neither answered nor redirected to a voicemail. No calls were made to the school or to our main office. No messages were left from the new driver with an ETA. The only reason we knew any details was because we were able to contact the school leader on the other DADD's rented bus and get information from that driver. They have a "no refund policy." Only a voucher can be issued or they will make up for lost time. We have had to call them back every time even when Tammy (the manager) has told me she would contact me. Our recommendation: use someone else. If they can't make the situation right, they aren't worth it. read more

A truly awful experience with this old, shabby limo. I don't recommend. We rented a limo for a bachelorette party and the driver, Lee, was late to pick us up, the limo smelled and was dirty upon arrival (cups and beer cans from the previous users), and it was extremely warm in the car before our party of 12 got inside for a 40 minute drive. Also, we couldn't get the bluetooth to work and the driver didn't know how to help which was a major let down as we had no music for either of our 40 minute rides. The driver also got lost on the way home. When I called to speak with the manager and the driver they were both very unprofessional by accusing me of being highly intoxicated and not remembering the night correctly, even though I am pregnant and was not drinking alcohol. Also, the driver and manager accused us of trashing the limo so he could get an extra tip for the ride, although the vehicle was already filthy before we used it. Half of our party took Ubers home to avoid riding in the limo. It was just terrible. read more

Awful. 1) In the weeks leading up to the reservation, Dadd's added several additional hidden fees that were not agreed upon at the time of reservation. 2) $600 was paid upfront to provide a limo service at 6:00pm on Saturday. The limo did not show up at 6:00pm and we placed a call asking where the limo was. The company yelled and cursed at us saying they had no record of a limo being booked. However, we had talked to them several times in the weeks prior and had a hard copy receipt. After several minutes of them yelling at us that there was no reservation, they finally agreed to send a driver over when we threatened legal action. They ended up showing up over an hour late. The other post looks eerily similar to this situation. DO NOT USE DADD'S LIMOUSINE SERVICE UNLESS YOU WANT TO RUIN YOUR NIGHT!!!! Shame on them. read more

We got a limo for a birthday party. The driver was late for the pickup and made us late for our dinner reservation. Then we had to give the driver directions since she was going to take the slow way. This company was truly awful, and very questionable. They were subcontracted by U.S. Coachways to do our transportation from Grand Rapids to Washington D.C. Buses were to leave Grand Rapids at 5:00pm. However, we were informed at approximately 5:00pm that the second bus we reserved had serious mechanical issues, and would not be driveable. We were informed by one of the drivers that the company had been aware of this earlier in the day, and that the drivers had been told the issue was fixed. However, upon inspection by the drivers, it was clear the bus should not be driven. After considerable back and forth with the drivers and their company, we were given the option of a 36 passenger mini-bus for the second vehicle, or no vehicle would be available for the rest of our passengers. We accepted the 36 passenger option as we were already quite late and in danger of missing a significant part of the event we were traveling to attend, and did not find it acceptable to tell dozens of people that they could not make this trip due to the incompetence of the bus company. This 36 passenger mini bus does not contain a restroom and had to make numerous stops along the route, further delaying our trip and causing our members significant discomfort. That is not what we paid your company for. The buses did not leave Grand Rapids for the 1 hour drive to Kalamazoo until after 6:00pm. Buses were scheduled to leave Kalamazoo at 5:30pm, and did not leave until after 7pm. The buses required our passengers to pay tolls on the way, saying that the bus company was not responsible for the cost. The bus drivers informed our passengers early the next morning after driving through the night that they would not be able to complete the trip to Washington D.C., due to federal drive time regulations, and that they would need to stop and take 8 hours minimum rest. They did not offer any solution as to how the passengers would be taken to Washington. The drivers planned to stop and rest in Breezewood, PA. I was contacted early in the morning by distraught staff of our organization asking what to do and sharing that they had been informed that the trip would, for all intents and purposes, cease in one hour, and there was no plan in place for how they would arrive at their destination. In addition, the group was running even later due to the fact that the 36 passenger bus had no restroom and additional stops were required to allow restroom use. After working for 2 hours with U.S. Coachways, we were informed at approximately 8am that two different buses from another company would be picking up our passengers at the Breezewood exit on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The buses didn't arrive til 11. Our entire group of 77 people missed the whole event they were traveling to attend. read more

