I've been remiss in reviewing Dade City Brew House, since it's as close to local as any breweries are going to get. It's good. Go there. Okay, fine, I'll expand on that. I don't think I've ever had a bad beer at DCBH, which is no small feat given the wide range of styles they do. I like pale ales, particularly hazy IPAs, and they've had great ones--but they also have great wheat beers, and porters, and sours. There's usually a kumquat beer on the menu. It's great, too. Really. The interior is spacious and well-lit, and on days that the weather permits, the roll-up doors to the patio and sometimes to 7th Avenue are open. It's a great place to hang around with a beer and write, and probably a great place to hang around with a beer and actually be social, if you're the type who does that. The service is always friendly, fast, and generally above and beyond. Worth special note: DCBH has always had a restaurant counter that's a separate business, and they've on (I think) their third one, Uncle Fatty's. They're really solid, delivering not only pub staples but sometimes surprising specials; it's some of the best food I've had at any brewery. They need to be open later on Thursdays. So: it's good. Stopped in to Dade City Brew House for a few refreshing beers. I had their Your Da Wurst Märzen and A Penchant for the Dramatic Hefeweizen. Both were crisp and refreshing and could stand up to some of the best versions of these styles I've had. They really hit the spot on a thirsty afternoon. Yes, we made our first trip out to Dade City, specifically to check out the Dade City Brew House, and it didn't disappoint! Located on "The Block" along other shops, the brewery is spacious with both a long bar, high tops, tables, and outdoor seating available. Surrounded by regulars and newcomers alike, the staff was friendly and inviting. With food (that smells divine) available for ordering in-house (take out available) and quality beer, we will surely make it back again. We ventured all day at the Webster Swamp a Roma, we were pretty worn out and looking for beer and food. Noticed Dade City was not to far away, so we said what the heck right, let's go. Glad we did! What a great brewery, o can say that, since been to probably about 200 in the past year. Amazing selection of the finest beers on tap. Food you say, "Uncle Fatty's" is attached with some excellent pub food. So if you're exhausted from popping tags all day, and need to quench your thirst, slam down a burger, this is the place for you. If not too bad, but you are still welcome to stop say hi to the staff, tell them George sent you, which means nothing except they will wonder who this George guy is that recommended you stop in. read more

Dade City Brewhouse has become one of my favorite spots in town -- and it just keeps getting better every year! The beer selection has grown so much, and you can really taste the care and creativity that go into every brew. My personal favorite is the Company 7 Lager -- smooth, crisp, and easily one of the best lagers around. Whenever my family comes to visit from out of state, this is always our go-to place. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for catching up over great beer. When they have concerts, it can get loud - however they always have outdoor seating! Having Uncle Fatty's right next door makes things even better -- being able to order delicious food right from the window inside the brewery is super convenient. It's clear the team here takes pride in what they do. This brewery also cares about it's community and wants to support the downtown area. Even after the hurricanes, they offered up free water for locals to refill in the time of need. Went here on a whim because I was in Dade city for something else. So glad I did. It was a Monday night and they were having trivia. So that's a score in my book. Then you add great beer to the mix and it's a perfect night. The place is much bigger than I thought it would be, plenty of tables in the tasting room, a nice bar and outdoor patio area. They don't have food but allow you to bring in food from local establishments. I had their Hazy ipa Forever Unclean. It was very tasty, true to the hazy ipa style. There's table service available or you can order at the bar. Will definitely return here when I have some more time to try some of the other beers. read more

This is a true brew House. Half of the establishment is filled with huge vats where they brew their own beer. The atmosphere is casual, the people are friendly, and the beer is delicious. What more can you expect from a brewhouse? They even have a patio for kids to play while their parents keep an eye on them through the extra large window. This was my first visit to Dade City and it seems to me that the brew house is THE place for the locals to go to on a Saturday night. read more

And a nice atmos I tried a few of their beers - the Liquid Nebula a hazy and the Have You Met Allison Porter. Both were very good. Food is overpriced but has a good taste. The bar and restaurant are split, which makes for a confusing experience if you try to order from the bar or a table. You will get "you have to order food over there". After getting over the sticker shock of the food prices. You then get shocked by the customer service. They act like you are there to serve them. Bad attitude and unwillingness to even bring your food and drink to your table. Then they deliver food to next table was really confusing. This place is going to blow up in eastern central Pasco county. Beers are solid, head brewer previously at Bhramari in Ashville. Nothing way out there as far as beers, one lactose infused sour collab (with Bhramari) a nice Porter and several excellent Hazies. Big plans are afoot, they are partnering or at least planning with Green Door on 8th (best Dade City restaurant hands down) for a kitchen offering street food. They have these huge rolling garage doors that will be able to be rolled up in cooler weather creating an indoor/outdoor space with railing seating off the street. So five stars and I actually drank there and didn't just rate on a peek through the windows. read more

Usually visit this brewery when camping at Florida Sand Music Ranch or when the Lint Rollers Band is playing there. Amazed that they have 20 brews and four of them are dark beers which are not IPAs or Imperial Stouts! It can be done. Check it out Tampa Breweries!
