Review is for steak and cheese sub only--unremarkable. Good but unremarkable. Having just come From Breem's in Worcester, everything else I fear will fail to meet expectations. The sub was larger than some in the area. Meat was super chopped, almost pulverized. I saw a good sprinkling of flavor, when I bit into the sammich it lacked in taste, for me. This was a takeaway meal for me, but the inside of the joint was "industrial" with plenty of seating. Service was unremarkable. read more

The best pizza we have found in the area and the best salads I've ever had from a restaurant. I find the staff there polite and quietly charming and love watching their dough flattening machine which is right up front. If you want the same old same old don't go here. I agree with one of the review the Pizza could be a little larger. I feel like the large is med pizza. The sauce is good. Bet they need to approve of their size or offer a larger size. read more

It's just okay. Not much sauce or crust. I find it somewhat tasteless. If you like mostly cheese then you might have a higher opinion.

We typically get their cheese pizza and their pepperoni. Good food, people are friendly and most importantly my son loves to come here once a week for their cheese because he loves the thin and crispier style. read more

Stopped off here for a pie to try it out. Pretty spacious and clean spot. Good size menu for pies and calzones. Went for a large cheese Togo. Took about 15 minutes. Brought it home and maybe it was because it was the day after thanksgiving and my stomach wasn't feeling it but the pizza lacked flavor and and not much sauce. Looked promising upon opening the box. But was let down ultimately. It's a good football pizza and definitely worth a visit if in the area. I'll give it another go on a normal night for pizza. The pizza was yummy. It does Not have a fluffy end crust. It was very thin and crunchy. I like it more doughy. I typically ask for light sauce. I didn't to see what they would normally put on the pizza. It was light, so if you like more sauce, you might want to ask for extra. Finally, I found a place to put enough cheese on to cover the pizza and it was great. In pics you will see the Hawaiian was a medium and the pepperoni was a large. THEY DO NOT DELIVER ONLY DOOR DASH OR GRUB HUB. This means that you pay a lot more for each item. They are definitely very expensive. read more

Worst place I have ever ordered from. As a former Sous Chef, this place should be ashamed of themselves for serving us such poor quality food. The Chicken Parm is burnt, the cheese on the steak and cheese isn't even melted and the bread isn't toasted lol The calamari is overcooked to the point where it tastes like chips. I don't understand how this place has 4 stars. Maybe we got a bad crew of people who cooked our food. I called to talk to someone about this issue and the guy who answered was rude about it. Boneless buffalo wings were ok, but I don't understand places that mix their buffalo sauce and blue cheese together. What if some people prefer them separate? As for the pizza, it was just God awful. The chicken on it was really dry and the pizza is so thin that it felt like I was biting into a piece of paper with the texture and taste of cardboard. Great pizzas, fast and friendly service and good prices. Finally got to try Daddy's as I went on a Sunday and a Monday and they were closed. However the new hours state Monday - Saturday till 8pm. Pizzas are perfect for one person or get a few to split between several people. Tried the tortellini pizza. Awesome unexpected combination of tortellini, cheese and pesto. Fired in the oven till nice and crunchy on top. The pepperoni was also terrific. My son gave it a 10 star rating. read more

Note: Rating is more like 2.5 stars. Daddy's Best Pizza (DBP) is in the King's Corner Plaza that was recently rehabbed after the Weathervane closed; across from Cumberland Farms. DBP is the anchor of the plaza. It's been open for just over year so I wanted to try it finally. The interior is spacious vertically (very high ceiling) and the large glass doors and windows let in tons of natural light, but the rest of the floor plan is rather tight. I walked in and wasn't sure where to go. To the right is a very limited seating area along the wall. You get a great view of traffic that way if you like that kind of view. On the left, there's trash receptacles and refrigerated beverage cases with another TV on top. In the middle there is a bar-like setup with a counter positioned vertically from with stools to sit on. Seats about four people per side. The screeching of chairs along the concrete floor is loud and grating. Just past that is a smaller horizontal counter right in front of the prep area that has menus you can look at. Above the kitchen/prep area are the same menus. DBP has the same fare as most pizza places which should cater to most palettes. When I try a new pizza place, I keep it simple: A pepperoni pizza, but I decided to switch it up and add onions. The setup is exactly like a Subway or Moe's, but unlike those, there's no direction where to go. It wasn't busy so I approached the register and my order was taken and passed over to the people in the prep area. DBP takes mobile payments and offer email receipts both which are huge pluses. My bill was $16.95 for a large two-topping pie. Pricey, but seems to be the going rate now for most places. I retreated back to the middle counter area and waited. By my estimate, my order should be ready in 15-20 minutes. No sooner than I settled at the counter, hordes of people came in. Timing is everything. I watched two families take up residence at the two tables and a couple relegated to the small table under the other TV that's there. The only seating now is this middle counter I've perched myself at. That said, dine-in is hit or miss given the very limited seating. This place is more honed for take-out. Watching people wandering around was telling; no one knew where to go to order. People migrated to the prep area only to be gently told to go to the other end where I was by the register. It should be more obvious where to order. Even more telling is none of the folks prepping orders were wearing gloves. Not sure if that's allowed in this day and age, but it was odd. The "brick oven" is gas-fired with a steel bottom. It's a gimmick more than anything. A true brick oven would be wood-fired with brick/stone allowing for more "authenticity". My order was ready in a smidge under 20 minutes. I sifted through the crowd of people, took my pizza, and made my way out. The box was branded as "Sorrento's" not DBP. Again, odd. Once home, I opened the box and was impressed at the visuals. Crust is hand-stretched, almost NY style. That's nice to see as it's different for this area. Unfortunately, my first slice was underwhelming. I say underwhelming because there was no discernible taste; it was as bland as could be from the sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and onion. It wasn't bad, but looking at it, I expected the flavors to pop. Crust was crispy and thin as expected, but flavorless. My maiden visit to DBP wasn't anything special. Would I go again and try something else? Maybe, but I wouldn't be eager to come back. At the end of the day, DBP is just another face in a vast sea of pizza shops in Leominster/Fitchburg/Lunenburg. For me, there are better alternatives at the price point that offer a much tastier experience. read more