O Stars! We had reserved a 14 passenger stretch limo from Dadd's for my Son and Daughter in laws wedding. We were contacted the day before to tell us that the limo was not available. Several calls were made to the company regarding this issue with no resolve. After the ceremony in front of the church was a filthy dirty bus. The bus was running with the diesel fuel smell going through the air with all of our guest and the bride and groom coming out of the church. The driver had to be found to turn it off! The inside of the bus was very dirty as well. We were offered $100.00 gift cert. towards another rental. I would never use this company again so why would I want a gift cert. . This company was awesome! I live in Toledo,Oh made all the bookings with Tammy via the telephone and she was great! The driver we had for our event last weekend was Michele she was great as well!!! I would recommend this Limo service to anyone looking for a great time and a pleasant group of people to work with. We rented the Hummer limo for 6 hours the rate was great for a Saturday and went on a winery tour in West Michigan. Absolutely the worst experience with any business of my life. We booked the party bus for our WEDDING 4 months before the date. 2 days before the wedding they told us there was a problem with the bus and it would not be available. They offered a Coach bus instead, which we would have considered if they had adjusted the price to the standard rate which is $400 less. They refused. So we started calling around to find a different solution. EVERY company I called said the same thing when I told them about our predicament: "you rented from Dadd's, didn't you?". Then one of them told us they sold the bus 2 MONTHS before the wedding. But they didn't tell us until just before the wedding so we wouldn't have any options. We found another bus and have been trying to get our money back for 5 weeks. They commit to refunding it, then say it must not have been approved. Every person that works there is a "dispatcher". We actually got the owner on the phone finally and he pretended to be a dispatcher. We told him we knew who he was and he told us we signed a contract and Hung up. So ridiculous! We never even signed a contract! The most unethical business that I have ever encountered. It is shocking. We will be filing legal charges very shortly. Rent from Affordable Limo or Crystal Limo instead. They were so easy to work with. I am not exaggerating at all. It was the worst experience ever! On our wedding day! I have used Dadd's multiple times & have received great service! One of the features that I really like is you as a customer can choose where you would like to be picked up and dropped off. This is a very helpful feature especially when you have people coming from all different areas. I also have used Dadd's for business purposes. This is the worst experience I have ever had in customer service. I originally booked this service to assist in a wedding. The idea was to rent two buses and a hummer limo to transport people to a beach wedding location in silver lake Michigan. The dispatcher was extremely nice and assisted in setting up the reservation after all of our instructions were provided for our needs. We thought this company was awesome for undertaking this task for us and even provided a driver to talk to that had done this type of operation before at the same location. However after paying the entire bill I was contacted 4 days before the wedding to tell me they were backing out because of "insurance reasons". The reasoning was acceptable however the point is they should not have book this reservation in the first place with us if they could not provide the service. Also backing out 4 days before an event is poor customer service. This caused extreme stress in planning and additional last minute costs for transportation. Point being this could have ruined the entire wedding. If you want a group that would help you nearly lose $20,000 or more go for it however I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE due to their dishonestly and inability to follow thru. read more

High marks for courteous, safe bus drivers. Very low marks for horrible customer service. We hired Dadd's to transport a busload of students from the west side of the state to Lansing. The original bus broke down (that happens). But then they made effort to contact the school, to let them know they'd be late. They dispatched a second bus - and instead of the second bus heading straight to the school, it stopped to give a jump to the FIRST bus! They ended up being more than 90 minutes late - again, without ever making any effort to contact the school. When we complained, they informed us that Dadd's has a "no-refund" policy. We now have a "Don't ever hire Dadd's again" policy. read more

We reserved a PARTY BUS for our daughter and her friends for prom. The contract stated the bus was new and seated 40. When I booked it, I confirmed that it had wrap around seating. Two days prior to the event, the driver left a message confirming the bus. On the day of prom, a bus that was basically an old transportation bus with some lights strung around the edges showed up. All the seats were facing forward with a center isle, just like a school bus! Nothing special for our 40 graduating seniors. The bus driver contacted the company (he got right through to someone) and was told they had overbooked the day and didn't have a party bus for us. When I tried to call, they answered once and said they didn't know anything. All future calls were sent to voicemail (just like other reviewers). On Monday, I called to get a partial refund. Like other reviewers, I got various explanations.... the original bus broke down, they were overbooked, etc. They offered money off a future booking but also threatened that if I posted anything on social media, they could sue for defamation. This is not a company you want to book with. Especially if it is for an important event. They are not transparent. Instead of calling, apologizing and giving us the option to cancel, they switch things, lie and threaten you. Avoid this company! read more

