Worst dairy queen location.... 27 minutes at the drive-thru for a mini blizzard, they are rude... Just give up and close down this location

Well I was super excited to try this new location but it was a disappointment. The first time I ordered the taco combo and the taco shells were stale! The second time around I ordered the belt buster burger and it was cold. Young staff and needs more friendly employees with better quality food. read more

5 people behind the counter but no one is trained to actually take your order. When we finally ordered our order was wrong upon arrival. Take the burger back to fix it and they don't fix it all the way... have to go back yet again to fix my order. 7 months pregnant and can't even enjoy my food. I am a lifelong D.Q. patron and I also realize that we are in trying times. That being said, the location in Cypress Texas is giving the whole company a bad name. They told me tonight that I needed to wait 5 minutes to place an order after I waited in line for 10 minutes already. I was then told that there were only 3 workers to cover both the dining room and the kitchen/drive thru. So I asked if I could order inside and after pausing for a moment, she said the ding room had just closed...at 8:39pm. So sad that lying to the customers is encouraged by management. read more

I go specifically for the chicken and steak baskets! The chicken is on special sometimes and the steak is more pricey but worth it! The chicken fried steak is perfectly seasoned, moist and crispy! The fries and gravy were amazingA cant forget about that toast! I also treated myself to a starkiss popsicle! You know your a mom when you have "a spot", for when your son completes his potty charts. Basically when he poops we all win! And a trip to the local DQ we go! I've been here twice now and both times I've gotten amazing service. Both times I've been helped by the same gentlemen with glasses, tall and black curly hair. He is always so nice to us and especially my son, def service with a smile, he even did a little dance when he brought over our mini blizzard. This is the worst Dairy Queen I have been to. I've given them several chances but every time they mess up my order. Today I ordered a taco salad and found a hair in it, I told one of the girls about it then they brought me a chicken salad totally different from what I had originally ordered. The service is AWFUL. I'm afraid I'm joining the crowd. Wish I'd seen this earlier. Stopped to get a peanut buster parfait - at 3 in the afternoon on Saturday. Waited almost 15 minutes in the drive thru to place order, then 10 more minutes to reach the window, 4 minutes to take the money and another 5 minutes to get the ice cream. We didn't order anything weird or unusual. It was ONE item, and a standard ice cream item at that. Nothing to cook or anything. And, after all, this is Dairy Queen. The service is possibly the worst I've ever had anywhere. I wouldn't go there again if they paid me, called me in advance to take the order and delivered it to the car. They simply suck. Find another place. I recommend Freddy's, just east about 3 miles on FM529. Better food, MUCH better service. read more

We went in to get a ready made birthday cake tonight Jan 7th. The majority of the cakes were dated Dec 2nd so they were not able to sell us the our 1st, 2nd, 3rd+ options. However, we were able to get the cake that DIDN'T have a date on it but a more expensive price and the store wouldn't honor the price of the cake that we wanted which was $5 less. read more

I went to Dairy queen on 529 and try to get my daughter something to eat before Taekwando class. The guy taking my order had the audacity to ask me to wait a minute. I waited 3 minutes while I listens to him talking to other employees. Once I ordered the food took a few min. I'm glad I tasted a,little, the fries were stale and the steak fingers were absolutely rancid and inedible. I'll never visit this location again and I recommend that you not waste your money or time, unless you want to throw an 8$ meal in the trash and send your kid to Taekwando hungry. read more

1st time here and came thru the drive thru and ordered a single cone and dipped cone. the price is about .10-.20 more than the other Katy location but when we received it, it was bigger than expected. would go back again had no issues. read more

Seems like they don't stock up on menu items especially limes for the strawberry limeade which I love. Hopefully they'll get better.

Please explain why I received my kids meal in a bag ripped. I'm sure someone in the store removed the coupons off. I've given this location a few chances to get it right. I will not be visiting this location again. The services are horrible. I'm wondering how can the General Manager review these comments and do nothing to make it better. Ordered the Oreo cookie ice cream cake. This DQ has only been open a few weeks. The cashier didn't know the cakes were half off. Of course the cake looked nothing like the picture. I asked to buy more crush Oreos to put on top the cake because it was looking a little bare. They wouldn't sell it to me. This is not even the worst Dairy Queen this is the worst fast food establishment ever, went through the drive through and 3 different people were speaking over the mic as I ordered food. Food was cold and gross and fries were soggy. Not to mention the architectural disaster that is this place. The drive through is riddled with tire scrapes and is notorious for ruining rims no matter how good of a driver you THINK you are if you value your car DO NOT GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THROUGH. We ordered two burger combos. The meat was very dry, dark and thin. The meat obviously is pre cooked and had been sitting somewhere for a while. Both me and my husband had stomach cramps and ending up in the bathroom if you get my drift. Then that was followed by Pepto Bismol. We have tried this location a couple of times in the past and did not receive good service, but the food wasn't that bad. Well this was my last time that I will be paying for bad service and food.
