This is again a review for the service department. Matthew was my service writer. I was in for a quick oil change (free as a part of the Jeep Wave program). He suggested I get the 35" tires rotated while I was there (also free with Jeep Wave), so ok. They don't try very hard to upsell you on other paid services, which is good. It was all completed in about one hour. My Jeep inside was still clean (no hand prints, etc). Could not ask for a better simple service experience. read more

I am updating my previous review, and unfortunately it is not for the better. In March 2024, I traded in my vehicle and worked with a salesperson who, at the time, seemed helpful. I made it very clear that I was looking for a standard 24-36 month lease. That was my expectation going into the deal. During the final walkthrough, the truck brought out was not the correct trim. I pointed this out, and I was told they had the right one available, but the payment would be higher. I agreed to the new pricing and was sent to the finance manager to complete the paperwork. Fast forward to today--I contacted the bank expecting to be near the end of my lease, only to find out I had signed a 60-month (5-year) lease!!. Who even knew that there was a 5 year lease??. That defeats the purpose of a lease!. Let me be very clear: this was never properly disclosed or explained to me at any point during the process. A 5-year lease is a PREDATORY LEASE!!!! and goes completely against what most consumers understand a lease to be. Had this been clearly presented, I would have never agreed to it. Buyers--do not rely on verbal explanations at this dealership. Review every single line of your contract, especially the lease term. I will not recommend this dealer to anyone. I stop by to get an estimate for an engine light with the code P0306 with is a misfire on cylinder number 6, they sent me an estimate for almost close to $9,000 dollars on 2015 jeep. They told me that was because of the number of parts and labor involve in fixing this vehicle. Here is the list of parts I would need for this repair, new spark plugs, $30, left head gasket, $13.00, Cylinder Head Cover Gasket, $27.00, They said I need it new lifters and tappets, with I did not. They said I need it to recover and recharge the whole ac system, with I did not, you don't need to disconnect the ac system to work on the left cylinder on the 3.6 Pentastar engine. You also don't need a new cylinder head, just take it to a machine shop to recon the head, $395 dollars. After all the work was done, I hook the scanner on the jeep and no more codes, it runs and sound like a new engine, and what's amazing is this engine only has 28k miles. My recommendation is, always get a second estimate before you give your money away. And by the way, I still pay over $600 dollars just to walk in for an estimate. read more

The service department at this place is one of the many reasons I will never by a Jeep again. I had made an appointment like two weeks in advance for a routine oil change, even took the afternoon off from work to accommodate the times they have available. I get there and the stank attitude person checking me in was like, "You're going to have to leave the car overnight..." I indicated when making the appointment that I would be waiting for the service to be completed. As I mentioned, I made this appointment well in advance. I spoke to the service manager, unconcerned and unapologetic. I talked to the general manager, useless. I even called Jeep directly to formally complain about the shop where they basically say that all of their shops in the Miami area are basically useless and that the complaint was like pouring a bottle of water into the river. This was in 2024, but I thought about it recently as I now have a different brand car... I went to my new dealer for service expecting to wait for at least an hour, but no, they had started doing the work before the representative even had the paperwork off the printer. I feel the review is still relevant because in the years I used Dadeland Dodge, I recognized it as the best of the worst... they were always slow, 90% of the time it would be a representative acting like chusma, with that obnoxious, nauseating attitude that is prominent when dealing with ignorant people in Miami, and just generally subpar when at their best. Unfortunately this is probably the best Jeep service center in Miami (which says so little, yet so much for Jeep as a brand), but I just learned to start taking it to general service centers like Firestone... it's cheaper, effective, and less of a burden. If you need a Jeep dealer, I highly recommend trying to make it somewhere outside of Miami-Dade or Broward Counties. read more

Really bad service. Brought a car to them that needed a transmission replacement that was under warranty. Of course they came up with a list of 5 other things that needed fixing for over $5k. Said no to the other repairs as I had a feeling they were trying to make extra $$, but had them do the transmission work since it was covered. Low and behold, the tech didn't put the car back together properly after replacing the transmission and the drive shaft literally fell off the car in the middle of driving it on a busy highway about 200 miles later. Could have been killed! When it was taken to a different dealership to repair, not only did they confirm that the drive shaft was not put on properly, but the exhaust was also barely reattached. AND, none of the other stuff they said needed to be fixed was what they said. Really disturbing how negligent and dishonest this dealership behaved! read more

Brought it in to get fixed. $1000 later they said it's actually not your sensors (that they said they replaced) but the RH hub (another $1200). All dashboard lights were flickering on and off and vehicle battery was near dead. Vehicle had a broken tail light and cracked windshield. Asked salesman what additional charges were not included when vehicles are sold and he informed me that a $1500 certification and dealer fee was part of the cost. i dropped my car off thursday at 8:30am and was told i would have a diagnosis within 1-2 days. radio silence until i left a voicemail on saturday and they returned my call monday to let me know that they "should" have a diagnosis by tomorrow (tuesday). so they had my car for over 4 days and nobody updated me that it would take longer than what i was told until i decided to reach out. they were not apologetic for the lack of communication or the ridiculous amount of time they had my car and did absolutely nothing towards fixing it. i'd advise you to take your car to AAP or Autozone, then to a local mechanic. unless you're willing to go days/weeks without your vehicle. i will not be returning. read more