Great pizza! Tried this place for the first time and was very impressed. The dough seemed fresh and thin. It's hard to find thin crust. Lots of basil on the margarita pizza is how I like it :) the cheese and sauce tasted perfect in my opinion - some people may prefer less cheese. The pizzas were true to size, as you can see the medium pizza barely fits in the box! We will definitely be coming back soon. read more

They are expensive for the size of the pizzas but it's brick oven so it's new and different for around this area which is nice and I guess why they can charge as much as they do. Actually visited the Merriam Ave location but called this location first. First issue was they wouldn't take an order by phone. Only by text. This was explained to me OVER THE PHONE which really seemed ridiculous. Second issue was on site at Merriam Ave. They won't accept cash! Then once we tried the pizza it was nothing special. Definitely not worth the hoops I had to jump through. Kind of what I expect frozen pizza tastes like before it's frozen. New pizza place just opened up here in Leominster, had to try it out. The set up is similar to Subway, Chipotle, Moe's, choose your toppings,unlimited is $8.99 is the way to go! There is one size, the pizza is made while you wait only 5 minutes away and you have a fresh and delicious pizza. With a thin crust and friendly atmosphere, my family and I will be back! read more

When this place first opened, the pizza was really good. The menu was limited, mostly pizza and cold subs. They have changed it out and offer tons more food - hot and cold sandwiches, pasta, pizza, etc. The problem is, the quality seems to have slipped. I ordered a small 3 topping pizza and it was no where near as good as it used to be. Toppings were not evenly distributed (how hard is that to do?) and I felt short changed on some of the toppings. The crust was stretched almost into a square instead of being round and they kind of folding it over to fit in the box. To be fair, the crust and sauce still tasted the same - very good, but the overall pizza was average to below average. Too bad. I might give them one more try before giving up on them. read more

The good: pizza is really good, the best I've had in Leominster. Employees are friendly. Pizzas cook quick, like 5 minutes. The bad: They have none of the conveniences a normal pizza store has: 1. no delivery. How does a pizza place not deliver? 2. you can't order ahead. This seems really weird considering... 3. you can't buy pizza by the slice. If all your business is walk in why wouldn't you offer slices? 4. you can only order 1 size. And it's an awkward size: 10 inches. Too much for one person to eat unless they're really hungry, often not enough for 2 people. read more

Last week I was driving by Daddys Pizza shortly after 8PM and happened to notice they were still open, so I had to stop by to get one of their delicious pizza's. I told them I was surprised to find them open then asked what time they closed. I was told they really don't have a time, they get to close whenever it gets slow. A few minutes later another car pulled into their parking lot and it was clear to me they wanted to close, a young boy came in and ordered a couple of pizza's, one of the two guy's working seemed frustrated by his delay and stormed past the little boy and switched to sign to CLOSED. This place produces a very good pizza quickly and most of the time with friendly service.. I don't think the owner realizes the amount of business they lose due to the lack of management. read more

Drove 35 minutes to try this place and it didn't disappoint! Pizza is thin and delicious! Workers were nice. Girl making our pizzas didn't have on gloves which was a little strange. Ordered Suzy's Favorite because I saw it online and it sounded delish! Unfortunately, online it still says it comes with pine nuts but it doesn't and it's crossed out with a black sharpie on the sign inside. You should change your online menu also. read more

The pizza may taste good, but the staff do not wear gloves!! I watched as they touch every other surface in the prep area; tables, apron, customer's CREDIT CARDS AND MONEY etc... then put their bare hands into the containers of toppings and sprinkle them on my pizza along with all of the bacteria living on them. I didn't even see a box of gloves anywhere near the toppings. Is this normal?? Am I the only one horrified by this? read more
