In any case, it was disconcerting. And the jus was much plainer than I'm used to, as well. This was my first time at their physical location. Deli Feel: The deli has NYC deli feel - subway tiles and vintage deli art. Think a nice Italian elevated deli. It doesn't seem that there is A/C at this location or at least it's not running at its capacity. There were ceiling fans operating but on a hot summer day it was toasty. The restaurant offers tables and booths. I observed that most guests found themselves comfortable in booths. Around 1 PM on a weekday there was a steady crowd dining in and ordering takeout. Ordering: Your order is placed and picked up at the back counter. Signage is a bit disorienting. Think Penn Station type layout. You can also pre-order online. My order was ready quickly. I observed that other guests had to wait awhile. Orders were not called in the numerical order. If you have a large or complex order or are pressed for time, I recommend exploring online ordering.