We got a great deal we couldn't turn away from but at no point felt the urgency and uncomfortable pressure sales people usually are notorious to give off. She wrote down all the features that were important to me, including taste in color and she searched internally and externally so that she can get me the car I wanted. Customer service is ok, I bought a 2017 Red Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport & i love it. I did have an issue when I tested drives it it mande a noise from the front right wheel like something was stuck & was hitting the side of the car. So they said check it & make sure it was fixed. The guy that sold me the car was a new sells man he sold his first car with me & I bought my first car from him, he was super nice. Now going to the payment that was the issue the interest was extremely high & they didn't really help on that part. After I purchase the Jeep because I loved it & still love it I took it home & then I had to return the next week to leave it for two weeks to get the part replace (that was making the noise). And it turns out that the car was not supposed to be sold till it was repaired ‍. Anyways that was resolved but I've had to take it back in the last two years to get other parts replaced. It has been resolved but there are thing that I've had to pay for & others under warranty. The last time I had to leave it to get a part replaced they called me to pick up the car last it was almost time for them to close & when I look at the car it was completely dirty (I did not leave it like that) like they had taken it off roading, now I know obviously they have to test drive it to make sure it's ok before returning it but damn the car was more dirty then I have ever had it so dirty. Sat on it for 3 days before finally saying it was engine heads and cost would be $7000. And they wouldn't honor our extended 3rd party warranty. I took it to University Dodge where I bought the Jeep and warranty. It was a radiator and thermostat issue, fully covered by warranty. So $7000 for what? I go to return a leased Jeep Cherokee. Four guys standing in the entrance talking and drinking coffee. Tell them I am there to return a lease. One of the guys who didn't give his name and called himself "manager" tells me I have to return the car to the dealer where it was leased from. I ask him "So, if I moved to California, I have to come back to Florida to return the car?" We both laughed. Basically they lied to me. The other dealer confirmed what I already suspected. Deceptive, unethical practices and predatory! *Price was changed just because I walked in the door. I have emails, screenshots and an AMEX Auto Purchasing Price Guarantee to prove that the price was different before we started negotiating. The asking price jumped $1500 from the time I walked in the door to when we sat down to talk numbers. *They refused to honor the AMEX Auto Purchasing Program details putting them in breach-of-contract with AMEX/TrueCar. *Added ridiculous fees! Over $4000 in prep/service/detail fees! This feels incredibly predatory given the location of this dealership... The demographics of the area lead me to belive that the large portion of their clientele are payment driven and willing to accept any fees as long as the payment is affordable. *They greatly devalued my trade... I was offered 18% less for my trade than I was offered elsewhere! 15% doesn't sound like alot but in my case 15% meant almost $3000!! Somebody else may not have caught this but I have been around the Auto business and car dealerships since I was a kid. Hands-down the most blatantly careless dealer I've been to. Came in for a 2016 pre-owned Wrangler and was met with a salesman that tried to add 1k more to the advertised TrueCar price. After strongly sticking to our TrueCar quote (which included showing them the app and email certification) we were met with staff unwilling to negotiate past a $600 drop in price. The nail in the coffin was realizing the Wrangler had been left out in the rain for 73 days without its proper cover- resulting in an accumulation of rust water in the interior lower cubby in the trunk. When we shared this with the salesman and his manager, Luis, he boasted that it wasn't a big deal since the Wrangler was all weather. He continued to say that the infraction wasn't like he left the window open- which is exactly what he had done by not having a sealed soft top. Several months ago I wrote a fairly unhappy review of Planet Dodge. When I needed service again recently, I decided to come here to Dadeland Dodge Chrysler Jeep. While it is a longer drive for me to come here, I hoped the experience here at Dadeland would be better than those I had previously at the other place. One of my power windows had the drive system snap, and it fell down into the door, never to rise again when I pressed the button. This is a well known problem with one of Mopar's more popular models, and really the only thing you can do is to take it to a dealership, get the problem fixed, pay for it and then fight like mad with Chrysler to try and get them to refund at least part of your money. With this in mind, I figured I'd have this work done here, and could compare pricing and the entire experience between Dadeland and the other dealership I'd reviewed previously. The first thing I noticed here at Dadeland is that it's a fairly plain jane looking operation. No ornate buildings, gardens, fountains, overhead vine trellis work, high ceilings or chandeliers in the lobby as they have at Planet. When you walk into the service area at Dadeland it's small with about 4 cubicles set up for you to chat with a service advisor, and there's a small waiting area with a TV, water cooler, coffee machine and free wi-fi. It also has a kid's play room as well. In short, Dadeland is not the palace that the other dealership tries to be, but all the essentials are covered. The staff at Dadeland also seem a lot more down to earth and friendly. At Planet Dodge, the service advisors you meet with seem to be a bit stiff and matter of fact. Here at Dadeland Dodge Chrysler Jeep, the guys were joking, they seemed to empathize when people would speak to them about a problem they were having with their vehicle, and in one case when I was waiting, they went to bat for a customer who claimed he was being overcharged for the service they'd quoted him for. While I was in the waiting room, the service advisor also stopped in 2 or 3 times to give me updates and to check on me. At the other dealership, I sat there for about 1 1/2 hours without hearing anything from anyone, and even then they'd only done their basic diagnosis after all that time. The actual pricing for everything I had done here at Dadeland was a bit cheaper vs. the other place. The price of the oil and air filter changes I had done were about the same, but here at Dadeland, their hourly rate for service seems to be about $20/hour cheaper than Planet so the price of the repair work I had done was significantly cheaper. Also, I noticed I was in and out much faster - Everything I needed to have done was completed and I was out the door in under 2 hours. This compared to the hours long experiences I had at the other dealership. I think Dadeland Dodge Chrysler Jeep has won me over! If for no other reason than their pricing is a bit more fair, and again, their service advisors seem more down to earth and personable and they seem to get their work done a bit faster than the other place did. I must say that a few of the sales staff here were also friendly. I explained that I wasn't looking to buy, just waiting on my vehicle to be repaired, and they still took the time to chat with me and shoot the breeze while I waited, even though they knew there was no sale in it for them... read more
