Was there Today couldn't find a parking place , had to park across at the Royal bank went in to buy a cake and the place was dead so I ask the Manager why there was no parking He said cause employees need to park Plus the business next store needs parking funny cause I only counted 6 employees plus Manager so that would only be 7 parking spaces if all employees drove in . drive thru was busy but I dont wait in lines like to go inside . when DQ was a stand alone there was always parking no matter what time a day you go there and I have lived in Alliston for over 30 years.I wont be going back if I cant park in Dq lot. read more

Bought a blizzard today and was disappointed. Hardly any Skor bits (maybe 5%) and the soft serve didn't even reach the bottom of the cup! At $6 for a small, which I'm willing to pay to get a good blizzard, I feel extremely ripped off. Will not go back, I'll take my chances that the ice cream machine at Mcdonalds may be functional. read more

I love me a good DQ blizzard every once in awhile, but this place is probably the worst DQ I've ever been too. The employees don't really seem to care about anything, the management just blames the employees. Every blizzard seems to be wrong, even if it's a simple menu blizzard. The restaurant has had holes in the ceiling for years and is generally disgusting in terms of cleanliness. They're apparently planning to build a new location so maybe that will improve things.... hopefully. read more

Visited the store yesterday for a blizzard; my order was wrong, and when I pointed it out, the person/manager berated, patronized, and reduced the employee to tears. I left a message at the Dairy Queen yesterday and sent an email to Fan Relations. Based on what I am reading and pictures, the interaction I experienced must have been with the owner. He called me back this morning to tell me that I had no clue what was going on for the five hours before and this employee was just overly sensitive. He wanted to use his patronizing, belittling tone with me!! Yes, this is a menial job; but it takes a special type of manager to positively motivate, and does not give one in authority the power to abuse his position. Shame on you and hope your employees read this review, and look for a job where they will be valued, even as minimum wage earners. You could not run a store without your 'slaves'. read more

The owner doesn't trust his 'supervisors' to give refunds and therefore they aren't able to refund but take your contact information and you wait for mnths before getting anything back if you do. It's dirty, they charge five cents per extra pickle without a word to the customer, McDonalds does not do this. If the owner makes a mistake, he will not apologize at all. I left there without my order and without my refund, but I did contact Corp and refund is still pending. What a mess! read more

Easily the worst managed DQ grill and chill in the country. The new owner has completely ruined the hard work that the previous owner put in sighing a month! Truly great staff on deck that must feel beaten down and abused by the recent changes and disgusting work atmosphere! The prices have been hiked once again, this new owner must be money hungry as he gives no fu*ks about the work environment or his staff, only about his money and efficiency! We had a terrible experience! There is no seating inside (only picknick tables outside), it is dingy and the bathrooms are only accesable from outside! When my husband tried to redeam his birthday bogo blizzard promotion he was told that the system does not accept it (we have never had that problem at another DQ) and when the cashier tried to do it a different way we could only get medium blizzards even though the coupon said we could get large blizards. We will not be returning to this DQ! read more

Terrible layout, not family friendly, and nearly impossible to get through the doors if you are in a wheelchair or pushing a stroller....which wouldn't be so bad if the staff didn't stand there and watch you struggle. Food was mediocre, but not anything I'd go through the hassle again for...and way overpriced (although this is more of an issue with the chain itself then this particular restaurant.) read more
