I drank the Immune Tropical Smoothie, which contained orange juice, banana, pineapple, and mango, and I rate its flavor as 5 stars. I also ordered the Ham-Cheese Arepa. An employee told me that it would take 5 minutes to make, but I had to wait significantly longer. My husband and I agreed that this arepa was a low quality. The cheese inside was cold, and the arepa overall did not taste good, so we ate only part of it. I rate it as 2 stars. The eating area outside was small but located near a walkway lined with pretty palm trees. The total price for both foods was $23. read more

I've ordered the avocado toast from The Plaza Market many times. When it's fresh, it's fantastic--the avocado is bright, creamy, and delicious. Unfortunately, on several occasions, the avocado has been far from fresh. Instead, it's been completely brown, unappetizing, and not something I wanted to eat. I decided to give it another try, but once again, the avocado was brown. For the price of the avocado toast, I would expect fresh ingredients every time, not just occasionally. That said, the customer service here is always excellent. The staff is friendly, the place is very clean, and ordering by phone is quick and easy. I just wish the quality of the avocado was consistent enough to match the great service. read more

The best place in Brickell. I live in the building connected to the plaza so this is easily the most biased review HOWEVER, I love this place. SELECTION: They have a great variety of items ranging from fresh produce to alcohol and snacks. I have gone here for everything from last minute laundry detergent to getting my daily Tequeños. What were you received, were two scrambled eggs with cheese and four slices of bacon. We also received two pieces of wheat bread. Not toast. Just bread. Just plain simple bread. No butter, no preserves, just plain dry ass bread. To help wash this overpriced eggs and bacon meal with this dry ass piece of bread was a delicious cup of room temperature orange juice. It wasn't child, there were no ice in it. It was just warm. And everyone knows warm orange juice taste like shit. Especially when you're eating overpriced eggs and a piece of dry ass bread. This is my first time ordering from this location so with that said my review is solely based on my first order. I scheduled my order for 11:15-11:45 on Uber Eats, making the ordering process easy for me at 9:20am. I ordered 1 Egg sandwich which includes fried eggs and ham. I requested bacon for an addition $1 - the flavor was on point but I noticed I was missing my bacon. I also ordered a beef sandwich which I chose provolone cheese and fries as my side. The fries in my opinion are well seasoned. The sandwich on the other hand is sitting in grease LITERALLY! Check out the photos. As a beverage I chose Cold caramel coffee, the coffee is just the right amount but missing the sweetener and straw. I might give them a second try but hopefully they do better.. read more

We placed an order on Ubereats to order from The Plaza Market. Unfortunately, either the Uber driver mishandled the bag to scramble up the already poorly constructed avocado toast or the Plaza Market cooks didn't properly assemble what should be carefully put together so the consumer can have their avo toast in one piece by delivery and in house. The bread wasn't even toasted. Avocado toast is already a special thing you treat yourself to if you don't make it on your own at home. But I digress-- the oatmeal was pretty tasty, but that's because I added peanut butter that I had at home. They give you the option to sprinkle cinnamon on your oatmeal or add peanut butter. Why can't you just give us both? Then there was the colada I ordered. A colada made with NO sugar, and no sugar on the side? None of this is warm, btw. Honestly, the best part about this order was that my eggs actually came how I wanted them and I got to eat an arepa with eggs. The plaza market is a hidden gem! They have such good food and their staff is always so friendly, kind, and hard working. My husband and I order lunch all the time and sometimes dinner. The Plaza Market filled a great void in the area with its stocked shelf of your typical grab-and-go items from the grocery store. Whether you're stopping in for a cafe cubano or a quick snack the market will have you covered. The Plaza Market offers a combination of a small convenience store and a Latin-American cafe. I often frequent this location for my midday cafe cubano. I cannot comment on much of the food selections from the market but I have tried their chicken sandwich. The sandwich was good, not great. The chicken cooked in house was topped with onions and cheese and served in between two slices of fresh baked Cuban bread. The market does offer daily specials which I have seen vary from Latin pulled pork, cooked salmon, to lasagna. Maybe one day I'll work up enough courage to try their special. They seem to be a favorite among the lunch crowd. The only thing I would recommend would be for the prices to be listed on the in-store items. Often times, I will grab an item and be completely shocked at the price (very expensive). The protein bars are sometimes $4.00. Also, because the prices are not listed on the items I sometimes get the feeling that the prices change from time to time. The prices need to be listed and need to be consistent. The staff members are always very polite and welcoming. A few minor changes and I believe this mom-and-pop establishment could earn it's 5th star. read more

This neighborhood market has everything from milk To sandwiches to wine and beer and groceries. It is a little expensive but that is expected from s small business. I ordered a chicken and avocado arepa thinking it would be fresh chicken and avocado, but it was actually canned chicken that was squeezed through a condiment bottle when the sandwich was being made. Came to visit my bf in the plaza building. We wanted to order from the plaza market. 1. Their menu have no Sunday hours and when I tried to call, the phone was busy all the time. We came downstairs to physically check just in case they're open and in fact they are. My bf told them that their phone wasn't working and we were trying to order over the phone. The girl doesn't seem to care or was concern that the phone was not working. 2. After we ordered, we asked how long it would take, once again, the girl who took the order gave us a blank stare, hesitated, shaked her head and said 20 min? Customer rapport and business don't become successful with customer service like that. They need to train their employees well. read more

just ordered uber eats from this place. What a disappointment. I ordered the "Nutella dream" based on the picture which depicted a three tiered waffle with strawberries and dripping Nutella sauce. What arrived was an over-cooked flattened waffle with an entire cut up banana on it. It was the saddest waffle I had ever seen. No tiers, just one waffle which yes it had Nutella on it but I basically paid $16 for one small waffle with a whole banana on top. It should not be called Nutella dream but the "sad disappointment".
