Like most DQs they don't pay their employees much and quality, cleanliness, and speed suffers because of it. The Last time I went (the last for sure), employee took order and I waited 25 minutes, finally asked what was wrong and they said that the order didn't make it back to cook. That is because the person taking the order couldn't enter it because it didn't exist on the menu (3 piece fish). The manager apologized blaming the employee, and made a two piece fish dinner at the price I paid for the 3 piece, and still took another 20 minutes. 45 minutes total. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I hate leaving bad reviews but this place has set the fast food industry bar so low it's in hell. When we first arrived we watched the manager on duty rinse her hands with the water tap on the soda machine. Gross. With a party of only three people it took the lady 15 minutes to take our extremely simple order and us repeating ourselves 4 times. It took another 20 for our food to come out. My husband's fries were missing when he mentioned wanting them twice. We got a "sorry, oh well" instead of trying to make their mistake right. We watched the manager, the girl who took our order and the girl who brought our food out talking about us behind the counter. I rather go literally anywhere else but here ever again. Ordered a hungerbuster jr meal all the way with grilled jalapeños, onion rings and drink. Lady had my order and another guys on same platter, gave him one order( which was mine) and then when she brought me the other one I told her I ordered onion rings not fries. She was literally going over to the other guy to switch them after he had taken a bite. I said no, he already ate from it. Stopped here yesterday afternoon and couldn't get anyone to take my order. Young lady behind counter was talking to someone else who had already ordered - they were laughing, talk8ng about life, the young lady's baby daddy leaving her.... then a Hispanic male behind the counter came up and joined the conversation. All while I continued to stand there and foe about 5 minutes. Then I go outside and decide yo try the drive thru; there were 2 cars ahead of me. I waited about 5 minutes for someone to take my order but no one did, probably because everyone was still chatt8ng and not caring about their customers. Avoid this place and either drive to sonic in Columbus, like I did, or get something at Buccees, but this DQ doesn't care enough about their customers. Apparently it takes 24 hours to make ranch. Gave me gravy even after I said I don't like gravy. Had told me it takes a while to make ranch and I said I would wait. Waited 20 mins grabbed food got home and got gravy. Called and I supposedly "misheard" that she couldn't give me the ranch and then said it takes 24 hours to make ranch and it wouldn't be ready until the next day. The worst DQ you'll ever visit! I've worked in the area for over a year now and have experienced multiple issues with this place. Wrong orders occasionally happen, but it's the wait time I've encountered on several trips here. Today set me over when the guy explained it was a "we're still getting used to our new system" excuse, while I watch other customers come and go. On a whim, decided we would like some food from Dairy Queen, Eagle Lake, TX. Well, ​Called to place a pick up order and was placed on hold and the she never came back to take my order. Listened while she took order after order that was placed over the speaker, then just background noise which turned to quiet mumbles evey now and again. I want to see how long it would take her to come back to the phone, it never happened. I hung up at 29mins and 23 sec. Wish I could upload these screen shots. And yes, I have great patience. OMG - so so so so slow and not efficient - we saw 4 people at least in place and we waited and waited... it really looks like 1 person might be doing some work, and then we wait. it took over 13 minutes to get 2 ice creams. I would NOT go back or recommend this place read more

Although I have always enjoyed Dairy Queen, my visit to this location was poor. The fries were very over cooked, with very little potato. They were Basically "grease sticks", And when I got to the burger it had only meat, cheese and bun. I was never asked about the condiments I wanted. The older women at the drive thru seemed angry. She was unkind and the Blizzard was made with rotten milk or something! If you want a cup of sour cream, step right up! If not... keep driving! It takes a while to get your food but is usually worth the wait. The ice cream is the best around these parts!
