W!e have had multiple cases with incorrect items in our order and had the drive thru closed on us at 9:40. We pulled up with the light on and then after sitting there for 2 or 3 minutes the light went out and no one said anything. We drove around and the crew would not even look at us. I usually have no problem with their blizzards as someone who has been getting them for a while. I usually stick to cookies n cream but decided to get cotton candy... I got the Peanut Butter cookie dough party Blizzard. I got a medium but honestly a small or mini would have been sufficient. It was a party in my mouth as advertised though. The mixture of the frozen ice cream, the peanut butter (cookie dough) and sprinkles made it quite delicious. After a while the coldness subsided and it kinda turned into a lukewarm peanut butter sludge. Lost interest by then, but my ice cream craving was satisfied by then. read more

We received coupons in the mail and went in last week (02-26-2021; 2:46 PM) to get a free cone (buy one get one free) and the Rotisserie-style Chicken Bites Basket $1.00 off, but the female rep would only allow us to use one coupon? So we got the cone $2.99 & the basket cost us $6.99. When we opened the basket after getting home a few minutes later, we were sorely disappointed. The chicken pieces were the size fit for a baby with new teeth and fries is what mostly took up the basket with the exception of one small piece of toast cut in half. We basically paid for a basket of fries. For $6.99 the chicken should have been thrice the size for 6 pieces. You get more chicken on a chicken burger at BK, McDonald's, Arby's?? The basket should have been no more than at best $3.50 if that for all those fries; whatever. We wonder what they will do if we are able to get thru to call back. They never answer their phone; it goes to fax or cuts off. How unprofessional. The ice-cream cones should be no more than like $1.50. Dairy Queen is much too expensive for what they give to customers. Though we've been customers since childhood, the cost is not worth the product as it was more worth it back then. We'd like to just get our money back from the crummy basket at least. My favorite French fries & Buffalo sauce. (Not together, obviously.) The girl taking our order was very sweet but there are a lot of staff members here & the place is pretty filthy. There's food on all the tables & the floor, no one seems to want to clean it. Makes me worried about what the kitchen looks like. The drive thru was busy but not overly packed and the line moved quickly for a weekday afternoon. I liked how there were 2 menus, one before the intercom and one by the intercom. I can see it helping when cars are backed up and you can decide what to eat instead of making that decision the same time you're at the intercom. Order was repeated back after it was placed and again when we got our food. The employees were wearing gloves and helpful, they were also efficient. Noticed one car who knocked on the store door as part of the order was wrong, and it was fixed right away. Very hardworking staff during this time and fast service. If it was only rating the ice cream, I would give five stars, however, there was a whole host of other issues that I encountered when I tried to buy this ice cream. First of all, the line. For some reason, the line of three people took 30 minutes to service. I realize that there were social distancing guidelines to follow, but the fact that I had to wait so long to receive an ice cream cone that only took 5 minutes to make was a little ridiculous. Additionally, when we entered, it took a lot of back and forth to understand what was going on. Not sure if it was the masks or not, but I had a lot of difficulty being understood by the cashier, and vice verse. I do not harbor any ill will, as I know it is rather difficult to hear over the hubbub, but still, I felt that it took much to long to communicate that I wanted to two cones. But, the one redeeming factor - the cones. I love the crunch of the chocolate shell on the vanilla ice cream, and despite it feeling a little dingy and dirty, I would still go back in a heartbeat (probably much longer...) to buy another one! read more

They make sure to flip the blizzards quick (or not completely) so none drips out. I like that you can choose how many patties you want on a burger, and that they offer four sizes of blizzards. My partner is a big fan of the A1 burger. Consider making it a regular part of the menu! read more

