If I could leave Zero stars I would. This company totally scammed us out of $650 dollars and will not reimburse me anything, even after breaking down and leaving my group and I stranded on the side of the expressway and having to have a passengers mom and sister get us home safely. They did not hold up their end of the deal to pick us up and drop us off. My group also noticed antifreeze and several water bottles in the van (so clearly they were prepared for this to happen and knew this van was unsafe but still picked 8 of us up anyways). They are dishonest and no one should ever use them! We rented a party bus to take us from Grand Rapids to Detroit this past weekend. Prior to booking, the customer service was good. I was able to negotiate the price for the group we had and booking was easy. On the day of, our driver was about 20 minutes later than the scheduled pickup time. Once we were on the bus and on the highway, we realized one window was cracked and was not sealed around the edges. At one of the rest stops, I pointed this out to our driver, Scott. He said he would stop and get something to fix it. Because it was so cold, we ended up "fixing" it ourselves with what we had - Meijer bags and paper towels - to keep the cold air from coming in. Prior to doing this, everyone was freezing and it was almost unbearable. The other issue was that he did not have the main door latched all the way, so there was cold air from the front and back of the bus. We were able to fix the window enough that allowed us all to be comfortable and still enjoy our time. Though he was late, we made it to where we needed to be in time. Everyone had a great time and Scott was very nice! It was just a little frustrating in the beginning because you are paying quite a bit of money for something. read more

We decided, kind of last minute, to look for a limo/van to hire for my husbands birthday dinner/evening while vacationing in South Haven last week. We wound up hiring the "Karaoke Van" from DJ Specialists...and we couldn't have been happier. From start to finish, they kept us in the loop with plans, costs, timing etc. Scott was very thorough describing the van, how many it could hold comfortably, the price, the timing, etc. Roger, who was our driver, was excellent (and very patient with us too!). We traveled from South Haven to Portage for our dinner, and then from Portage to Mendon to go to a line dancing bar. Then the final leg of the trip from Mendon back to South Haven. The entire evening took about 6-7 hours...and Roger was fantastic throughout! read more

I recently had a group of 19 adults have a nice "night-out" event which included the rental of the H2 hummer limousine through DJ specialists & Limousine. DJ S&L work with a variety of limo companies to book events so the actual limo came from a different company. On the whole, they did the job that was expected. read more

NOOOOOOPEEE!!!! After getting paid and tipped 20 percent in advance, this company sent my group and I a hunk of junk. Unsafe, dirty, holes in ceiling, torn down broken lights, left over remanences from party before us, broke down on our group and never made arrangements to send us a new car or refund our money. Owner was a nightmare to work with and won't issue any of our money back or willing to try to work this out fairly. These people are scam artists. Don't fall for it. read more

Terrible. We booked a party bus for my grandma's 90th birthday as a special surprise and bought a bunch of food, balloons, and decorations to celebrate on the bus en route to her birthday dinner. About a week before her party, they called to tell us that the bus we booked had had a malfunction so they were going to upgrade us to a limo. Great right? NOPE. The day of her party, they pushed back our pick up time several times, which was fine, albeit worrisome because we didn't want to miss our dinner reservation. The time came and went and they NEVER SHOWED UP. Even after we called them several times to see what was going on. We finally just had to drive ourselves (which involved several calls to secure more vehicles). When we called to get our money refunded, they agreed to do so, but my aunt had to follow up three times to ensure they refunded us the several hundred dollars we had pooled together. Rented a 45 passenger party bus for a bachelorette party wine tour in SW Michigan. The bus was big, clean, and worked out great for my group of 25 people! The driver was also very friendly. It was a little hard to get all of the details ironed out to book the limo bus, but everything went perfectly day of! I would recommend! read more

DJ Limousines truly was a perfect experience. I rented a 14 passenger limo TWO days before my wedding, this past weekend. It was a last minute decision, to say the least. I called around to several places and they were the most affordable and the most accommodating. Our driver Tyler was very professional, polite and flexible. As with most wedding days, things weren't exactly on schedule, but he made sure to be available for anything we needed. He went above and beyond to make sure the wedding party, my bride and myself had a great time. This company is highly recommended! read more
