We were shopping their advertised $3 and $6 bins today and actually found a MacBook Air inside one of them. We took it to the register ready to pay, but as soon as they saw what it was, they refused to sell it. The staff claimed it was "accidentally put in the bin" and refused to honor the price clearly marked for those bins. I'm going to leave it up to the viewers of this post on whether or not they want to shop here. I've been coming to Dahdoul's for a couple of years. I've gone to the Commerce location quite a few times. The warehouse is kind of dirty-looking, I always wear gloves. Yes, I've found some good deals, but at the same time, the experience may not be worth it. You are not allowed to open boxes and I understand why (people open them and make a mess). So, the announcement says to take your boxes and the cashier will open them for you. I have done that, and on one occasion I was told that the owner (who was there at the time) said they could not open boxes for me and to take the boxes with whatever is in them. This is a major issue since sometimes what the label says is not actually what is in there, scanning the label doesn't always work, or the items are broken or used. Regardless that I am a good customer, I was also told that he said if I didn't like it to leave. I should have left, but I didn't. Today, I went again. My experience was very unpleasant. There is a lady there by the name of Berta. She is extremely rude!!! She checks your boxes as if you're stealing. She will also scan the items to check their price and if it's more than what SHE thinks it should be, she will confiscate them and say she can't sell it. Today, she said she would not open more than four boxes, but she gladly opened a package that I hadn't asked her to open to make sure that I had not put extra stuff in it. In other words she was accusing me of stealing. I felt very insulted. So, customer service from her is absolutely disregarded and unfortunately , I can assume that the owner appreciates her loyalty to the him and not customer service. Anyway, I asked her for her name and she refused to give it to me. I managed to find out her name. As I was talking to the manager about my experience, which wasn't helpful as he agreed with her on not opening packages, another lady passing by told him the same thing, she is very rude! Anyway, the manager once again told me that the owner doesn't want them opening more than two boxes, which is ridiculous. So, if you go, I recommend you take gloves, an empty bladder (as there are no restrooms), be prepared to not have boxes opened, and you AVOID going to that cashier. I have not seen her smile once and she looks absolutely bitter. As for everyone else, they are quite friendly and easy-going. read more

Interesting find at amazing prices. First time visiting (Thursday) and the owner explained how his sales work. Merchandise on the left and right side of the warehouse on racks are all priced as marked & are regular merchandise. Still super cheap prices. The wooden bins in the center of the warehouse have different pricing depending on what day of the week you visit. The day's special prices are marked on the white dry erase board that is visible upon entry. The pricing structure is as follow: Friday = a warehouse full of new inventory released to the public. Highest price with most selection. Ex. $12 pants. Saturday = whatever that is left is now marked down by a %, say 50%. Ex. $6 Sunday = whatever that remains is now marked down again, say now $5 Monday = whatever that remains is marked down once more to say $4 Tuesday = whatever that remains is now marked down to $3 Wednesday = whatever that remains now is $2 Thursday = whatever that remains is now $1. On this day, something that costs you $12 if you bought it last Friday will now only cost you $1 to buy the same item ---IF it remains available for purchase. Clothes on this day often becomes "fill a whole bag for $20". Seriously a steal, if you find anything good to steal. So by Thursday, most of the stuff is sold out, only a few bins to browse through, while 3/4th of the warehouse is yellow-taped out for no-entry or no-browsing and will be made available the next day. But you seriously get the best pricing on Thursdays. I got a stack of quality 100% Egyptian cotton hand towels for $0.50 each. Even Regular priced items (on racks) were priced really good too. $6.99 Star Wars beach towels or $9.99 oversized beach towels, and $14.99 6 pc bamboo linen set just blew my mind. Definitely would return. Tips: There is an addition transaction fee charged for credit cards. No additional fees for cash/debit card. Plastic bag optional ($0.50). Fairly large parking lot in the back of the building. Shopping cart provided. Friendly owner. Merchandise sells out fast, new stuff all the time. read more

