    A very satisfying breakfast sandwich!
    Brad B.

Wow! What a place! The breakfasts are off the hook, here. Amazing pancakes, eggs, sandwiches, you name it! My wife and daughter ordered outstanding breakfast sandwiches with a side of potatoes. I went a little crazy and had two eggs with bacon and tator tots on the side...and pancakes. Hey...if you leave a review, you'd better get a good sampling! The service was excellent. The wait staff take care of you promptly without "hovering." We ate outside "al fresco." It was a charming space, right by a quiet street. The food, the staff, the atmosphere all measure up! Recommended!!!

I was really in the mood for a nova platter wow was this one bad Not only was it $20 but you got one ounce pack of cream cheese and 3 capers so I had to order more in order to eat the other half and they charged me an additional $2 and to top it off not sure that was I got served was real lox it looked more like a pink mush

I had lunch here with a friend. The service was great. Our server was very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious with generous portions. I had the tavern eggs benedict with tater tots and it was perfect. The place is divided into two area, sort of cafe like and the other side is pub like. I can't wait to come back here at night to see the different ambiance.

It's really 4.5 stars. The poached eggs were poached hard and were disappointing. Everything else was wonderful. They are back to table service and Carter was great. Attentive and very personable. He checked on us and made sure our food came out ok. He was five stars! I didn't complain about the poached eggs because I was hungry. The kids had pancakes with chocolate chips and they were full of chocolate. The "side of bananas for $2" was probably about 10 cents of banana. I'd skip that next time. They loved the pancakes. We had the corned beef hash with house potatoes. Very filling but needed a little salt. Hubby loved the french toast. Left not even a crumb on the plate. We had the tequila sunrise mimosa for cinco de mayo and that was glorious. definitely worth a trip back

Always a fantastic go to place. The chocolate chip pancakes here are phenomenal. The service was outstanding and efficient. This restaurant gives a an urbanized tropical vibe.

Fantastic spot for breakfast and brunch! I went at 10 AM and had a great experience. The outdoor seating was lovely, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was perfect. Plus, the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

The Chicken Francaise at Deli Lane is a must-try. Chef Mo consistently delivers exceptional dishes, but this one stands out as a personal favorite. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the execution is always top-notch.

Deli lane used to be our to go place for brunch or a late night meal during our college years. It been a long time since we dine here and this past Friday we decided to catch a meal. Dinners usually is less busy than brunch so luckily we were seated right away. Our waitress was super friendly and was very quick with our orders. We ordered a French onion soup to start and a caprese panini sandwich. The soup was tasty and was topped with a generous portion of melted cheese. The caprese panini was disappointing, very bland and the bread was not toasted enough. I know it been an icon for South Miami for a long time but I feel the food is not as good as I remember.

After a great night out we decided on brunch on Sunday and went from Downtown to Coconut Grove to South Miami. We decided on Deli Lane Cafe. Great ambiance and quick to get seating but then we ordered. Food was okay never got my toast. Hot chocolate was adequate but nothing to write home about. Service was mediocre at best and overall the food was bland. We have eat there before and something went wrong. Not sure but was a big disappointment. We will try again maybe just an off day.

    Great Sunday Brunch!

I have been going to Deli Lane for years-- I've always loved the atmosphere and great service. The menu is reliably good and there are so many options to choose from. Over the years, I've been able to try lots of their plates, which has helped me narrow down my favorites. I was able to revisit again today for brunch and was not disappointed! I ordered the southwest huevos, and my friends ordered pancakes, veggie omelette, Lo-cal French toast and bacon, egg and cheese bagel. Clearly, there's so much to choose from! Even though I ordered the southwest huevos, my favorite is the veggie omelette -- I'm a big eater and I appreciate the selection of berries and healthy add ons. Can't wait to visit again soon!

I've been coming to the Roasters original Pinecrest location for 26 years. And for most of those Ivan has been working Sunday mornings! Their bagels are always on point, which I usually request to be scooped and toasted (my technique is cream cheese first, then whitefish salad inside the scoop) and come in all the good flavors, but none of the not a bagel flavors. Their nova comes in multiple grades (regular and Acme(tm)) which is sliced by Florida's top professional "nova slayer" in such a way that it is just better than the best you'll have anywhere else. Their whitefish salad is the most classic and perfectly prepared I have had anywhere. The original Roasters is the only NY Deli in Miami that always lives up to the name.