I would have chosen to rate this as zero stars if possible! This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with. First, the driver showed up and tried convincing us that there was a $105 drivers fee and he told us this was not part of the tip. That didn't sound right to me so we asked him again and somehow, his story changed. LIAR! We got in and the interior was nasty and the door was all rotted out. We brought some champagne for a toast but there were no glasses to toast with. There was no napkins, no nothing as the website said there would be. After all this I don't know why I was so suprised to find out that the AC was not working right and the radio had a mind of it's own and would not stay on one channel for more than 2 seconds. We even tried playing a CD and it would not work either. Basically, everything about this limo ride was awful. We should have just picked up a rotted out suburban from the junk yard and all piled into the back, I bet it would have been nicer. And cheaper. My final complaint would be that I couldn't even make a complaint with the company. She said I had to email this lady and she MIGHT get back to me. How impersonal!? I can't even make a complaint? Booked with this company for my wedding in June 2011. The limo showed up and it had RUST along the outside. The back bumper had a crack in it. The A/C didn't work...we were all sweating. So because the A/C didn't work we wanted to put down the windows but the windows didn't even go down. The speakers for the music were terrible. The leather seats were cracked. The driver of the limo looked like a scum bag. We tried to get at least part of our money back if not all of it but all they could do was offer a coupon for a future rental. I think NOT. We will not use this company again. For all you brides out there...don't use this service. Too much money and you get a crappy car. The only good thing was that they showed up on time. read more

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE. There was gum on the seats of the limo we rented for our wedding. The carpets were FILTHY. My wedding dress was dirty by the time I showed up at the church. The "party" bus we rented didn't have ipod access, looked NOTHING like the pictures advertised, AND the roof was falling down. When I called to complain the staff was dismissive and uncooperative. The managers even admitted to the broken roof and still refused to make the situation right. After several phone calls and e-mails they still refused to give me a credit. After they agreed to pay for cleaning my dress, they changed the terms of our deal and were rude about the entire situation. SAVE YOUR MONEY book someone else. For a company outing we hired 2 busses to take employees to a Detroit Tigers game and back. They arrived on time, drove smoothly both ways, and we were home when we planned. Both drivers called me before the trip to introduce themselves and to finalize the details. That was a great touch - knowing everyone was on the same page. read more

This company is the worst rental company ever. I had planned a rental at one of their cottages, and they totally floored me with how bad their service was. They contacted me 2 days before to let me know that they needed MORE money from me, when I called them a month in advance to verify that everything was taken care of (come to find out they just didn't have it recorded in the system). They also offered no compensation or options to resolve the inconvenience. They also stated multiple times that someone would contact me and they never did. The head guy "Frank" isn't in the office most of the time so you get emails from him but he hasn't touched base with the office so they are on two separate pages. I didn't ever receive a rental agreement until I paid my whole amount, and they were demanding I pay them before I even saw the rental agreement. It was terrible service. read more

We booked a bus to Detroit for the Tigers game, and waited in a parking lot for almost 3 hours because they insisted a bus was coming...it never showed up. Maybe it was because they had two other "incidents" on the same day. Either way, Dadd's now refuses to refund our money for the Tigers tickets BOUGHT THROUGH THEM after they failed to provide us a ride there. I have been trying to figure out how they have managed to stay in business with the service we received. If you are a Tigers fan that actually wants to see the game, or simply a person that appreciates people that are good at their job, I would recommend finding another transportation provider. They are polite, generous, kind, and have been known to do special things for their customers. Special rates, and discounts. Sometimes things happen that are out of their control. the only reason this has a star at all is because help requires it. horrible experience, horrible vehicles, horrible customer service. we ordered a bus for our wedding day transportation and the driver was rude and provided no help whatsoever when the vehicle we ordered arrived with broken air conditioning on the hottest day of the year. we had to ask him several times to call the company and ask for a new vehicle to meet us at our next stop. when we did finally get moving he drove incredibly fast, and barely spoke when we asked him to turn off his music which was competing with ours. he kept getting off the bus to smoke so when our passengers needed to get on or off, we had to flag him down to get in and out of the vehicle. we were delayed by close to 40 minutes to get our wedding photos started because of the vehicle problems. when we reached out to customer service to amend the situation, we had to call and email several times every day for a week before we even got a response which was to offer a meager certificate for future transpiration use. yea, right. like we will ever use this company again. complete waste of money, waste of time, and I recommend going elsewhere for any transportation needs. read more