The place is pretty messy but overall it's okay. The cashier guy with the tattoos and plugs on his ears should not work in customer service. He legitimately charged us wrong and was upset that we corrected his mistake. He then begin to curse at us in front of customers. He really doesn't like his job and it shows. They carry things from women/men/kids clothes, sheets/blankets, pillows, towels, random home decor (mirrors, floating shelves, fake floral, frames/wall art), kids toys, small selection of furniture (sofas, cabinets, refrigerators, and televisions). If you're really patient to go through all the different bins you could score pretty big. It's just discouraging since there's literally hundreds of random things in each bin. Unfortunately there's no organization. They do accept credit cards. Some staff don't speak English so it's a little hard to ask for help. They also do not have restrooms for customers, FYI. This place is truly a grab bag. You may or may not find what you're looking for when coming here. Best bet is to come with low expectations so you'll have a good time. All the bins are filled with amazon returns/overstock and Sams club Members mark clothing. The amazon products are all over the place and there's no boxes or chargers to anything. The Sams club clothing are all in odd sizes, XXS and XXL and outdated from previous seasons. I was able to find two pairs of shoes for my son which I thought were $3. However when I got up to the register the lady claimed they were $6. Although the white board at front said shoes $3.. Very misleading information. Had I known I wouldn't have spent half an hour looking for Sams club brand shoes. They have a ton of home goods like bedding, area carpets and drapes. They seem to manufacture their own brand though so I'm not sure of the quality. Some items looks decent while others felt thin and cheap. I didn't purchase any of the home items so I can't forsure say, but you could see for yourself. All in all, if you're looking for random odds and ends this might be the place for you. I recently visited this location. I wanted to buy some blankets for myself and my children. upon arriving, you can tell everything was all over the place. All the shelves were Ramsack, and they had very minimum selection. I purchased three blankets. When I arrived at home I proceeded to wash them based off on the instructions on the tag. All the blankets shed more than a Siberian husky. The quality is so bad that no matter what you do the shedding does not stop my niece and nephew have asthma and they cannot have a blanket that is constantly shedding in their face. I called the warehouse and they were extremely rude. they advise that I made my purchase and I have to keep it Even after explaining the situation they advise that they can't do anything because it's not their name brand so I have to keep it or I throw it away. I will not purchase anything from this location anymore. Their items are very low quality. I do not advise parents to buy their kids blankets at this location. They refused to give me a refund and wanted me to forcefully buy other items from the store or exchange them. This purchase is a total loss. I will be contacting my bank to dispute the transaction as the items are not usable and should be granted a refund. read more

The owner/managers is misogynistic. During my 1st visits, right when I entered the warehouse, I saw him screaming at his young employee in front of all the customers and staff. The tone and gestures he was used while yelling at her was very dehumanizing, which caused a scene. As I was walking around he walked to other employees and began to talk to them about the girls mistake, which is very unprofessional as a manager to be talking others about a specific employee. After the first interaction, he then went again and yelled at her for the same mistake more than once. He continued to make gestures and faces that are uncalled for. I reached in my pocket and pulled out my Oakley sunglasses . I was told O.k. I then confronted Anthony the owner of the Commerce location . I told him that I did not like that I was being accused of taking or shoplifting . I told him that my son is a deputy with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. Bin sales are great, I just haven't had any luck with the electronics, so I wouldn't buy electronics unless it's completely sealed . every electronic I've bought did not work. Air fryer, carpet washer, smart watch, hair dryer and a few other things . The good thing is I was able to return it all without any hassle and get something of equal value. The only thing I wasn't able to return was a drone that was over $100 because I had only 48hrs to return and I had to work the next 3 days, so I'm stuck with it but that's not their issue I guess. Everything that wasn't electronic worked well and I'm extremely happy with those purchases. The ladies ringing out are always friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking in the back. So why the 2 star? Because the gentleman JACOB in the electronics department is extremely rude.