Went to this Dairy Queen after waiting 25 minutes at the Garden Home location. Often this location has been more reliable than the other but last night at 9:30 it too was a mess. Waited 10 minutes at the drive through and only moved 1 car - there were probably 5 more in front of me. WOW guys BRAVO! In the last few months this location has REALLY turned their service around on an epic scale! It used to take insane amounts of time to go through the drive through and we live right down the street so we, of course, wander by all the time even just for a smoothie. I order pretzel sticks multiple times per week because they are amazing but I don't like the oil or salt on. door dash doesn't allow special requests so I called them for the specific request. they were so nice and now when I order they automatically send them the way I need without a request put in!! I had something of a long day today with my dad at Immediate Care and the ER. He's kind of a pain in my behind, and I lost my last day of my precious three day weekend to him. These are the crosses I bear for being a somewhat nice daughter. He didn't even say thank you. He was actually kind of rude. Shocker. He started feeling better towards the end of the time together and started being even more cantankerous and difficult to get along with. Fortuitously, he lives somewhat close to this Dairy Queen. I called my family after dropping him the heck off, Want Blizzards? I asked, as the dust settled behind him. YES! screamed Princess in the background. The most CHOCOLATEY one they got , please mom. Ok. I got her "chocolate extreme", her dad "cherry royale" ( not on the menu, I had to ask and they were nice about this), and I got myself a "candy store" blizzard, ( Blizzard of the Month) which is also chocolate with little truffle things in it. Some of them are hazlenut flavored. Nice. The service was friendly at the drive thru. The kitchen looked pretty clean. I was satisfied. I came home and put a shot of vodka in mine, then crawled onto the couch to decompress. Yes, yes, Kale and brown rice and salmon, I know I know.... yes, yes, weight watchers, blah blah. The food is about the only thing good here. The staff are rude & lazy. Every time i go here walking in my shoes get stuck to the floor from the film of whatever is there. When you order you have to wait about 10 minutes for your food and they are honestly more worried about their drive time. And if you go through drive thru you'll sit there forever. What can I say? It's Dairy Queen! Who doesn't love ice cream? Or should I say Free Ice Cream! Yes, it was Free Cone day. I almost turned around because we clearly weren't the only ones who knew this as I saw the packed parking lot and drive thru. My daughter really wanted that cone and to be honest, SO DID I. I have to admit, it's such a great marketing gimmick to offer a free cone because so many people who came for the free cone ordered meals with it including us. I'm impressed because despite the crowds, the lines moved QUICKLY due to the speedy cashiers. They seemed prepared for this day and we really enjoyed our cones. I think this is the only place to get a dipped cone now that McDonalds no longer does that. It was SO GOOD. They keep you coming back with all the coupons too! read more

We were craving corn dogs, and even though my cousin got one the other day and looked burnt, we went to the dq on Farmington. Our dogs were inedible. The dough was hard as a rock, the dog was dry and tough. I can't believe you guys have the nerve to charge $2 a piece for them. I have gotten way better corn dogs for 1/4 the price at am/pm, and they even have jalapeño/cheddar. I ordered cheese curds of of curiosity, which didn't come with anything to dip them in... 3.50 and no sauce?!!! So I had to pay 50 cents for marinara, and it was ICE COLD. I ordered a cake online four days in advance. On day of pick up I was told my cake wasn't ready. That it still needed decorating and since that's the managers job, it wouldn't be ready for another hour. They had my contact information and could have easily called me before my pick up time to save me an extra trip to the Beaverton location. When I tried to call before my second trip, the phone went to voicemail but wouldn't allow me to leave a message since the inbox was full. I had to pick up the cake without speaking to management. When I finally did speak to the manager all she said was that she was really sorry this happened, offering no further explanation. Don't waste your money! I frequent dQ often with my two girls but time and time again the Beaverton on Farmington location is a huge disappointment! The ice cream is melted by the time we get it, food is soggy and mushy like it was microwaved, the order is always wrong and every time we want to eat in the restaurant, it is nasty and sticky from the floors to the walls and tables..... Never giving them another chance... go to the Aloha or Garden Home locations... better service, food and looks like it was cleaned regularly. read more

I live fairly close to this DQ and I have to say this is hands down one of the best run fast food joints I've ever come across. I have never once had a wrong order, the food is always tasty and fresh and the employees are always friendly and kind. I'm very familiar with the fast food industry as my parents owned and operated a different fast food chain for many years and I am really amazed at how well this restaurant is run!!! This review is concerning a meal we just picked up at the drive-thru of this establishment. I generally avoid using a drive-thru for this exact reason, but we were coming home from a long trip and the little lady just wanted to get home. We ordered three 3-piece chicken baskets. Two of them were to have gravy for a dipping sauce, the other sweet and sour. We should have checked what we received, but we didn't . When we got home, to my horror what was to be gravy, turned out to be ranch.....I hate ranch. We looked at the receipt and it said 2 ranch. The order was taken down incorrectly. But, this saga doesn't end here. The Brisk Raspberry ice tea I ordered was awful, it was lacking syrup. If we had ordered to eat in, this wouldn't have been an issue.
