I went here on a late night food adventure. I ordered a BLT and some chili fries. Normally, I'd say no mayo on the BLT because I'm not really a fan but I decided to be brave and just leave it. I ordered online and picked it up, this must've been shortly after 11pm. My food was PIPING HOT!! Honestly, I started to smash on the chili fries while I drove home so hot, so good! My BLT was hands down the best BLT I've ever had. Well, they were a little stingy with the bacon even after I paid for extra but I digress. Not too crazy on the mayo. Just, they just did it right. On a whole cheesecake it's a difference of $5.40 not including the charge that nations charges for delivery and the DoorDash charges a separate delivery charge. This Nation's located off Railroad Ave is a very nice spot to have a burger. The only downside to Nation's is their price point: their prices are higher compared to other burger joints, but the quality is mostly delivered. This location is small, and has a small parking lot as well. But it's never too busy, so you should be fine with parking. I know you can call in your order, and they are open late. This one time I came, I order their Bacon Cheeseburger, Chili fries and Strawberry Cheesecake. The burger was one of the best: patty cooked to perfection, plenty veggies and a solid bun. On the other hand, the chili cheese fries were so so. The fries were not seasoned and the cheese not melted the whole way. The cheesecake was so delicious, with that sweet kick of strawberry in there; you can go with a slice as well, so you can just have one yourself, and not order from much. This ain't your grandmother's Nations... Literally. This location must be thriving solely upon the basis of nostalgia, because it's definitely not the food. You can't go wrong with their pies for the most part, but their food is super subpar. Number one, Nation's is a breakfast or burger spot and this place just doesn't live up to the expectations for either. The breakfast is almost always undercooked, which I don't understand given the lack of customers. Why don't you have time to just allow the food to cook fully?! Ain't nobody in this juke joint! The burgers are mediocre at best and a total waste of money at worst. I will say that I've had a grilled cheese or two from here that was fully cooked and had that perfect buttery crispy toasty goodness. I have never been to Nations before and I got to say, the burgers do live up to the expectations. I only decided to go here because I had a "Buy One Get One" free coupon of any item. Trying to maximize my value, I got the most expensive thing in the menu, the Bacon Cheeseburger. The taste of the burger was delicious. I was only able to eat half of it (had some fries as well on the side). The two strips of bacon I got were super thick and juicy. Compared to other burger places, Nations is by far one of the top ones on my list. With Covid in place, they had screen barriers and all employees were wearing masks. They also had gloves on when they were working on the grill. The lady at the counter was nice and helped me with my order throughout the entire process. The location is off of the main road and it has a small parking lot. Inside had a directed traffic of where to order and wait for your order. My only reason for 4 stars, is the price. It cost a little under $10 for just ONE bacon cheeseburger. Without the coupon, I'd be spending close to $20 just for two burgers. I would only get this burger if you have a coupon or you really want bacon. Otherwise, the cheaper prices hamburger or cheeseburger feels better on the wallet. Overall, a great burger place. The chilli fries were absolute buss!! 10/10 would eat again but I'm seriously afraid someone's gonna get sick with those burgers. Cmon check if the patties are fully cooked. I grew up in Pittsburg, CA and have always been a huge fan of Nations! It has been years since I visited but his past weekend I had to make a pit-stop at the local burger joint and have some pie! My sister and I had a clear plan... Order half of a coconut cream and half of a banana cream pie - thats it! We failed. While we were waiting in line we both kept talking about how the other pies looked at staff asked if we wanted to try a piece of the blueberry cream and raspberry cheesecake. We were too weak to resist and after we tried it we ended up leaving with a whole other pie (half blueberry and half raspberry). Both did not disappoint, but instead were just as good as I remembered. I compare every pie to Nation's pies, and I haven't found anything better yet. I got food at Nation's a year ago and it was horrible. Recently, I received a coupon for $1 for the second item, so I ordered last night. When I called, I had to wait six minutes for my turn to order. No big deal. I ordered a bacon burger, a regular burger, and fries. The bacon burger was quite good; it was cooked perfectly. I was full I did not eat the other burger. The only downside were the fries. They were soggy; I do not eat the fries but order them for my dogs. Had I eaten them, I would have been disappointed. When I arrived to pick up my order, there were hardly any customers. I had planned to pay cash, but they no longer take cash, which I understand.
