It's the cheers of liquor stores. May have new owners recently. Not sure. Only negative is they sometimes offer to get something special ordered and it never happens. Love this place. I usually find what I'm looking for. I've asked a couple times for special wines that they will get in for me. They usually do. I'm waiting now for an Italian one now. I've found chocolates and crackers and other things as well. I collect the miniature glass Alcohol bottles and they have a great selection. Owners are friendly and knowledgeable. Went in to visit this local liquor store, I didn't know my experience would be so disappointing. The lady behind the counter asked if I needed help, as if she has never seen a millennial adult in there 30s in a liquor store before. I told her I was looking for a popular,new beer for Father's Day she stopped the conversation and walked away. She watched me all throughout the store. I used to bartend so I knew what I was looking for. I felt so uncomfortable. Won't be going back. Please work on your customer service skills. read more

They only accept cash for liquor sales. It's 2013, who carries cash?? Ridiculous. I realize that they might be trying to circumvent the credit card charges, but the prices were not discounted enough to justify a marginalization like that. They try to point you to the ATM (which they probably own) by the front door. Underhanded business practice. Update 3/8/2014: I received a thorough email from the owner, explaining the ins and outs of why they do not accept credit cards (still no idea why they wouldn't accept debit) and have decided to up my review to three stars. In light of the fact that the employees I dealt with were rather nonchalant about the fact that they would not accept our cards, and provided no explanation as to why, or any apology for the perceptible inconvenience, I don't think I can go higher than three. read more

Pretty slick beer selecetion. Im never out this way much but on a way to a part-ay I Yelped beer and this place came up! I picked up a 5 Rabbit latin style, unfiltered jobby with the recomendation of the dude at the counter (whom was super cool and energetic about beer). Only looses one star from me because its a tad pricey. There was a Kentucky Bourbon (peach?) 4-pack for 15.00! Crack is cheaper... I guess Im just bummed that in the past 10 years Ive seen the price of craft beers literally double. Nothing has changed about the process or ingredients but every fad has to be exploited. "I Live Off You" by X Ray Specs sums it up nicely.. P.s. I see that people docked stars for not accepting cash? Your an adult...carry some cash on you. This is a great one-stop-shop beverage store. They have a wide selection of liquors, beers (craft, domestic, foreign, exotic- what have you) and a nice variety of mixers. Their prices are decent and the owners are friendly people whose honesty and candor clearly show they do care about their business. I really appreciate that. One thing that tripped me up is that you must pay for liquor in cash, no charge accepted. Did you get that, Yelp? CASH ONLY FOR LIQUOR. Now I guess most locals know this (it's a state law) but for those of us that aren't local and don't know it can be a shocking and unpleasant surprise once you get to the register, pockets void of dollar bills and your credit card thrown on the counter. Best wine store around and the owners really know their stuff! If you are in the Cleveland Area, and need a great wine variety or specialty beer definitely go here because the owners not only are extremely knowledgeable but they are also more than willing to help you. Just give them a price range and they will help you select something great no matter what your budget! Our family also bought all the liquor for a wedding here, And it was a good price. They are a local shop which Helps you support "buy local" and if you go here often enough they do remember you which gives it a nice neighborhood feel. Excellent, classy layout of premium booze. Some liquor stores can feel a little bit, how you say, like a hillbilly house full of shit. Not here. It was very clean and well thought out. Saw lots of brands I had never seen before locally. Including the Pussers Rum I bought. It's the official rum of the British royal navy. I don't even like rum. But they sold me on the pedigree. It fit right in down in my basement Explorers Bar. Also got some Shiner White Wing Belgian. Beer cooler was pretty decent, but I was mostly on the hunt for the hard stuff. The clerk was way friendly and didn't hassle me while I walked the aisles about a hundred times trying to pick something. Great place. read more
