I was most excited for my porterhouse and broccoli, hoping to recapture the Brown Derby "magic" from 20 years ago. Instead, the steak came out super thin, overcooked, and with almost no flavor, paired with plain steamed broccoli. I asked for garlic butter and added salt and pepper to both, and it still didn't help much. With so many decent dining options in the area, it's disappointing that this renovation opening didn't deliver where it matters most: the food. Living in Berea, I was really hoping Brown Derby had found that old spark again, but based on this visit, they're not there yet.
