Ordered a 24 piece tenders and paid $40. I received bits and pieces and tiny tenders. It really resembled a box of popcorn chicken. Taste was good, but not what I expected. Never going back. read more

Super little restaurant located in a very low key building. Double burger was delicious and no known chain hamburger can even come close in taste and/or presentation. I saw a man eating a banana split and it also looked great! Without a doubt it was a diabetics nightmare! Pricing was very competitive. Service was top notch as well. Working in area and stoped here a couple of times . Burger good one day not so the second day. Skip the fries they seemed undercooked, fried green beans are a must. The only negative is they got kids running every thing. Don't give them a 100 bill it will definitely shut the momentum down. Traveling through TN looked through reviews & stumbled upon this little gem. We're so happy we made the stop. Such friendly staff & my husband, daughter & I loved the food! We ordered cheeseburgers (sooo good), fries, fried peach pie (which my husband said while eating, "They know how to make a fried pie, tastes like what my grandma used to make."), & of course had to get ice-cream which was so very good. Just wanted to update my first review which I did when we first moved to the area. Three years later, I can confidently say . . . Dairy D'Lite has the best shakes in the area. It is our go to place for ice cream. The other food our family has tried from the menu (burgers, fries, sandwiches) is basic and expected, but consistently good. The exception is the pickles chips; they are excellent. There has been a remodel, which added much needed indoor and outdoor dining. The decor is stark, the furniture mismatched, but not sure if it would increase business as it is always busy. Overall, a great family run small business! read more

Dairy Delite is a cozy, country burger and sandwich place. It's not "themed" country like somewhere like Cracker Barrel hangs random farm implements around the place. It's more a pick-up truck driving, salt-of-the-earth family's place for great sandwiches and ice cream sundaes/banana splits. The small TV in the corner is turned to CMT with the sound off. And I believe it sits on a freezer that they keep the fries in. So, you get the idea. I've been three times so far. Corn dogs are standard fare. The house burger, called something like the Big John or something, is decent enough, but I'm a bit of a burger snob and it wasn't amazing. The Philly cheese steak is good, but not the hot mess that is conjured in my mind when I think of one. My wife has had the taco burger, which was really good. Any fries, onion rings, curly fries, or tater tots can be smothered in chili, sautéed onions, jalapeños, etc. But really, though the food is quite good, you came here for the atmosphere and ice cream. Get the banana split. Just do it. Sure the sundaes are good and all, but get the banana split. It's huge to the point it should be a meal replacer and is only $3.50. I've had the banana split twice, and walnut ice cream with caramel the other time. I've tasted off other family memeber's desserts and the only one that fell short was the orange sherbet shake my daughter ordered. What does she expect making up a weird combo like that? Last time she got the orange sherbet with hot fudge on top, which actually was interesting. They also have homemade fried pies, but you came here for ice cream. The workers/owners are friendly but since your food is fresh it'll take a while to come out. If you're using your card to pay, make sure to tell them to add the tip in before they run it. I'm guessing they don't take checks, as is the norm for places like this. Also possible useful info, since they will let you hang out and take up a table for as long as you like, you can just walk up to the register at any time and they'll ring you up. Like many Mexican restaurants, they seem to not bring the bill so that you won't feel rushed out, but everything is ready and waiting at the register. It's a good place to take people who are from out of town to shock them with the rural feel, and then when the food comes they end up really liking the place. read more

Good burgers. Fries aren't the greatest, always taste kinda freezer burned. Salads are good, hot wings not bad. Not a great dining area, but I like taking mine home anyway. They've been there several years now so they must do a lot right. Close to home, fast service and always friendly. Can't beat them for a quick lunch or a lazy evening when you don't feel like cooking. I keep going back, haven't had a bad meal. Million times better than the poor fast food places in town. Food and service are amazing. Everything I've had so far has been DELICIOUS. They are so friendly there and food is done as quick as possible. They use real beef and have good old fashioned ice cream in a variety of flavors and tons of toppings. They'll tweak dishes for you. Only drawback is there isn't much dine in seating but it's worth it. Menus are bright and extensive. There is so much to choose from! Lots of parking, easy to find on the main road.