I stopped by this well-established "bakery" chain for a quick bite. I chose the Pinecrest location because I always thought it was the nicer one. Other locations, particularly Doral, leave a lot to be desired in terms of ambiance. That's not to say this location is anything extraordinary, but at least it feels like a place you'd actually want to sit down and visit. It's been a long time since I last came here. I can't remember if they always stayed open until 9 PM on regular days, but I distinctly remember that on weekends at least, they used to close around 6 PM, and that by 5:30 PM the kitchen was often already shutting down. Because I generally wake up around 2 or 3 PM on weekends, this place became impractical for me long ago. I eventually found far better options closer to home that stay open later and offer a much broader selection of bakery/pastry items, all-day breakfast, while also offering sandwiches, entrées, desserts, and just about everything else. Still, after years of rotating through the same places, my friend and I decided to venture out, especially since I had woken up "early" by my standards. We arrived around 5 PM and I was absolutely floored by the menu prices. Wagyu or not, a smash cheeseburger for $25? A seafood fettuccine for $36? At a 3.6-star corner bakery? Dishes that cost around $18 a few years ago, such as the Black Forest ham and cheese scramble with coffee and orange juice, are now effectively $24 once you add the $2 extra charge for the coffee and small orange juice that used to be included. That's a staggering 33% increase from what was already an expensive meal three years ago. And that percentage doesn't tell the whole story, because even back then their prices were already 30% to 50% higher than many of their competitors. And let's be honest: the supposedly superior ingredients didn't exactly create some unforgettable culinary experience. You'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference between their Black Forest ham and the regular ham served elsewhere. Back to yesterday's visit. I had already driven there and didn't feel like searching for another place. Plus, my usual order at bakeries is a ham and cheese croissant, and that happened to be one of the few things on their menu that hadn't reached absurd pricing territory. At around $8, it's arguably one of their better deals, especially considering that a croissant filled with Nutella or some other typical filling costs roughly the same. Granted, it's not even a traditional ham and cheese croissant like the ones found in 99% of bakeries. It's a smaller version with the ham and cheese baked inside, almost like a pastelito. So when you factor this in, it's equally overpriced. Naturally, destiny enjoys playing jokes on me. The waitress informed me that they had already run out of croissants... at 5 PM... in a bakery supposedly known for its croissants. She then explained that they had shifted "more toward their bistro concept." I couldn't help but wonder: what bistro? Adding a few wildly overpriced restaurant dishes to your menu doesn't magically transform a bakery into a bistro. It simply gives the impression that you've drifted away from your original identity. And that's unfortunate because, as a French bakery, the selection here is already surprisingly limited. Compare them to competitors like Bonjour French Bakery and the difference becomes obvious. They simply can't compete. La Boulangerie mostly offers a handful of pastries and some jarred desserts and calls it a day. As for the coffee, both Bonjour French Bakery and Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar completely outclass them. Their coffee is richer, smoother, more flavorful, their prices are more reasonable, and their menus offer a broad selection, from all day breakfast to sandwiches, entrées, as well as pastas. Which brings me to the giant sign in the middle of the restaurant that proudly says "BAKERY" and to the word "BOULANGERIE" itself, the French term for a bakery specializing in bread and baked goods. Those words have never felt more irrelevant. There's a reason this place sits at a 3.6-star average rating as of this review. Had I seen that beforehand, I never would have driven this far based solely on memories from two years ago. I have a simple rule when it comes to restaurants: I don't go anywhere with less than four stars on Yelp. This visit was a good reminder of why.

The few times we came here, we sat on the fan cooled shaded patio, which is nice but adjacent to unsightly and sometimes loud construction! Not their fault, however we were forced outside despite plenty of open tables inside. Why? Despite this, it's an upscale feel in BeAuTiFul South Miami. Staff is always cordial and the atmosphere is relaxing and easy like Sunday morning. (Today is Friday early afternoon) street metered parking. The menu has something for everyone with some unique, some healthy & some splurges. There are happy hours and specials, too. Today I had falafel salad, at an eye rolling $20! It was an enjoyable salad, regular portion but falafel was overfired and too dry. I still enjoyed it, and hubby finished the last bites. He ordered a delicious matcha and margherita pizza with added short rib. Nice big portion, was overall enjoyable but he found their thick pizza dough overpowering. Last trip I ordered the LOCO, a fantastic splurge of chicken & waffles plus a few unique touches at a bigger price point. Not a huge portion, but still I Highly recommend! I would have ordered a regular iced tea, but there are NO complimentary refills! I H8 chintzy things at an upscale establishment! Craft People: just charge a buck or two more for those wanting refills. So... *Expert tip-just ask for lemon or lime for your water carafe OR spend on a specialty drink and skip the regular tea! Our bill for two lunches and one matcha was a whopping $70. It's a splurge, but that's what you will pay in this area for a luxury table waited brunch experience. Still, Craft needs to up the game a bit when we are practically sat in a construction zone. Again, why SO MANY empty inside tables on an 89 degree day, but you make us eat in the heat near a construction zone?! Hopefully it will be rectified soon! Still I enjoyed it enough to patronize Craft again, just NOT this location until the next door construction is finished. Thanks for following me and Happy Spring 2026! ~Tami in Miami
