This place is consistently super slow service and subpar food. The inside is so stuffy and hot, I feel bad for the employees who have to work there! There's a sign on the thermostat warning employees to not adjust the temperature so it's very uncomfortable inside for patrons and employees alike. They only fill the blizzards about 3/4 full and are very stingy with the toppings. I literally had 2 strawberries in my $6-7 medium Royal blizzard. They also charge for pup cups where most DQs give them free to dogs. The tacos here are almost always stale and your cones will have hardly any ice cream, regardless of the size you order. I came today to get some lunch for my family. All of the tables were dirty, the guy working the register either didn't know what he was doing or just didn't care. Took forever just to get the order in. Then all of the fountain drinks were out of order. We waited 15 minutes in the lobby for our food. Once we got the food it was ok. The entire staff was playing around the entire time. Yelling out profanities. It's supposed to be a family establishment and yet they just were dropping F-bombs left and right. Idk if there is anyone over the age of 18 working but someone thought it would be a good idea to put a dog on the counter. Definitely go to a different location. As we all know it's been stupid hot here in Texas and all I wanted was a mini blizzard. So my husband and I jumped in our car and headed over. I had ordered a mini blizzard and when they gave it to me they flipped it and got ice cream all over my hand and car handed it to me and stared at me. I asked for napkins and they were like uh ok. This is one of the worst Dairy Queen's I've been to in a long time. I was the only one in the drive-thru and no one came to the window for at least 5 minutes and there was only one person inside that I could see the lady that did come to the window seemed to be in training, but not one of the three employees I saw there came to help her. Side tried to take my order of a small cheeseburger. It took her ten minutes to try and key it in and finally and employee did it for her. I was patient. Then I got the burger! I was totally disappointed. The cheese tasted like plastic( indication of that fake stuff), the veggies were skimpy and not fresh. I never get DQ tea. It is always bad. I want to start this review off by giving a disclaimer. I'm 7 months pregnant and way more emotional and im easily frustrated. I went to this location around 9pm to order my usual pregnancy craving. The Royal Reeces Brownie Blizzard. When the order taker repeated my order they got it wrong so I corrected them. When I got to the window the girl there repeated it incorrectly yet again. So I corrected her again and she said "oh yeah thats it." When I was handed my blizzard it was not what I ordered and I could tell instantly. So I told her and she took it around the corner and came back saying they put the brownie in there. I told her it still wasn't correct because the peanut butter wasn't even in there. So she went back aroud the corner and added peanut butter, which was poorly distributed through the blizzard. Yes she did try to "fix" it but honestly what should have been done was the entier thing be remade correctly. That would have been good customer service. I took it and left because I didn't want to argue with her. I get home and its not even close to what it should be. It doesn't even taste like it has Reeces in it oh and surprise there are no brownies in it. About 3 years ago was the last time I ate at this DQ. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap. Took one bite, it tasted "off". Took another bite and spat it out. No more than an hour or so later, I was hurling food I had the week before, if you know what I mean. I was so sick. Yes, went to the hospital. Yup, it was food poisoning. They've recently renovated. It's sad that this Dairy Queen has been renovated and is still terrible as far as service. No problems with the food, but we mostly stick with ice cream when we go. Which is not very often because of the service. They have plenty of employees but everything is incredibly slow. The interior was nice right after they reopened but it went downhill quickly. Bathrooms were dirty and there's water all over the floors. With DQ being such a recognizable icon of Texas you would think they would put more work into training their employees. read more

If i could give them 0 stars i would. I've been here before never had any issues. Today i arrived at 7:31pm went through the drive through to order, started keep track of time at 7:32 waited.. then i started saying hello multiple times still no answer. 7:36 i decided to pull a round to the window, i only see one worker and he's helping customers inside. A minute later i see 2 other employees come out from the back one male who has AirPods in and a female who looks like she was eating rather than working. Then after they walk by another female finally comes by the window @ 7:38pm and puts the headset on for the drive through then comes to the window to ask what i ordered just for me to tell her I've been waiting for someone to take my order because no one is doing their damn job. I wasn't expecting a top of the line dining experience since it is fast food, but after this particular store was out for renovations for a while...my family and I thought it would be nice to grab some ice cream as an after dinner treat. It started with the cashier at the intercom, super impatient and rude to my husband ordering the ice creams for us and our 3 children. Then when we got up to the window we saw two of our ice creams just sitting on the table melting away while the woman, Savana B., stood at the computer for over 5 mins... we are not impatient people...but this was not a typical wait time...Once the widow opened she read back the order as per usual... totaling $13.48. My husband handed her a DQ gift card for $15.. she stood there again staring at the card holding it like it was a foreign object she'd never seen before... all the while the rest of our ice creams melted on the table behind her... no rush on her part...anyway...So there was a bit of cash left on the card and we asked for a cup of whip cream to even the trade... what was left on the card in exchange for the extra topping... OMG! You would have thought we asked for a tub of uranium or something! She mumble something about not being able to charge us for that, so we asked if a small ice cream would suffice... but it was a bit over what was left on the card.. so no worries, we figure a bit of whipped cream would do... well after she stumbled over her words looked around aimlessly at the other employees like our request was so ridiculous... omg not extra whipped cream in exchange for money!!!! ... She finally decided to give us our 5 ice creams... all melted of course, but still yummy. And we ended up getting a small squirt of whip cream in a clear plastic sunday cup for $1.38 plus tax! DO NOT visit this location! Bad service and poor quality of foods. Blizzards are usually served semi-melted, burgers are the worse (lettuce are soggy, bun squashed, bacon like dried up jerky). I wish I can give a "minus" star!!! They don't even deserve one star. It was a drive-thru order and you wouldn't never thought you should open your bag and check the foods so it wasn't until I got home and found out the burger was all mushy and soggy, like a left-over burger you left in your fridge overnight and just simple reheated in the microwave type of burger!!! I will never ever going to visit this location again. I never leave negative comments nor bother to leave comments in public sites, but I think people need to be aware how bad their service and foods are.
