We called the highly trusted high-end restoration shop we use in Barrington (Body Shop of Barrington) and asked owner Paul who he knew that could expertly refinish the seats. Without hesitation he said, "Oh, you need to call Dean. He'll show up in his car, which he works out of, and in short order your damaged upholstery will look like new." Since Paul is a 'trusted resource' to our circle of exotic car owners, we thought we would give Dean a call. We did and the next day he showed up, worked quietly in our garage, and 90 minutes later the seats looked as good, or frankly better, than they did when they arrived on the Ferrari showroom floor 15 years ago. They looked, simply, rediculously great! They simply could not, conceivably, look any better. And it didn't even cost a lot of money. If it gets any better than this, great service, at a reasonable price, from a funny guy (there were some laughs...) then my wife and I have never encountered it. Period.

It was very important to me that the person who would do so would be well versed in this period of Cadillac and would have access to the information required to duplicate the interior to the exact factory specifications, including use of the correct materials.
