They ask for your order, but never ring it up because they ask you to repeat the order at the window. It seems like the workers do not know the menu and never have the answers to any questions. Its Sunday February 4th around 6pm. I just drove through the drive-thru of this Dairy Queen. I sat at the speaker for awhile and no one Answered. I drove up to the drive thru window and all of the interior lights are turned off. I drove to the end of the restaurant where witnesses 2 customers walk into the dark restaurant and turn around quickly. The restaurant is unlocked and open to anyone. There are Zero employees either. If someone knows the owner maybe relay the information to them. I verified on Yelp that they would normally be open until 9pm read more

Why does this only have 1 star. The food and serves was good. The blizzard was delicious. I ordered chicken and dumpling. I know you are probably thinking the same thing as me, "why order c&d at DQ." But you want what you want when you want it! So I decided to try it. It was surprisingly very good. (Not as good as my homemade c&d but a solid 4. My husband ordered a hunger buster combo. The burger looked very good. My husband said it was very good. It was better than his Whataburger he had recently. Ow on to the blizzards! came to pick up lunch for me and 2 other coworkers. I was really craving a hotdog and decided to try their chili cheese dog and even upgraded to the XL. This chili cheese dog was really bad. The bread was so dry like it was sitting out with no lid. I am a little disappointed with that. The fries tasted reheated and my coworkers even said it was no bueno. I'm digging through my camera roll to find a photo of the chili dog, but I think I deleted it wasn't the most appealing thing out there. It's so conveniently close to my house and the quality is very good. I have had other dairy queens that weren't as good. The service is fast and the staff is nice. After a Stros game this past week, it was still hot and decided to take my granddaughter to grab a burger and cone. Of course I think of Dairy Queen! I was sorely disappointed. The restaurant was hot, like the a/c was off or broke and the place was dirty. The team members looked like they were confused and not exactly customer-centric. I would say maybe give them another shot but this was my third trip and it has gotten progressively worse, not better. Um, yea...I care to revise my previous statements about not only this location but dairy queen in general. Before I was rating based on blizzards but even those notions are melting like Antarctic glaciers. 1/5th of a blizzard full of cookie dough is obnoxious, seriously?! That's like 5 or 6 pieces, and they weren't even mixed, they were all on top. My wife, who had a pregnant craving, was spitting nails. So thanks for that Dairy Queen. But my M&M blizzard was loaded so no complaints from me, but I made the mistake of getting the chicken strip basket. I used to eat pretty bad growing up. I guess I ate DQ chicken strip baskets a lot, because I remember they were different. The crust wasn't as thick but it was still crunchy. Now it is mostly crust and it's inedible. The chicken isn't as juicy, and it's not seasoned well; it's bland and frankly nasty. I would put it near McDonald's nasty. Even whataburger, a place that's narcissistic enough to declare it's own burger amazing in it's title (it's not), has better chicken tenders than DQ, even though it's almost sacrilegious to order tenders at a burger joint, i.e. they're under no obligation to make good tenders (they're bad). The gravy was super thin and runny, like water. Unacceptable. The fries had no salt or pepper. Gross. Service is still bad, it's has long enough to improve. This is not the DQ I remember. read more

Have not been here many times but there are hardly any customers no matter when I come. I was the only one inside the business besides workers. The counter person I encountered was rude as he can be. He didn't say a thing when I came in. I placed an order for $13 worth of food and put a $20 bill on the counter and assumed he would take it as payment but he got upset that I didn't put it in his hand??? I said that I put a $20 right there and he said his hand was right there??? What is that about??? Needless to say I promptly turned around and left. This was bu far the most horrible fast food expierence I've ever had! There was a light skinned young African American guy that was super rude at the drive thru window.. He was annoyed because I had a rather large order and asked anything else at the end with a messed up attitude! After they gave me an incomplete order I backed up and asked for the rest and still with an attitude he asked if I made sure to check the bags again! I really hope he reads this because he needs an attitude adjustment and a class in customer service! If I could give this place zero stars I would. The lobby says it closes at 9pm, but it really closes when the employees no longer feel like working, which was before 8:45. Tonight was awful. Several customers left the line. There was a young Hispanic man in black car yelling & cursing at some other people in the parking (don't know who they were customers friends who knows). For whatever the reason we were stuck in a "fast food" line FOREVER because the drive through is locked in. Truly ridiculous. Be forewarned don't visit this location in the evenings- this is was approximately the same time as the previous review 8:10-8:50. That's how long we were stuck in line. Corporate really needs to intervene - especially with that one young man. If I could give one star I would. I went last Thursday asked for my fries to be well done and got barely cooked fries. Went today to talk to a manager about it and the Asst Manager stared at me like she had no clue. I asked for the general manager and was treated so poorly I've already called the ADQ. I told him the story of my fries and showed him pictures. He told me they don't remake orders without a receipt and I told him I was never given one. He told me he would replace it but when I asked for a receipt so I could do the survey he ripped up the receipt told me that he wasn't making my order and pushed it to the back off the warmer. I asked for his name and he refused to give it to me. Walked to the back of the store and never came out. Told me I couldn't have my food. TOTALLY DISGUSTED! Went to drive through and ordered some food and banana split ice cream. Been here several times with no issues, but today I encountered a very disgusting banana split ice cream i ordered. I noticed that the banana was covered in ice cream and chocolate. No biggie. I started eating as I dug in to cut the banana piece, it looked soggy and tasted funny. Upon inspection, I didn't realized the banana was very soggy and brown almost blackish in color. I felt nauseous and sick to my stomach after seeing all of that and didn't bother to finish t. Haven't been here before and was pleasantly surprised. Steak fingers baskets were better than I remember. My picky 14yo son had a burger and loved it. Food came out and delicious. Wait wasn't bad as food is made when you order so I don't think I would drive thru. The inside is very updated and modern. They have a freezer section with to go cakes. Employees very pleasant.
