Had an amazing time at three bulls Tavern last weekend! We have been wanting to try three balls for the past few months now, but never got the chance. I'm super glad we did! We got a chance to meet the bar manager who is super inviting and informative of their food and history, letting us know they also make all of their juices fresh in house. The food was super elevated. It was more than just bar food. It was fine cuisine! We started with the garlic parm wings, SOOOO GOOD!! I had their house special for the evening, which was a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. It was excellent! My fiancé had the steak sandwich which was also very delicious. They do offer a full bar as well as brew their own beers. For the full bar, we ended up having a couple cocktails, which were excellently crafted. Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night around 6:00. Place was busy. Large bar area packed. This bar/restaurant brews it's own beer. There is a large cocktail menu offering other local beers, commercial beers, wine and specialty cocktails. We've become regulars at Three Bulls. A great selection of menu items that are always delicious. They have a good selection of local crafted tap beers, and spot-on cocktails. Appetizers are unique with great flavors. I recommend the shrimp on blue corn chips. The burger is another favorite and always cooked as ordered. The wings are the among the best in the area with options of dry rubs to sauce seasonings that make it difficult to decide on a favorite. Deserts are a limited selection but well worth a try. The chocolate mouse pie is rich and flavorful. Service is always professional and social. Josh is always uplifting and a pleasure to socialize with while sitting at the bar. His cocktails are among the finest. The restaurant is lively and sporty with NFL games on a screen from any angle. I haven't found a seat that I couldn't watch a game. I love this place! Our first time visiting and can't wait to go back and try the entire menu! A must is the whipped feta! Absolutely amazing! Next we tried the steak sliders, equally delish! Everything about this place was terrific! Josh our bartender was helpful, attentive even with a busy bar and personable. He is awesome at his job! Tracey and Jim the owners were down to earth and friendly. They have poured their heart into their business and it shows! They took the time to talk to us about the food, the beers, how the restaurant got its start, etc. We appreciate their courtesy! The cheeseburger we enjoyed was delicious! We ordered the Whipped Feta appetizer - which we all loved and we ordered our go to, Shrimp Tacos to share - along with delicious Old Fashioneds and the bourbon beer. Hello, first review after reading several. The husband and I drove about 45 minutes to Three Bulls. We got there and had a 20 minute wait , so busy but not terrible . The menu sounded a so good. We ordered the deviled eggs and wings to start. The deviled eggs were served on a flight as pictured. Unfortunately they were flavorless.The board they were served on had old dirt caked up on it as in the pic , the black stuff. The wings were ok very rosemary forward. Husband ordered the pasta special , can't remember what wit was called something with a bolognese. He stated it was ok but was not a fan of the of thick pasta. I had the French dipper crostinis as my main, which completely lacked flavor. Overall the plates looked really nice , but did not have follow through. Three Bulls Tavern is a great place eat and drink local in Valrico. They have fresh bites and tasty beer along with excellent service. My wife and daughter and I arrived here around 5pm. We figured an earlier dinner would be easier for us since we have a 9-month-old. Three Bulls Tavern is in a small strip plaza off Bell Shoals. There isn't a lot of parking but the earlier you go, the easier that is too. We walked up and were pretty much seated right away. We got a back corner booth. This place was decently busy already. People lined the bar and most of the seating was full. It's mildly loud in here but not too bad. Music in the background and TVs around playing various games give this place a sort of sports bar vibe. Our server was around quick and got us started on drinks. He was super friendly. I got a flight so I could try all their beers. For an appetizer, we got the Skirt steak Irish Nachos. I don't remember what was Irish about these but it was really good. Small pieces of tender steak, tomatoes, pickled onions, jalapenos, cilantro and a drizzle of a crema. This was all laid over a bed of crispy house made chips. They were lightly salted and were a solid delivery mechanism for the tasty toppings. For our mains, I got the Three Bulls Cheeseburger, and my wife got the Asian Chicken bowl. The food didn't take long. My burger was a decent size and honestly, is a contender for the best burger I've had this year. This burger was cooked medium. It had double patties on it that were a mixture of ground beef, skirt steak and bacon. This gave the beef itself and amazing flavor. The smokiness of the bacon came through. It was topped with melty cheese, diced red onion, mayonnaise and thin sliced sandwich pickles. The soft brioche bun kept everything together. I was impressed with this burger. The side of fries were ok. Very thin, shoestring fries with light seasoning. I ate them all but they weren't my favorite fries of all time. My wife's Asian Chicken bowl was also great. It was on the spicy side. Fluffy white rice, surrounded by red cabbage, sliced carrots, red peppers, green onions and topped with two crisscrossed skewers of chicken. Well-seasoned and bursting with unique flavor, my wife enjoyed the dish. The beer here was good as well. They have a good selection that covers a variety of tastes and palates. I tend to prefer things on the lighter side so I tried an IPA, a Saison, a blonde ale and one dark beer, called the Wee heavy that was more than 10% abv. All of them were good. Overall the food and drinks were great, the atmosphere was light and fun, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We left knowing we would be back and looked forward to trying different foods here. I'm so surprised I've never written a Three Bulls review before! This local gem is really a special spot with a fun atmosphere, unique drinks, and great food. On my most recent visit, we went on a Sunday evening and it was pretty empty which I was surprised about since I've never not seen this place packed. Probably because it was a work night haha. We were seated and ordered some drinks - I loved my Paloma ($12) and my friend enjoyed his Margarita. They had some holiday/ cocktail as well which are on their Instagram, but we didn't try any this time. Our waiter was prompt and friendly! For appetizers, we tried the Garlic Cheese Fries ($14) and the Pretzels ($11.75). I've never had the fried before (they got rid of their tots in favor of them) and they were amazzzzzing. So perfectly thin and crispy, and that brie cheese sauce was so unexpectedly good. The pretzels were so soft, buttery, and salty - the perfect app. Other notable appetizers loved by the group (but not ordered this time) are the Deviled Eggs ($12), Crispy Ham Ribs ($12.50), and rosemary baked Wings ($14.75). Ive also had the homemade ravioli probably six months back as a special for Mother's Day (I believe) and it was absolutely incredible. Like, Three Bulls, if you're reading this, please make those again and message me ASAP to let me know. I dream of those perfectly thin raviolis with ricotta filling and sage sauce. For entrees, I went for the newly added Papardelle Alla Vodka ($17). The Calabrian chili added a really big kick and I personally wasn't the biggest fan of that spice level. Definitely go for it if you enjoy spice though! The Chopped Wedge Salad ($14.5) was super crisp and light while remaining so flavorful. The house-made pancetta was a great crunchy addition as well. The Mississippi Pot Roast Sandwich ($17.50) was really yummy too. It could have been nice to have some of the pot roast juices in a little cup on the side to soak the bread in....yum. The Three Bulls Cheeseburger ($16) is always a hit and tonight was no different. The pub chips are nice and crunchy too. And you absolutely must finish off with the Beignets ($8). Even if you think you're full, you can always fit in some warm, flaky, sugary beignets...they're seriously so good.
