Me, my wife and kids went here on a Saturday. I'm not a huge superhero fan, so this place wasn't at the top of my list. Bottom line up front: I am super glad I went, the food was great and reasonably priced. The interior is covered with comic book paraphernalia and decorations, some homemade and others professional. We were promptly seated and my kids received a cup of crayons, which was nice. The wife ordered the chicken salad (which had a large portion size and she raved over the taste), I got the 'Huntsvillian', which is a burger loaded down with fried jalapeños, spicy pepper jack and 'sweet heat pepper jelly' which usually isn't my jam (pardon the pun :V) but was delicious. Kids got kids' meals, and the chicken and fries were very good (chicken was moist) and the kids mac-n-cheese was exceptional. The price was great - two adults and two kids for $40 before tip can't really be beat (the kids meals are very affordable). I would 100% come back here and I would absolutely give this place a shot (even if you aren't a fan of comics but especially if you are). They recently revamped their menu items and the quality is much higher than it used to be - give it a shot again if you've previously tried it and not liked it. My one downside is the menu is a little hard to read and find what you want to eat. Because everything has a cartoon themed name and flavor text description, it takes a while to process what an item is after reading it. I would humbly suggest they use some AI art sites to create pictures of items in a comic book style so they can stay on brand but also help easily identify food. The most minor of gripes. read more

I recently went to a place down the street from where I live. I have seen it before but you know, driving down Winchester is a feat in itself, let alone trying to get to a place on Winchester. I did get into the parking lot and took a trip inside. As soon as I get in, the waitstaff greeted me and suggest I take a seat anywhere...which I like because I am a bigger guy and like to sit with a lot of space. I sat so that I was looking at the screen, that was playing Antman:Quantamania. There a really good seating so that everyone can watch the screen so that was awesome also. I went with the mozzarella sticks and Classic Burger...can't go wrong with the classics, right. The burger was not overcooked! Which is what I usually get when I order medium. It was a full burger and seasoned fries. Really good burger! The sticks were not too hot, which also is a good thing because I never had a time when I wanted to munch on molten lava; the perfect t Reno to get a good pull from the cheese and the marinara was not cold. I was really satisfied as I looked around at all the comic memorabilia while munching and watching Antman. I will go again as this was such a great experience! read more

This is the Burger Man with the Best Burgers in America Association, and I was invited to come and score a burger for them. The burger was awesome, with a fresh, hand-patted patty grilled to perfection. The toppings were fresh as well. The only thing that hurt their score was that it was over seasoned. But it was still an awesome burger. A very neat restaurant with a Super Hero & Comic Book theme. It would be a neat place to do birthday parties for kids and even adults. Okay I even said yes having to drive from Madison. The waitress was phenomenal. Super nice and never far away. We had a party of 5 and every order was correct and no one had to wait for food. We did make one mistake by getting the fried pickles. They were delicious and there were a lot of them. We ordered from the menu and special requests. All were perfect. The temperature of the meat was as ordered. And it was a lot of food, a lot. Comic book themed. Menu and walls. I'm old so I had to use the bathroom. There was a shower in there. I'm a vegetarian and my friend took me here and has eaten here several times. The staff said I could order anything and they would substitute the meat with a black bean burger. Yum! Great place to eat! The decor is so fun, it has all the different super heroes displayed everywhere--even on the ceiling light covers. You'll need a minute to look over the exceptional entertaining menu. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable, the service was prompt and accurate. Supper Heroes is one of the greatest hidden food places in Huntsville. It's a little bit off the beaten track. But it really makes up for it in atmosphere and the staff are extremely friendly and will brighten anybody's day. This place is just nostalgia soup, if you were a comic book fan, you will love the decor. The food is really good too, lots of creative dishes with funny names. After losing toy box bistro, I think this is our only option for really geeky food. read more

This is place is a dive in the true and best sense of the word. The service was good, quick, and polite. The Beatdown burger wasn't Beatdown at all. The melted blue cheese combined with the grilled sweet onions was amazing. I didn't really taste the cajon seasoning much but it still had great flavor. It came with fries and some really good slaw. This place is amazing! The theme is attractive to both kids and adults alike! A welcome change to the dining venues that look alike and taste alike. The menu has a variety of food from salads to burgers and the best cheese fries appetizer. The Yard Bird salad has awesome seasoned blackened chicken with deviled egg on top in a really tasty seasoned flour tortilla bowl. The Luau Burger had a whole pineapple ring on a juicy burger patty....so good! The kids menu was cool that came with a drink and a Little Debbie dessert! Very friendly and attentive service. I was heading home from work and looking for something to pick up for dinner. Found this place on Yelp and decided to try it out based upon its raving reviews. I'm not a big fan of comics so the theme didn't appeal to me; I ended up placing an order by phone rather than dining in. I was promptly greeted by the young lady at the checkout stand and my food was ready when I arrived. I ordered the fried green tomatoes app and the 'Bat Outta Hell' burger that came with fries and cole slaw. The fried green tomatoes were hot but certainly not fresh and way too salty. Those came served with some sort of jam sauce and a ranch-horseradish sauce. Unfortunately I couldn't enjoy them with the sodium-explosive tomatoes. The BOH burger was just okay, not the worst but not great either. It came with 2 pieces of bacon wrapped rectangular meatloaf patties that reminded me of the Stouffers meatloaf patties (without the gravy). Other than the sirarchi glaze on it, the sandwich was pretty tasteless; I ate half of it before discarding. Fries were cold. I had one bite of the coleslaw and immediately threw it away because it was warm. $14 bucks easily wasted. This may be the best thing since sliced bread for their area but Supper Heroes didn't save the day (or supper) for me. I was highly disappointed in the quality of my food. read more

I have been in Huntsville for two years and didn't know that this place existed. I pass by it numerous time a week and finally by fate discovered it! This hole in the wall restaurant is definition of why you should support local owned establishments. The decor takes you back to childhood with floor to ceiling comics book and superhero memorabilia. The food is equally as good! I had the Huntsvillan, a spicy pepper jack cheese, fried jalapenos & sweet heat pepper jelly on a grilled brioche bun. It was phenomenal! The better half tried the Bubba Cluck, Cajun seasoned fries smothered in cheddar cheese, topped with smoked chicken & drizzled with our house BBQ sauce. This made for two meals shared by both of us. And the kid had The New Timey Kid's Meal, a 3 oz hamburger with American cheese. Our kid is one of the most critical eaters that I have ever met and she absolutely loved it! Our server was absolutely terrific and went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. We will definitely be back!!! read more
